TAYLORVILLE -- William Ryan "Willie" Everett, 16, of Taylorville died 4:39 p.m. Wednesday (May 30, 2001) in St. John's Hospital, Springfield, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Taylorville, with Fr. John O'Connell officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in Connolly-McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville. Memorials: Red Bland Little League, Taylorville.
He was born Sept. 24, 1984, in Taylorville, the son of Roger D. and Christine D. Curtis Everett. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Taylorville, and was an active participant in basketball and baseball. Willie had just completed his sophomore year in Taylorville High School.
Surviving are his parents, Roger and Chris Everett of Taylorville; brothers, Roger C. Everett of Taylorville; Douglas D. Everett at home; sister, Liza K. Everett of Indianapolis, Ind.; grandmothers, Virginia Curtis and Martha Everett, both of Taylorville; aunts and uncles, Mary Ann Sulzberger of Normal; David Curtis of Springfield; William G. Curtis of Maryville; Ken Everett of Harrisburg; niece, Megan Kay Everett of Taylorville.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, William Curtis and William "Tuffy" Everett.

Mrs. Maulding was born Aug. 29, 1921, the daughter of Dewey and Media B. Johnson King. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Sullivan. She married Reginald E. Maulding Sr. March 4, 1944, in Piggott, Ariz. He preceded her in death in 1993.
Surviving are her sons, Reginald E. Maulding Jr., of Decatur; Michael L. Maulding of Windsor; daughters, Brenda K. Perkins of Thompsonville; Joyce A. Phillips of Dallas, Texas; Donna S. Brown of Windsor; Shannon D. Maulding of Virginia Beach, Va.; sister, Alma Stephens of Decatur; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son.

Mrs. Reedy was born July 29, 1907, in Bethany, the daughter of Edd and Leona Olive Sharp Cordray. She attended the Methodist Church in Dalton City and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Crystal Chapter 39, Sullivan, and American Legion Auxiliary in Dalton City. She married Howard Edward Reedy Aug. 30, 1936, in Bethany. He preceded her in death Dec. 24, 1979.
Surviving are her daughters, Kay L. Gaitros of Dalton City; Betty Robison of Nevada; sisters, Mary Snow of Decatur; Pauline Moses of Arthur; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce O'Kelley, and son, Jerry Reedy.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Woodlawn Cemetery, Effingham. There will be no visitation. Bauer Funeral Home, Effingham, is in charge of arrangements.
