DECATUR -- Colleen Emma Kelm, 84, of Decatur died 8:55 a.m. Monday (July 30, 2001) in her home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials: Maranatha Assembly of God.
Mrs. Kelm was born April 30, 1917, in rural Fayette County, the daughter of Percy and Myrtle Hayes Zimmerman. She was a homemaker and an avid bingo player. She married Robert M. Kelm on Nov. 10, 1934, in Decatur. He preceded her in death May 1, 1991.
Surviving are her sons, Bobby D. and Patty Kelm; Donald Dale Kelm; Terry L. "Hank" and Sam Kelm, all of Decatur; brother, Percy E. and Glenda Zimmerman of Worthington, Ind.; sister, Cleo and Edward Werner of Decatur; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters.

NIANTIC -- Carl H. Stahl, 76, of Niantic died Tuesday (July 31, 2001) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Homes. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Long Point Cemetery, Niantic. Memorials: Niantic Christian Church Memorial Fund.
Mr. Stahl was born Dec. 28, 1924, in Niantic, the son of Walter D. and Julia Bruce Stahl. Carl was a member of the Niantic Christian Church. He was a lifelong farmer in the Niantic area and a member of Macon County Farm Bureau. He was member of the Masonic Lodge and served in the
Army during the Korean Conflict. Carl was a loyal Cub fan. He served as Republican Committeeman for Niantic Township for many years.
Surviving are daughters, Carla Stahl Graham and husband David of Pawleys Island, S.C.; Carolyn Stahl Floyd and husband Jeff of Darnestown, Md.; grandchildren, Katie Graham, Betsy Graham, Alex Floyd and Jackie Floyd; brothers, Bruce Stahl and wife Jean C. of Illiopolis; Walter Glenn Stahl and wife Marge of Niantic; Herman Stahl of Niantic; Marshall Stahl and wife Delores of Niantic; sisters, Julia Ruth Edgerley of Granville; Mildred Eckhart and husband Richard of Niantic; sisters-in-law, Helen F. Stahl of Niantic; Helen G. Stahl of Decatur; 24 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Larry and Frank, and sister, Mary.
Whitacre
MACON -- Edith M. Whitacre, 90, of Macon died 7:50 a.m. Tuesday (July 31, 2001) in the Order of the Eastern Star Home.
Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Friday in Macon Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Ater-Wikoff Funeral Home, Macon.
Mrs. Whitacre was born July 28, 1911, in Ramsey, the daughter of Andy and Estella Beckett Jackson. She was a cook for 36 years at the Eastern Star home in Macon. She was a telephone operator as well as a homemaker. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Royal Neighbors. She was affiliated with Macon Presbyterian Church. She married Julius Whitacre on Nov. 22, 1972. He preceded her in death Feb. 12, 1992.
Surviving are her son, Robert H. Jenkins and his wife Lee of Macon; brother, Paul Jackson of Macon; sisters, Fern Richards of Macon; Vada Robinson of Peoria; granddaughter, Dixie Lee Clarkson and her husband Dennis of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandson, Todd Allen Jenkins and his wife Vonda of Auburn; great-granddaughters, Tiffany Kaye Milstone of Gilbert, Ariz.; Alyson and Taylor Jenkins of Auburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.

Mr. Bilyeu was born Aug. 27, 1929, in Stonington, the son of Franklin A. Sr. and Helen Stranger Bilyeu. He was a member of First General Baptist Church. He worked for A.E. Staley Mfg. Co., retiring after 34 years of service then worked for Country Market.
He was a World War II
Army veteran, serving from 1944 to 1948. Mr. Bilyeu was a member of VFW Post 4168 in Clinton and former member of the Moose 684. He loved bowling, fishing and woodworking. He married Dorothy A. Hackney June 24, 1951, in Second Church of God, Decatur.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years; children, Robert E. Bilyeu Jr. and wife Brenda of Decatur; Franklin A. Bilyeu and wife Lynnette of Blue Mound; David M. Bilyeu and wife Kathleen of Beaufort, S.C.; Terry Lynn Greenwell and husband William of Decatur; lo
