Christine Thompson of Gurnee
Graveside services for Christine Thompson, 57, will be held Wednesday, at 11 a.m. at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Hunt Club Road and Route 120, Libertyville.
Born April 7, 1942, in Chicago, she died July 3,1999, at her home.
Christine made her home in Gurnee for the last 32 years. She taught 19 years for School District #56, Gurnee Grade and Viking Jr. High Schools. She was a graduate of Carroll College, Waukesha, Wis., Class of 1963. She was also past president of Gurnee Park District, serving 21 years.
She is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Vandel) Thompson of Grayslake and Stephanie (Matthew) Condon of Gurnee; grandchildren, Michael and Kathleen Thompson, and Amelia Condon; parents, Christian and Jean (nee Stephani) Oberheide of Arlington Heights; brothers, James (Betina) Oberheide, M. D., of Frisco, Colo., and Thomas (Janie) Oberheide of Cary.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Stephen E., in 1992.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday,at Salata Gurnee Funeral Home, 4190 Old Grand Avenue, Gurnee.
Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice of Northern Illinois, or National Coalition of Ovarian Cancer.
Eldon Eugene Naffziger of Hendersonville, N. C. formerly of Chicago
A graveside service for Eldon Eugene Naffziger, 83, will be held at 11 a.m. today, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in North Carolina.
The Rev. John Salvas will officiate.
The son of Albert W. and Stella (nee Hulva) Naffziger, he died Thursday, July 8, 1999, at Elizabeth House.
A native of Stanford, Ill., Mr. Naffziger was a 1934 graduate of Stanford High School and went on to receive his bachelor of science degree in 1948 and his master of science degree in 1952, both from Illnois State University in Normal. He served as a business professor at Wilbur Wright College in Chicago and, after moving to Hendersonville, taught business education at Blue Ridge Community College for two years. He was also an
Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mary A. Naffziger; sons, Steven Naffziger of Ojai, Calif., and Gary Naffziger of Vancouver, Wash.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Naomi Fern Ransdell.

Delores Anderson of Buffalo Grove
A funeral Mass for Delores Anderson (nee Zogata), 63, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 75 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove.
Born Jan. 19, 1936, she died Thursday, July 8, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights. Interment will be private.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley Anderson; son, Mark (Laura) Anderson of Glenview; daughter, Mary (Joseph) Lucania of Palatine; grandchildren, John, Ryne and Joseph; brother, Joseph (Mary Ann) Zogata; sisters, Anne Pilch, Susan Boron, Mary (Alex) Skalka, Frances Kocian and Dorothy Polacek; and many nieces and nephews.

Born Feb. 22, 1923, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, July 7, 1999, at Church Creek Healthcare Center. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
Survivors include her sons, Robert C. and Brian J. (Carol) Baldini, both of Arlington Heights; grandchildren, Stephanie and Thomas; sister, Elizabeth (William) Berger; brother, Stephan (Violet) Chiolak; sister-in-law, Ida Baldini; and brother-inlaw, Steven Ciolac.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Baldini; and sisters, Marie (Harry) Eby, Martha Ciolac and Anne Ciolac.

Jerome W. Bechtold of Schaumburg
Services for Jerome W. Bechtold, 48, formerly of Elk Grove Village, will begin with chapel prayers at 9:15 a.m. Monday, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Mr. Bechtold had been a 28-year employee of Malco Electric in Morton Grove.
He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #134.
He was thebeloved husband of Romenik K. Bechtold (nee Kephart); loving father of Steven and Mark Bechtold; devoted son of Bill and Betty (nee DeLoach) Bechtold; fond son-in-law of Nancy Kephart; dear brother of Diane (Marvin) Zaite, Pam (Charlie) Black and, his cherished twin, Janet (Danny) Jones; and cherished and loved uncle, greatuncle, nephew, cousin and friend of many.

Noel C. Bruns of Palatine
A memorial service for Noel C. Bruns of Palatine will be held in Mercer, Wis. He died Friday, July 9, 1999, at his Mercer resort, Pine Noel. A private memorial service will be held locally at a later date for close friends and family to pay their respects.
Mr. Bruns was a native of Palatine, having lived there for more than 72 years.
He was a World War II veteran and a member of the local PTHS `Over the Hill Gang.' Survivors include his wife, Nona Bruns (nee Nehrbass); sons, Nicholas, Ned, Neil, Noel, Norbert and Nathan, aswell as his daughter, Nancy Logue; and many grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Norman, and his parents, Bert and Clara Bruns.

Services for Helen E. Chrisman, 72, of Chandler, Ariz., will be held at 2 p.m. today, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville.

Mrs. Chrisman, who was born August 13, 1926 in Waukegan, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999, at St. Luke's Hospital Hospice in Phoenix, Ariz.
A former Libertyville resident for many years, she retired to Tempe, Ariz. in 1982, moving to Chandler two years later. Mrs. Chrisman was formerly a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Libertyville.
She is survived by her children, Sheri (William) Koenig and Elizabeth (Jess) Carlson, both of Chandler, Harry G. `Chip' (Karen) Chrisman III of Libertyville and Paula (Benjamin) Kille of Simsbury, Conn.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn (Pete) Sikich of Waukegan; and brothers, Tony (Bernice) Glogovsky of Grayslake and Bill Glogovsky of Lindenhurst.
She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Pauline Glogovsky; husband, Harry, in 1986; and son, Joe, in 1997.

Mrs. Cox was a registered nurse and had graduated from St. Anne's School of Nursing, Chicago, in 1929.

Funeral services for Tammy Marie DePasqua, 9, of Campton Township/St. Charles, formerly of Addison, will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road (one block east of Naperville Road), Wheaton, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Mark Church, 303 E. Cole Ave., Wheaton.
She died Wednesday, July 7, 1999, at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
Interment will be in a local cemetery.
Tammy was a fourth grade student at Wasco Elementary School.
Surviving are her parents, Kathleen (James) Lake and Matthew DePasqua; sister, Amanda DePasqua; grandparents, Michael and Mary Ann Sturm, Mary and Matthew DePasqua, and Margaret and Edward Lake; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved her.
