Robert was born Dec. 22, 1917, in Decatur, the son of Harley and Eunice F. Foster Travis. He was a warehouseman for Quigles Furniture Store for 32 years. He was a World War II
Army veteran. He enjoyed golfing
, bowling, the Grand Old Opry, country music and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He married Nellie Long on May 17, 1941, in Manchester, Tenn.
Surviving are his wife; daughters, Bobetta Merrow and Cheryl Wisley and husband Jim, all of Decatur; grandchildren, Kimberly Stachak and husband Loren, Cheryl Rock, Aron Wisley and wife Rachel and Rob Merrow; great-grandchildren, Jessica Stachak, Trey Rock, Angeline Stachak, Kayli Rock, Mikey Taylor, Mason Wisley and Baylie Wisley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Roy Struse; and brother, Jack.

CASEY -- Zoe Abigail Collier, infant daughter of Troy and Stefanie Lawyer Collier of Casey, died 12:58 a.m. Sunday (Jan. 19, 2003) in Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind.

SHELBYVILLE -- Evelyn K. Cox, 90, of Minonk, formerly of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday (Jan. 18, 2003) in Heritage Manor, Minonk.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Shelbyville, with Father John Sohm officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday with 6:30 p.m. scriptural prayer service with Sister Marie Trutter officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Mrs. Cox was born Aug. 30, 1912, in Stoy, the daughter of Austin and Bonnie Hutson Kerins. She was formerly a personal secretary to Byard Heath, former president and CEO of L.S. Heath and Sons in Robinson. She later held similar positions in Chicago, retiring in 1965. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Shelbyville and former member of Shelbyville Country Club. She was formerly active in several card clubs. She married Riegel Cox on April 22, 1946, in Robinson. He passed away Aug. 29, 1998.
Surviving are her nieces and nephew, Kate Derby of Devine, Texas; Judy Marcoline and husband Jack of Minonk; Dick Kerins and wife Billi of Centralia and their families; sister-in-law, Louise Marvin and husband Bill and her daughters, Janice Owen and Sandra Lankford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Blaine Kerins.
