Roberta J. Billings of Wauconda
Funeral services for Roberta J. Billings (nee Dowell), 80, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main Street, Wauconda.
Born Mar. 26,1919, she died Friday, July 16, 1999, at Winchester House, Libertyville. Interment will be in the Wauconda Cemetery, Wauconda.
Mrs. Billings was a member of the Wauconda Township Historical Society.
She is survived by her children, Kay (Ted) Calloway of Wallins, Ky., John Joseph of Johnsburg, Ill., and Judy (James) Eschenbauch of Wauconda; and grandchildren, Ted and Carrie Calloway.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents, Hattie and George Dowell; brothers, Frank, William, and Raymond Dowell; and sisters, Mildred and Sarah Passfield and Irene Davlin.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wauconda Township Historical Society.
Dyviante Raheem Blalark
Funeral services for Dyviante Raheem Blalark, 5, of Hanover Park, will be held at11 a.m. Monday, at the Living Gospel Church, 1515 Dundee Avenue, Elgin. Rev. Walter Blalark will be officiating.
Born Sept. 10, 1993, in Elgin, the son of Charles E. Blalark Jr. and Keeda Johnson of Hanover Park, he passed away Wednesday, July 14, 1999, at the University of Wisconsin Hospital, Madison Wis.
Burial will be in River Valley Memorial Gardens, West Dundee.
He is survived by his parents; brother, Jerrail Johnson of Hanover Park; sisters, Sabrina and Jasmine Blalark of Elgin; paternal grandparents, Charles (Darcella) Blalark Sr. and Brenda (James) Baker, both of Elgin; maternal grandfather, Fred Cole of Mount Vernon Ill.; and his aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother in infancy; his maternal grandmother, Dwanda Johnson; and his great grandparents, Pastor L. D. and Mary Blalark.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the services Monday, at the church.

Sharon S. Cole of Schaumburg

Born June 20, 1948, in Chicago, she died Thursday, July 15, 1999, at home. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
She was the wife of James Cole; sister of Michael Smith; and aunt of Dylan and Alexia Smith.

Robert A. Degenhardt formerly of Glen Ellyn
Services for Robert A. Degenhardt, 72, of McHenry, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Leonard Memorial Home, Ltd., 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn. The Rev. Ronald Yurcus will officiate.
Born April 13, 1927, in Glen Ellyn, he died Thursday, July 15, 1999, at Northern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Glen Ellyn.
Mr. Degenhardt had been employed as a general foreman in inspection for Navistar. He was a veteran of the Navy Seabees during World War II and was awarded the Asiatic Pacific Victory Medal.
Surviving are his wife, Darlene Degenhardt of McHenry; children, Robin Rose of Lombard, Kathleen Tajak of Glen Ellyn and Krys Crouch of Glen Ellyn; grandchildren, Michelle (Jeff) Hanrahan, Andrea (Phil) McAleer, Jessica Crouch, Nathaniel (Michele) Rose, Diane Tajak, Amy Crouch and Courtney Rose; great-grandchild, Chase Rose; and aunts, Marguerite Matthew and Verna Franz of Arizona.

David Conway Englund of Rockford
A funeral Mass for David Conway Englund, 66, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. James Church in Rockford, with the Rev. David E. Beauvais officiating.
Born July 30, 1932, in Rockford, to Carl and Marion (nee Conway) Englund, he died Thursday, July 15, 1999, at his home.
Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
Mr. Englund had been employed as a photographer at Rockford Memorial Hospital for 24 years, retiring in 1994. A veteran, he had served in the
Army during the
Korean War. Mr. Englund was a member of St. James Church. A big Bears fan, he also enjoyed biking, camping, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his sons, Michael Englund of Rockford and Daniel (Kathy) Englund of Cary; daughter, Valerie (Rick) Seivert of Rockford; grandchildren, Nicholas, Catie and Rebecca Seivert, and Robert and Sarah Englund; brother, Charles (Veletta) Englund of Rockford; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Mary, David Brambert, Barb Friday and Jack Broughton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Robert A. `Bob' Glenn of Naperville
A Mass of Christian Burial for Robert A. `Bob' Glenn, 64, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1215 Modaff Road, Naperville, IL 60540.
Born July 18, 1934, in Davenport, Iowa, he died Wednesday, July 14, 1999, at home. Interment will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Naperville.
Mr. Glenn was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church since moving to Naperville in 1971. He resided in Chicago and was a member of St. Hilary Catholic Church from 1961 until 1971. He graduated in 1959 from St. Ambrose College in Davenport with a bachelor of arts degree in political science. Employed by Bituminous Casualty Corporation in Chicago as an underwriter and branch manager from 1959 until 1989, he retired in 1994 from Willis-Cooroon. Robert Glenn was an avid golfer and a veteran of the
Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (nee Walsh) ofNaperville, whom he married in 1960; children, Molly Glenn of New York, N. Y., Patrick (Carrie) Glenn of Naperville and Christopher Glenn of Naperville; and grandson, Tristan Glenn of Naperville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerard and Viola Glenn; and brother, Richard Glenn.

Lula C. Grivett of Ridgefield

Born Oct. 7, 1909, in Alden, Ill., the daughter of Lewis and Winnie (nee VanHoozen) Bottlemy, she died Monday, July 12, 1999, at home.
She was a member of Ridgefield-Crystal Lake Presbyterian Church, the Ridgefield Grange and the Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include her husband, Louis of Ridgefield; children, Anna Jean Jones of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Mary (Dale) Wille of Troy, Ill., Patricia (Alfred) Henrys of Elgin, Richard (Carol) Grivett of Crystal Lake, Helen (James) Maclure of Palatine and Donald (Patricia) Grivett of Ridgefield; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brothers, Augie (Lenore) Bottlemy of Bull Shoals, Ark. and Wayne Bottlemy of Alden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Isabele Hage and Jane Goetler; and brothers, Orrin and Milo Bottlemy.

Mary L. Hamilton of Libertyville
Memorial services are being planned for Mary L. Hamilton, 68, of Libertyville.
Born March 14, 1931, in Chalybeate, Miss., she passed away Tuesday, July 13, 1999, in McHenry. Interment will be in Chalybeate.
Mrs. Hamilton had been a resident of Libertyville for the past 30 years and recently had lived in Antioch.
Surviving are her children, Joyce (Robert) Schaefer of Grayslake, William (Sabrina) Jones of Riverside, Ala., Kenneth (Debra) Jones of Janesville, Wis., Annette (Jeff) Jones of Antioch and Patricia Jones of Grayslake; grandchildren, Heather, Nicole, Christopher, Gina, T. E. Robert Harz of West Dundee
Services for E. Robert Harz, 83, will be held at 3 p.m. today, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in East Dundee. The Rev. William P. Yonker will officiate.
Born Aug. 6, 1915, in Elgin, to William and Anna (nee Nerge) Von Harz, he died Friday, July 16, 1999, at his home. Burial will be private on Monday, in Dundee Township East Cemetery, East Dundee.
Mr. Harz was a lifelong resident of the area and a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of East Dundee. He was a printer by trade and a former 28-year employee of the Brethren Press.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Lucille Harz (nee Kutzleb), whom he married June 8, 1939; daughters, Shelley (Robert) Haiges of Algonquin, Jessica (Glenn) Gurnett of Elgin and Julie (Roger) Baldwin of Crystal Lake; and grandchildren, Robin, Rory and Ross Haiges, Nathan and Hannah Gurnett, and Christopher and Sarah Baldwin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Ryan R. Haiges, on Sept. 7, 1996; and brothers, Willard and Wilfred Harz.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 3 p.m. today, at the church.

William F. Hild of Villa Park
Funeral services for William F. Hild, 49, will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, at Community Presbyterian Church, 1111 E. Madison St., Lombard.
Born March 29, 1950, in Lombard, he died Thursday, July 15, 1999, at home.
Mr. Hild had been employed as a maintenance supervisor for the City of Villa Park.
He was the beloved husband of Patrice Hild; loving father of William, Lynn and Scott; and cherished son of Phyllis and Henry Hild.
