Helene S. Wilkening of Batavia
Memorial services for Helene S. Wilkening, 88, of The Holmstad in Batavia, formerly of the Chicago area, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 10, at The Holmstad's Park Manor, 700 W. Fabyan Parkway, Batavia. The Rev. Donna Nelson will officiate.
Born June 3, 1911, in Cerro Gordo, Ill., to Samuel and Alice Gertrude (nee Dobson) Still, she passed away Saturday, June 26, 1999, at Michaelsen Care Center, Batavia. Graveside services will take place at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 10, at the Cerro Gordo Cemetery, with the Rev. Ted Mitchell officiating.
Mrs. Wilkening was a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign and was a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority. She had been employed as a bookkeeper throughout her career. Helene was a member of the CerroGordo United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, John A. Wilkening; one nephew; five nieces; and many great-nephews and -nieces and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles J. Jones; two brothers; and two sisters.

Marie M. `Dolores' Abraham of Elk Grove Village
Services for Marie M. `Dolores' Abraham (nee Kroncke), 71, will begin with chapel prayers at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Road (three blocks south of Biesterfield Road), Elk Grove Village, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at Queen of the Rosary Church.
Born in Chicago, she died Friday, July 2, 1999. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
Mrs. Abraham was a retired employee of the Davidsmeyer Bus Company.
Among her special interests, she was an avid bingo player.
She was the beloved wife of the late Arnold J. Abraham; loving mother of Marilyn Moroniak, Shirley Abraham and Michael (Susan E.) Abraham; dear sister of Margaret (Justin) Evans and Dorothy Ann (the late John) Cunningham; cherished grandmother of six; and greatgrandmother of two.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral chapel.

Barbara J. Bresnahan
Services for Barbara J. Bresnahan, 63, of Des Moines, Iowa, will be held at 1:30 p.m. today, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville. A funeral Mass was also held at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Des Moines.
Born Dec. 6, 1935, in Des Moines, she passed away Monday, June 28, 1999, at home. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Libertyville.
She was a 1954 graduate of Coon Rapids High School before moving back to Des Moines in 1957. She was also a graduate of the Commercial Extension Business School in Omaha, Neb. Barbara was a former member, past president and treasurer or the Business and Professional Women's Club of Des Moines, a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, and had been employed at the James J. Kane Law Offices for the past 10 years.
Surviving are her husband, John Bresnahan; daughter, Cynthia (Phil) Dane and granddaughter, Kathryn Irene Dane, all of Libertyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Irene Young of Coon Rapids.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the services today, at the funeral home.

Born July 12, 1910, in Chicago, she died Friday, July 2, 1999, at St. Alexius Medical Center, Hoffman Estates. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum, River Grove.
A homemaker, she was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Cebulski; loving mother of Dolores (Ken) Gazda; cherished grandmother of Bill (Sheri), Joe (Lucy), Jon (Yvonne) and Ryan Gazda; dear sister of the late Oscar Colletti, Lena (the late Dan) Dvornik and Josephina; sisterin-law of Frances Colletti; and dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many other family members.

John B. Croll of Barrington
A memorial service celebrating the life of John B. Croll, 58, of Barrington, will be held at 3 p.m. today, at the Presbyterian Church of Barrington, 6 Brinker Road, Barrington.
Mr. Croll died Tuesday, June 29, 1999.
He was the proud father of Bryan, Stacey and Steven; former husband of Kendra and friend of Mary Ann Wilber; brother of Richard and Robert (Sandra); uncle of Rob; and son of the late Florence and Frederick Croll.
Audrey A. Ewert of Elgin
Services for Audrey A. Ewert, 68, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin. The Rev. Michael Franz will officiate.
Born March 23, 1931, in Elgin,to Virgil and Amy (nee Fisk) Fellows, she died Thursday, July 1, 1999, at her home. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Audrey had been employed by Elgin Mental Health Center as a driver for many years, prior to her retirement. She was a 50-year member of the Ladies of the Moose Lodge #799 and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.
Surviving are her children, Ted (Marcy) Ewert of Carpentersville and Carla (Paul) Bernet of Elgin; grandchildren, Anna, Ryan, Justin and Dana Ewert; brothers, Edwin (Tomi) Johnson, Herbert (Shirley) Fellows and Gene E. Fellows; sisters, Betty Peabody and Carol (Roger) Shear; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Frieda Fritz of Elgin

Born March 1, 1905, in Germany, to Gustav and Wilhelmina Gemmrig, she passed away Wednesday, June 30, 1999, at her home. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Fritz had come to the United States in 1928 and had been an Elgin resident since that time. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Elgin and the Elgin Turners Women's Club.
Survivors include her daughters, Eleanor (Raymond) Schaff of Elgin and Marianne McCallum of Denver, Colo.; son, Ernst (Sonia) Fritz of Waukesha, Wis.; four grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Karola Friedrich, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl W. Fritz, in 1977; son, Carl; one brother; one sister; and one grandson.
Memorials may be given to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Radio Ministry.
Henrietta Haynes of Carpentersville
Private family services for Henrietta Haynes, 69, will be held today, at Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee. Rev. Greg Lucas will officiate.
Born Nov. 15, 1929, in Jackson, Miss., the daughter of John Henry and Emma Mae (nee Aglin) Leaman, she died Tuesday, June 29, 1999, at home. Burial will be in Windridge Cemetery, Cary.
A 42-year resident of the Carpentersville area, she is survived by her husband, James W. Haynes; son, Danny (Kathy) Haynes, of Nashville, Tenn.; daughters, Teresa (Harold) Patrick of West Dundee and Debbie (Harry) Doscher of Sleepy Hollow; and grandchildren, Mandi and Tim Patrick.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Dorothy Mae Johnson and Katherine Berryhill.

Harold G. Hudik of Carpentersville

Born Oct. 18, 1933, in Chicago, to Joseph and Rose (nee Ricker) Hudik, he died Thursday, July 1, 1999, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in Dundee Township East Cemetery.
Mr. Hudik had been a resident of the Carpentersville area for 26 years and was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church.
He was a former 43-year employee of AT&T (Lucent Technologies).
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Loretta M. Hudik (nee Lucas), whom he married May 9, 1964; daughter, Lisa of Elgin; sons, David (Cindy) of Elgin and Paul of Ohio; grandsons, Nicholas and Jacob; sister, Roberta (Ron) Lorenz of Berwyn; and brothers, Bernard (Claudette) of North Riverside, Richard (Colette) of Lombard and Martin (Eileen) of Berwyn.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, the Rev. Joseph Hudik.

A resident of Leisure Village in Fox Lake, Mrs. Kaiser had been employed as an executive secretary in the medical field. She was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include her cousins, Florence Humiston of Sun City, Ariz., and Jeanette Dilg of Doylestown, Pa.; grandcousins, Kevin L. Humiston of Palatine, Scott B. Humiston of McHenry and Christopher Humiston of Baltimore, Md.; and great-grandcousins, Charlaine R. Humiston of Ingleside, Kyle R. Humiston of Palatine and Lauryn Humiston of Baltimore.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard J. Kaiser, on Nov. 8, 1979.
