Frank Mitchell
ELDORADO — Frank Mitchell, 94, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, at Ferrell Hospital.
He was a truck driver for Scott Lad.
Surviving are a daughter, Vivian Holland of East Alton; three grandchildren, Terry Lawrence, Steve Mitchell and Robin Russell; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; and a son, Edward.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Watson Funeral Home, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.

Charles 'Steve' Miller Sr.
ROBINSON - Charles "Steve" Miller Sr., 84, of Charleston, Ill., formerly of Stoy and Robinson, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Matoon of a congestive heart condition.
He retired as a gauger and engineer from Marathon Oil Co. in 1980 after 40 years.
He was a World War II
Army veteran.
He was a 50 year member of Robinson American Legion Post 69.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Thelma A. (Tracy) Miller; two sons, Charles E. Jr. of Charleston and Jerry W. of Payallup, Wash.; six grandchildren, Tammy, Kim, Michael and Douglas Miller, Carla Foster and Christy Finney; 14 great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Goodwine Funeral Home Robinson Chapel, with burial in Robinson New Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Ruth Hutchcraft
MCLEANSBORO -Ruth Young Hutchcraft, 91, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at McLeansboro Health Care Center.
She was a retired nurse's aid.
She attended Assembly of God Church and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Surviving are eight grandchildren, John, Eric and Ruthie Young, Marilyn Heimer, Donna Fulkerson and Robert, Everett, Leonard Martin; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Young; her second husband, Jesse Hutchcraft; two sons, William and Arthur Young; and a daughter, Mary Martin.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Gholson Funeral Home, with burial in Oddfellows Cemetery.

Foster Siebert
ELDORADO - Foster I. Siebert, 79, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at Fountain View Nursing Home of apparent heart failure.
He worked as a guard for Vandial Penal Institute Correctional Center.
He was a World War II veteran.
He was a member of Eldorado Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
Surviving are two sons, Gary of Eldorado and Daniel of Haywood, Calif.; a brother, George of Greenville; four grandchildren, Gary, Amy and Steve Siebert and Susan Boster; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Deloris (Cripe) Siebert, last year.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Wolf Creek Cemetery, with military rites.

Ruth Noelle
EQUALITY - Ruth Noelle, 89, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001, at Fountain View Nursing Home in Eldorado.
Surviving are two daughters, Gloria Atkins of Miami, Fla., and Judy Mitchell of Satellite, Fla.; a son, Jerry of Eldorado; a sister, Anna Mae Thiel of Kerrsville, Texas; a brother, Willard Elmendorf of Evansville; five grandchildren, Sandy Morris, Kevin Keene, Amy Mitchell Wheaton and Jeremy and Gretchen Noelle; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Noelle, in 1987.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Watson Funeral Home, with burial in Wolf Creek Cemetery.

Reuben 'Jake' Maier
CROSSVILLE - Reuben D. "Jake" Maier, 79, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001, at his home of apparent heart failure.
He retired as president of First National Bank of Crossville.
He was a World War II veteran.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Carmi American Legion.
Surviving are three daughters, Anita Sullivan of Grayville, Linda Ranes of Louisville, Ill., and Ellen Cleveland of Ulysses, Kan.; a son, Gary of Evansville; two brothers, Norbert of Crossville and Robert of Carmi; and five grandchildren, Beth Florence, Jennifer Sullivan, Cody Ranes and Casey and Carrie Cleveland.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Brown, in 1997.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Stokes Chapel Cemetery, with military rites.
There will be no visitation at Sturm Funeral Home Crossville Chapel.

Golda Patterson
HARRISBURG - Golda Patterson, 87, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001, at Hardin County Hospital.
She was a member of Herod Springs Baptist Church in Herod.
Surviving are two daughters, Essie Anderson of Golconda and Judy DeBose of Eldorado; two sons, Bill and Jim, both of Harrisburg; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jewell Patterson, in 1994.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home, with burial in New Hope Cemetery
in Herod.
Billy Gibbons
HARRISBURG - Billy Gibbons, 63, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at his home of apparent heart failure.
He retired as a coal miner from Eagle 2 Mine in Shawneetown after 27 years.
He was an
Army veteran and was a member of American Legion Post 364 in Carrier Mills, where he was involved in the Honor Guard.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon Gee Gibbons; a daughter, Julie Sumner of Marion; two sons, Larry of Harrisburg and Bruce of Carrier Mills; a sister, Dorothy Brown of Harrison, Mich.; three brothers, Gene, Frank and Art, all of Harrisburg; and six grandchildren, Kaci, Kory and Kody Sumner and Molly, Meagan and Christopher Gibbons.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda (Noonan) Gibbons, in 1981.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, with burial in Salem Cemetery.
