Priscilla Joice Spiess formerly of Elgin
Memorial services for Priscilla Joice Spiess, 72, of Naples,Fla. since 1978, will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin.
Rev. Randall Haycock will officiate.
Born July 16, 1926, in Evanston, the daughter of Clyde M. Joice and Rebekah Alden Joice, she died Saturday, June 19, 1999, at home. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery.
She grew up in Evanston and was a graduate of Evanston High School. She received her bachelor of science degree in statistics from the University of Chicago. After graduation, she worked as the statistician for the Swift Company, producing a monthly newsletter on the dairy and poultry industry. After her marriage to John E. Spiess, she moved to Elgin, where she was active inthe community.
She served as vice president of Joseph Spiess Company, president of the Junior Service Board of Elgin, and was a member of the board of the YWCA of Elgin.
She was also a member of Travel Class, Fidelter's Club, DY Chapter of P. E. O., the Moorings Country Club in Naples and Minocqua Country Club in Minocqua, Wis.
Surviving is her husband, John E. Spiess; daughters, Anne (Neil) Levy of Los Angeles, Calif., Mary (R. Douglas) Smith of Zionsville,Ind. and Joan (James) Julow of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; grandchildren, Sarah and Hannah Levy, Bradley, Geoffrey and Emily Smith, and John, Joshua and Jaclyn Julow; sister-in-law, Katherine Joice; and brother, John Alden Joice of Glendale, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Sally Spiess West.
Visitation will be from 1 p. m. until the time of the services Saturday, at the funeral home.

Ruth C. Spindler formerly of Carpentersville
Graveside services for Ruth C. Spindler, 75, of Raleigh,N. C., will be held at 11 a. m. Saturday, at Dundee Township East Cemetery.
Born Sept. 24, 1927, in Chicago, the daughter of John and Bertha (nee Spiedel) Issel, she died Friday, June 18, 1999, at Rex Hospital.
Mrs. Spindler was a member of the Dundee VFW #2298 Ladies Auxiliary, Christ the King Lutheran Church in Cary, N. C. and former member ofSt. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Carpentersville.
While in North Carolina, Mrs. Spindler volunteered at the Manorhouse Retirement Center and Lutheran Family Services. She also had a great love of animals.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Robert G. Spindler; son, Jack R. (Patti) Spindler of Crystal Lake; daughter, Darlene (Rev. ThomasE. Jr.) Nelson of Raleigh; grandchildren, Jack R. Spindler, Jennifer J. Spindler and David P. Spindler; and brothers, Harold Issel of Phoenix, Ariz. and Eugene Issel of Carpentersville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Keith Lawrence Spindler; brothers, Leo and John Issel; and sisters, Elizabeth and Caroline Issel.
Visitation will be from 10 a. m. until the time of the services Saturday, at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee.

Kenneth Paul Stachon of Carpentersville
Memorial services for Kenneth Paul Stachon, 60, will be held at 2 p. m. today, at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee.
Born June 26, 1938, in Chicago, to Paul and Sophie Stachon, he died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at his home. Interment will be private.
Mr. Stachon had been a resident of the area for the past 45 years. A graduate of Purdue University, he worked as an engineering consultant. He was also an avid gardener and had organized the Garden Club Program at the Home Depot in Palatine.
Survivors include his son, Michael (Laura) Stachon of South Elgin; daughters, Kimberly Bardesi of Carpentersville and Kendall (John) Constabielo of Vernon Hills; and grandsons, Michael Paul and Alexander Lorenz Bardesi.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no visitation.
Alice Ann Stybr of Rolling Meadows
Services for Alice Ann Stybr, 66, will be held at 8 p. m. today, atMeadows Funeral Home, 3516 Kirchoff Rd., Rolling Meadows.
Born Aug. 13, 1932, in Coal City, Ill., she died Saturday, June 19, 1999, at home.
She was a former office manager for Abra Enterprise in Elk Grove Village for more than 25 years.
She was the daughter of the late Anton and Helen Schwab; mother of Daniel C. (Annette) and Patti Jo Stybr and Aimee (Daniel) Scanlan; grandmother of Katie and Amber Stybr, and Jessica, Molly and the late Maggie Scanlan; and sister of Kathryn Kasher.
Visitation will be from 4 p. m. until the time of the services today, at the funeral home.

Margaret Weidner of Arlington Heights
A funeral Mass for Margaret Weidner (nee Herff), 81, will be held at 10 a. m. Friday, at St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights.
Born Sept. 19, 1917, in Chicago, she died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at home. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Buffalo Grove.
Mrs. Weidner was a floral arranger/ designer for Sylvia's Flowers for more than 40 years.
Survivors include her children, James (Kal) of Longmont, Colo., Janice (Steve) Malaznik of Algonquin, Earl of Arlington Heights, Gayle of Buffalo Grove and Terrence of Arlington Heights; grandchildren, Paul Weidner, Christine White, David Weidner, Catherine Dau, and Sandra, Ronald and William Buske; great-grandchildren, Kristin and David Dau, Leah and Jesse White, and Brett Buske; sister, Helen (John) Koch; and brother, Nicholas (Dorothy) Herff.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James; sisters, Marie Nordstrom, Lucille Raupp and Ann Muran; and brothers, Frank, Jacob and Mathias Herff.

William Wisser formerly of Elgin
Services for William Wisser, 74, of Mountain Home, Ark., will be held at 11:30 a. m. Saturday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin. Dr. Robert Kasper will officiate.
Born March 1, 1925, in Chicago, to Emil and Emma (nee Eisenman) Wisser, he died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, in Mountain Home. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mr. Wisser had been a resident of Elgin for most of his life and had lived in Mountain Home since 1987. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a truck driver by Elgin Fruit and Produce.
A World War II veteran, he had served in the
Army Combat Engineers and participated in the Normandy Invasion and the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of American Legion Post 57 of Elgin and VFW Post 3246 of Mountain Home.
Surviving are his wife, Mamie Lucille Wisser (nee Wilburn) of Mountain Home; daughters, Sylvia (Tim) Peshek of Elgin and Nancy (Dave) Hachtel of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sons, Richard (Becky) Wisser, Bruce (Lori) Wisser and Ronald (Debra) Wisser, all of Elgin; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Wisser.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p. m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Stella L. Zeller of Des Plaines
Services for Stella L. Zeller (nee Logsdon), 99, formerly of Rocky River, Ohio, will be held at 1:30 p. m. Saturday, at Rocky River Methodist Church in Rocky River.
Born Dec. 8, 1899, in Holmes County Ohio, she died Tuesday June 15, 1999, at Holy Family Medical Center. Burial will be in Lakewood Park in Lakewood, Ohio.
A graduate of Muskigum College in New Concord Ohio, she was a teacher in a one room school in Holmes County and northern Ohio for more than 20 years.
She was the wife of the late Howard N. Zeller; mother of Robert W. (Alice) Zeller of Mount Prospect; grandmother of Deborah (Robert) Mellette of Colorado, Jennifer (Doug) Matsudka of Georgia, Melissa Schleicher of Texas, Robert H. (Linda) Zeller of Colorado and Susan Mason of Ohio; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p. m. Friday, at Busch-Saxton-Parker-Daniels Funeral Home, 15800 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio.

Born Sept. 28, 1919, in Chicago,to Fredrick and Wilhelmine (nee Krueger) Senkpeil, she died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at her home. Interment will be in Crystal Lake Memorial Park Cemetery

Mrs. Zoellick was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crystal Lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry Zoellick, whom she married Sept. 7, 1940, in Chicago, and who preceded her in 1986; grandson, Thomas Zoellick, in 1980; and sister, Ruth Kamrath, in 1997.

Born in Washington, Ill., she died Wednesday June 23, 1999. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A teacher at Robert Frost School in District 59, she was the wife of Kenneth P.; mother of Deron and Laurie; daughter of Helen and the late Stanley Quiram; sister of Ronald (JoAnne) Quiram, James Quiram, Sharon Renner and Debbie (Jim) Weiland; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p. m. today, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd. (three blocks south of Biesterfield Road) Elk Grove Village.
Elaine M. Bales formerly of Grayslake
Graveside services for Elaine M. Bales (nee Voltz), 76, of Sun City, Ariz., will be held on Saturday in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
Born Feb. 22, 1923, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, June 16, 1999, in Arizona.
Mrs. Bales had made her home in Grayslake before moving to Sun City in 1986. She was a member of St. Joachim and St. Anne Catholic Church. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a secretary for CNA Life Insurance Company.
Survivors include her stepson, David Bales; stepdaughter, Bethjean Andrews; and three stepgrandchildren.
