She was the dearly beloved wife of Timothy Kohlstedt; loving mother of William; beloved daughter of William and the late Jo Ann Dini; fond granddaughter of John and the late Myrtle Santore; and dear niece, sister-in-law, cousin and friend of many.

Richard F. Farner of Vernon Hills
Services for Richard F. Farner, 68, will be held at 7:30 p. m. today, at BurnettDane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville.
Born June 19, 1931, in Libertyville, he passed away Monday, June 21, 1999, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
A Mundelein-Half Day resident all of his life, he went to work as a young man of 14 at Hawthorn Melody Farms in Libertyville. He retired as a truck driver for Rossetti Contracting in Rolling Meadows.
Rich loved the outdoors,
hunting, fishing and especially his garden.
Surviving are his wife, Elissa (nee Severance) Farner; daughters, Barbara Farner of Venice, Fla. and Cheryl (Thomas) Perez of Round Lake Beach; sons, Rick Farner of Arlington Heights, Mickey and Jeff Farner, both of Vernon Hills and Steven Farner of San Francisco, Calif.; grandchildren, Mickey, Scott, Eric, Chris, Brian, Melissa, Elyse and Jeremy; sisters, Myrtle (Charles) Dorband of Wonder Lake and Judy (Dave) Kruckenberg of Stafford, Va.; and brother, Tom Farner of Wheeling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Eleanore Farner; brother, Leonard; and sisters, Barbara and Patricia.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m. today, at the funeral home.

Born Sept. 10, 1916, in Des Plaines, she died Monday, June 21, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare in Arlington Heights. Burial will be private.
Retired, Mrs. Gutekunst had been a Kindergarten teacher at Immaunel Lutheran Church of Palatine. She bred and raised championship miniature Dachshunds.
She was the wife of the late Norman; mother of Thomas (Brenda) of Chandler, Ariz. and Patricia (Earl) Burton of Cary; grandmother of Kurt Gutekunst of Wonder Lake, Paul (Gail) Anderson of Cary, Richard Anderson of Cary, Tracey (Walter)Laureta of Crystal Lake Melinda (Todd) Fulton of Crystal Lake; great-grandmother of five; and sister of the late Eleanor Hoeninger and Harold Geuder.
Visitation will be from 4 p. m. until the time of the services today, at the funeral home.

Clara Hachtel of West Dundee
Services for Clara Hachtel (nee Meier), 94, will be held at 10 a. m. today, at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee. The Rev. Marc N. Schwichtenberg will officiate.
Born Sept. 28, 1904, in Barrington, to William and Minnie (nee Fierke) Meier, she died Saturday, June 19, 1999, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in Dundee Township East Cemetery, East Dundee.
Mrs. Hachtel was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of East Dundee.
Surviving are her sons, Charles E. (Luann) Hachtel of East Dundee and Donald R. Hachtel of West Dundee; granddaughters, Cindy (Doug) Morrison of Hampshire and Susan (Mark) Heining of Prior Lake, Minn.; grandson, Bradley (Laurie) Hachtel of Phoenix, Ariz.; great-grandchildren, Joel, Abbey and Luci Morrison, and Katie, Mollie and Scott Heining; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles G. `Chick' Hachtel, whom she married Sept. 14, 1929 and who preceded her Feb. 21, 1990; brothers, Charles, William, Clarence, Frank and Roy Meier; and sisters, Rose Hagenow and Emma Scheer.

Virginia M. Heinrich formerly of Roselle
Services for Virginia M. Heinrich (nee Becker), 80, of Colorado Springs, Colo., will be held at 3 p. m. Sunday, at Roselle United Methodist Church, 206 S. Rush St., Roselle.
Born Aug. 13, 1918, in Lakewood, Ohio, she died Saturday, June 19, 1999, in Colorado Springs. Interment will be in Lakewood Park Cemetery, Rocky River, Ohio.
A 46-year Roselle resident, Mrs. Heinrich had been a second grade teacher at Roselle Public School from 1956 to 1976, where for many years each student in her class would bake an individualloaf of bread. She was a life member of the American Diatetic Association.
She was the wife for 42 years of the late Karl W. Heinrich; mother of Thomas C. (Brenda) Heinrich of Powder Springs, Ga. and Mary Beth (Duane) Spaulding of Colorado Springs; grandmother of Amy M. Spaulding, Walter A. Heinrich, Karl J. Heinrich and Eric M. Spaulding.

John W. Sherman II of Arlington Heights
Memorial services for John W. Sherman II, 57, will be held at 10 a. m. Saturday, at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 906 E. Central, Arlington Heights.
Born Nov. 30, 1941, in Baltimore, Md., he died Monday, June 21, 1999, at home.
Mr. Sherman had been a resident of Arlington Heights for 20 years. A veteran, he had served in the Marine Corps during the Vietname War.
Surviving are his wife, Denise Sherman (nee Welk); children, John W. III and Elizabeth Sherman; parents, John W. and Helen Sherman; sisters, Nancy (Peter) Rumsey, Patricia (James) Grimshaw, Rosemary (Steven) Bono and Carol (Joseph) Allen; and many nieces and nephews.

Born Dec. 16, 1910, in Elk Grove Township, the daughter of George and Marie (nee Oehlerking) Busse, she died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at Florence Nursing Home in Marengo. Interment will be in McHenry County Memorial Park in Woodstock.
Mrs. Joost had been employed by Perkins Oil Company in Marengo for many years and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Phyllis (Thomas) McAuliffe of Marengo and Juanita (John) Fleener of Marengo; grandchildren, Shawn David (Shawn Marie) McAuliffe of Marengo and Kristie McAuliffe of Pennsylvania; great-grandchildren, Troy and Haliegh McAuliffe; sisters-in-law, Ruth Joost and Mary Winkle; and brother-in-law, Walter (Pearl) Joost.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul, in 1977; sisters, Lena, Mamie and Martha; and brothers, George L., Gilbert and Harvey.

Mr. Lukasik passed away Wednesday, June 23, 1999, at home. Interment will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
An Air Force veteran of World War II, Vincent was a member of the Lake Villa V. F. W. as well as the Lake Villa American Legion.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Helen (nee Janaszkiewicz); sons, Vincent Lukasik Jr., David (Orlee) Lukasik, Robert (Jane) Lukasik and Richard (Marty) Lukasik; grandchildren, Mary Beth, Carol Anne, Vince, Andrew (Heather), Tiffany, Gordon, Christine, Orlee and Katie; great-grandchildren, D. J., Matthew, Alexis and Austin; and sisters, Mary, Connie, and Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ceilia, Rose and Helen.

He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Janet Marie Markee-Jensen of Huntley

Born Sept. 11, 1944, in Elgin, the daughter of Edward Sylvester and Evelyn Marie Meyer Muehlfelt, she died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at home. Interment will be in Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
Janet was office manager at Prudential Performance Plus Realty of Crystal Lake.
Janet was formerly a personal financial service representative and employee of the year in 1993 at First Colonial Bank of Crystal Lake. A former Crystal Lake resident, Janet was active in the community and civic affairs. She was treasurer as well as finance and budget chairman for the American Cancer Society and served on the allocations committee and campaign consultant for the United Way. In addition, she was treasurer for the Crystal Lake Community Choir and a member of the Crystal Lake Chamber ofCommerce economic development committee and referral network. Janet was also a member of Women in Management.
Survivors include her husband, Alfred Jensen of Huntley, whom she married on May 24, 1997, in San Diego, Calif.; daughter, Holly (Jerry) Kirby of Union; son, Brian Markee of Huntley; stepdaughter, Cindy (William) Goldsmith of Plano, Ill.; stepson, Daniel Jensen of Yorkville; seven grandchildren; brother, Edward (Jean) Muehlfelt of Baraboo, Wis.; and sisters, Alice (Wayne) Malzahn of Joplin, Mo., Patricia (George) Bender of Madison, Wis., Sandra (James) Van de Water of Escondido, Calif. and Vivian (Edward) Cullom of Cary.
