Visitation and funeral services for Marie A. Schuhmann (nee Grunthaner), 84, formerly of College Point, N. Y., will take place in New York.
Born in St. Mary, Pa., she died Monday, June 21, 1999. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Flushing, N. Y.
A member of Schaumburg Senior Citizens, she was the wife of the late Edmund; mother of Edmund (Barbara) and Barbara E. (George J.) Slabowski; grandmother of George, Elizabeth, Joseph, Michelle and Edmund; and great-grandmother of Sarah, Melissa, Thomas, Karen, Michele, Melissa and Nicholas.
Arrangements were made by Grove Memorial Chapel, Elk Grove Village.
Priscilla Joice Spiess formerly of Elgin
Memorial services for Priscilla Joice Spiess, 72, of Naples,Fla. since 1978, will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin.
Rev. Randall Haycock will officiate.
Born July 16, 1926, in Evanston, the daughter of Clyde M. Joice and Rebekah Alden Joice, she died Saturday, June 19, 1999, at home. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery.
She grew up in Evanston and was a graduate of Evanston High School. She received her bachelor of science degree in statistics from the University of Chicago. After graduation, she worked as the statistician for the Swift Company, producing a monthly newsletter on the dairy and poultry industry. After her marriage to John E. Spiess, she moved to Elgin, where she was active inthe community.
She served as vice president of Joseph Spiess Company, president of the Junior Service Board of Elgin, and was a member of the board of the YWCA of Elgin.
She was also a member of Travel Class, Fidelter's Club, DY Chapter of P. E. O., the Moorings Country Club in Naples and Minocqua Country Club in Minocqua, Wis.
Surviving is her husband, John E. Spiess; daughters, Anne (Neil) Levy of Los Angeles, Calif., Mary (R. Douglas) Smith of Zionsville,Ind. and Joan (James) Julow of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; grandchildren, Sarah and Hannah Levy, Bradley, Geoffrey and Emily Smith, and John, Joshua and Jaclyn Julow; sister-in-law, Katherine Joice; and brother, John Alden Joice of Glendale, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Sally Spiess West.
Visitation will be from 1 p. m. until the time of the services Saturday, at the funeral home.

Kenneth Paul Stachon of Carpentersville
Memorial services for Kenneth Paul Stachon, 60, will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday, at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee.
Born June 26, 1938, in Chicago, toPaul and Sophie Stachon, he died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at his home. Interment will be private.
Mr. Stachon had been a resident of the area for the past 45 years. A graduate of Purdue University, he worked as an engineering consultant. He was also an avid gardener and had organized the Garden Club Program at the Home Depot in Palatine.
Survivors include his son, Michael (Laura) Stachon of South Elgin; daughters, Kimberly Bardesi of Carpentersville and Kendall (John) Constabielo of Vernon Hills; and grandsons, Michael Paul and Alexander Lorenz Bardesi.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no visitation.
Alice Ann Stybr of Rolling Meadows
Services for Alice Ann Stybr, 66, will be held at 8 p. m. Thursday,at Meadows Funeral Home, 3516 Kirchoff Road, Rolling Meadows.
Born Aug. 13, 1932, in Coal City, Ill., she died Saturday, June 19, 1999, at home.
Alice was a former office manager for Abra Enterprise in Elk Grove Village for more than 25 years.
She was the daughter of the late Anton and Helen Schwab; mother of Daniel C. (Annette) and Patti Jo Stybr and Aimee (Daniel) Scanlan; grandmother of Katie and Amber Stybr, and Jessica, Molly and the late Maggie Scanlan; and sister of Kathryn Kasher.
Visitation will be from 4 p. m. until the time of the services Thursday, atthe funeral home.

Zachery Allen Williams of Round Lake Park
Services for Zachery Allen Williams, a 30-day old infant, will be held at 1 p. m. today, at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake. Rev. Lisle J. Kauffman will officiate.
Born May 22, 1999, at Highland Park Hospital, he passed away Monday, June 21, 1999, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Libertyville.
He leaves his parents, Tina Nicholas and Richard Williams of Round Lake Park; sister, Summer; brother, Kyle; maternal grandparents, Jerry (Natalie) Moynihan and paternal grandparents, Raymon (Beverly) Mejia, all of Round LakeBeach; grandfather, Franklin Williams of Des Plaines; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends of thefamily may visit from 11 a. m. until the time of the services today, at the funeral chapel.

William Wisser formerly of Elgin
Services for William Wisser, 74, of Mountain Home, Ark., will be held at 11:30 a. m. Saturday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin. Dr. Robert Kasper will officiate.
Born March 1, 1925, in Chicago, to Emil and Emma (nee Eisenman) Wisser, he died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, in Mountain Home. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mr. Wisser had been a resident of Elgin for most of his life and had lived in Mountain Home since 1987. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a truck driver by Elgin Fruit and Produce.
A World War II veteran, he had served in the
Army Combat Engineers and participated in the Normandy Invasion and the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of American Legion Post 57 of Elgin and VFW Post 3246 of Mountain Home.
Surviving are his wife, Mamie Lucille Wisser (nee Wilburn) of Mountain Home; daughters, Sylvia (Tim) Peshek of Elgin and Nancy (Dave) Hachtel of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sons, Richard (Becky) Wisser, Bruce (Lori) Wisser and Ronald (Debra) Wisser, all of Elgin; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Wisser.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p. m. Friday, at the funeral home.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest Serra; devoted mother of Gary (Joy) Serra, Gregory (Sue) Serra, Daniel (Laura) Serra, and LaVerne (Bernie) Smuda; loving daughter of the late Vernie Andersen; fond grandmother of Jennifer, Brian, Michelle, Jarrod, Margaret, Mary, Stacey and Brian Serra, and Michael and Melissa Smuda; and dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

A teacher at Robert Frost School in District 59, she was the wife of Kenneth P.; mother of Deron and Laurie; daughter of Helen and the late Stanley Quiram; sister of Ronald (JoAnne) Quiram, James Quiram, Sharon Renner and Debbie (Jim) Weiland; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Byrnes had been a secretary for F. H. Bohn in Arlington Heights for more than 10 years.
She was the wife of Richard M. Byrnes; mother of Deborah Ann (William) Rooney and Nancy (Robert) Kern; grandmother of Billy and Megan Rooney, and Richie and Colleen Kern; and sister of Jane Quigley and the late Evelyn McDonald, Dorothy Quigley and John Quigley.

She was the owner of The Cline Group `Acorn Lodge' in Lake in the Hills and a member of the Audubon Society and National Geographic.
Survivors include her brothers, Edward (Holly) Cline of Norman, Okla., and Michael Cline of Champaign, Ill.; very best friend, Kim Simmons; and six nieces and nephews.
