Linda grew up in Elburn until seventh grade when her family moved to Geneva.
She graduated from Geneva High School, class of 1981. Following graduation, she worked at a variety of jobs before settling into data entry work at Richardson Electronics in LaFox.
To know Linda was to love her. Outgoing, thoughtful, sensitive and indomitable in spirit, she was a thousand watt halogen light in a world of mere candles. She had style, class and a personalsense of pride that never let her leave the house without being dressed to a `T' from head to toe. She loved to travel and left a friendship `network' that stretched from Brazil to Hawaii, Germany, Spain, Mexico, New York, California and a dozen points in between. She was the president of the `shop 'till you drop' club, but not just for herself. Wherever she went she thought of family and friends and shared her shopping treasures frequently. She was a wonderful dancer and could make any dull evening into a perfect party. Even when an auto accident left her a quadraplegic in 1991, her spirit completely ignored the limitation of her body. Although she learned to speak, write and dress all over again, `Linda's Party' scarcely skipped a beat.
