ALBION - Mary J. (Michels) Snowdall, 98, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, at Rest Haven Manor Nursing Home.
She was a stenographer.
Surviving are a daughter, Charlene Wooldridge; a sister, Glenndean Schrodt; a granddaughter; and stepgrandchildren.
Graveside services will be private in Graceland Cemetery. There will be no visitation at Ingram Funeral Home.
Burnie Tyler
FAIRFIELD - Burnie B. Tyler, 93, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, at Wayfair Restorium.
He retired from Airtex.
Surviving are his wife, Maxine; five daughters, Lavern Vaughan, Nova Cravens, Shirley Koker, Donnie Scarbrough and Virginia Witter; four sons, J.B., Andrew, Nathaniel and Jim; five stepchildren; a brother, Woodrow; 22 grandchildren; and stepgrandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Fairfield First General Baptist Church, with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Nale's Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. to service time at the church.
Bernice Wagner
LAWRENCEVILLE - Bernice A. (Butler) Wagner, 90, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, at United Methodist Village.
Surviving are a daughter, Jackie Wagner; a son, Samuel; a sister, Dorothy Henry; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home, with burial in Cresthaven Memorial Park Cemetery

Kermit Yoder
MCLEANSBORO - Kermit E. Yoder, 91, of Lake County, Calif., died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2002, at his home.
He had been a mechanic and cabinet maker.
Surviving are his wife, Sara; a daughter, Vicki Carr; and a grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Harre Funeral Home, with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery, with military rites. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Virginia Carney
NEW HAVEN - Virginia Carney, 78, of Florrisant, Mo., formerly of New Haven, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, in Florrisant.
Surviving are her husband, Carl; a daughter, Janet Marie Miner; two stepdaughters, Brenda Embry and Karen Ricketts; a son, Timothy; and a sister, Helena Cry.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Cox & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Union Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today.
Edna Drone
MOUNT CARMEL - Edna Mae Drone, 73, died Wednesday, January 30, 2002, at Oakview Heights Nur-sing Home in Mount Carmel.
She was born August 29, 1928, in Ewing, Illinois, the daughter of William N. and Stella Dora (Richardson) Wagner.
Mrs. Drone was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and St. Mary's Bible Study Group. She worked as manager for St. Mary's school cafeteria for 31 years.
She married Ted Drone on February 10, 1947, in Ridgway, Ill., and he survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Cindy Drone of Hurst, Texas, Sharon Burke of Evansville and Martha Drone of Lawrenceville, Ga.; one son, Mike Drone of Mount Carmel; two grandchildren, Elicia Drone of Mount Carmel and Thomas Burke of Pasadena, Md.; one great-grandchild, Hope Victoria Burke of Pasadena, Md.; a brother, Bill Wagner of Johnston, Iowa; a half sister, Dora Mae Dale of Benton, Ill.; and a foster sister, Mary Lou Schoeppel of Chester, Ill.
Preceding her in death were her parents; foster parents, Joe and Laura Wolter; her brother, Frank Wagner; her half brother, Willard Wagner; and a half sister, Alice Grewe.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 4, 2002, at St. Mary's Church, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Cunningham Funeral Home in Mount Carmel, with prayer services at 5 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's School Endowment Fund or the Hospice of Southeastern Illinois.
John Fisher Jr.
MOUNT CARMEL - John Jacob Fisher Jr., 42, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, at his home.
He worked as a roughneck in the oil fields.
Surviving are a daughter, Misty Gayle Fisher; a son, Cory J.; his mother, Bonnie Fisher; three sisters, Margaret Windle, Bonita Baker and Jackie Jones; and two brothers, James and Robert.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Highland Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call from noon to service time at Short Funeral Home.
Pauline Hughes
CARMI - Pauline (Pyle) Hughes, 93, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
Surviving are a son, Gary; a sister, Lucile Phillips; and three grandchildren.

HARRISBURG - Gladys Lillian (Little) Bowen, 89, of Meadows Place, Texas, formerly of Harrisburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, at her home.
She had worked as a retail cashier.
Surviving are a daughter, Jo Ann B. Rassu; a sister, Inez Parker; and a granddaughter.

MOUNT CARMEL - Evelyn Viola (Sager) Meier, 81, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2002, at her son's home in Albion.
She worked at Smith's Jewelers and The Flower Shop for several years.
Surviving are two sons, Gordon and Robert Meier; three grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Short Funeral Home. The body will be cremated.
