Christian J. Jacobsen Jr. of Crystal Lake
A funeral Mass for Christian Jacobsen Jr., 56, will be celebrated at 11 a. m. Thursday, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Crystal Lake. The Rev. Dave Huber will officiate.
Born May 4, 1943, in Chicago, to Christian J. and Margaret (nee Butler) Jacobsen Sr., he died Monday, June 21, 1999, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Interment will be in Windridge Cemetery, Cary, following the Mass.
Mr. Jacobsen had been employed at Black Dot Graphics of Crystal Lake for 30 years.
Surviving are his daughter, Susan Jacobsen of CrystalLake; son, Christian J. (Michelle) Jacobsen III of Crystal Lake; sisters, Sr. Joseph Marie Jacobsen of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Kathleen (Tom) Benavides of Albuquerque, N. M.; and brothers, Robert (Fran) Jacobsen of El Paso, Texas, William (Jan) Jacobsen of Chula Vista, Calif., and Donald (Ann) Jacobsen of Albuquerque.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m. today, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.

A 15-year Elgin resident, she was a customer service representativefor a photo laboratory.
Surviving are her children Michael, Maryetta (Roger) Wanshek and Kenneth Jr. (Norna); 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, John Kelly; and sister, Chris (Joe) Frey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, in 1976.

Paul Larson formerly of Elgin
Graveside services for Paul Larson, 87, of Dallas, Texas, will be held at 10 a. m. Thursday, at Bluff City Cemetery.
Born Jan. 8, 1912, in Burlington, Iowa, to Peter and Clara (nee Burklund) Larson, he passed away Monday, June 21, 1999, in Dallas.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Larson; sons, James (Krista) Larson of Arkansas, Paul (Ki) Larson of Texas and Gil Larson of Oswego; brother, Carl Larson of Florida;sister, Edith Grenlin; 11 grandchidlren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.

Wayne R. Luecht of Wheeling
Services for Wayne R. Luecht, 47, will be held at 10:30 a. m. Friday, at Our Saviour Evangelical Free Church, 300 Schoenbeck Rd., Wheeling.
Born Aug. 21, 1951, in Chicago, Mr. Luecht died Monday, June 21, 1999, at Loyola Medical Center.
Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
Mr. Luecht lived in Northbrook from age seven to 27. He attended Grace Lutheran School and Glenbrook North High School. A firefighter with the Northbrook Fire Department for 25 years, he had beenthe assistant chief since May 1992.
Survivors include his wife, Terri Luecht, whom he married on June 9, 1979, in Wheeling; sons, Steven and Scott Luecht; parents, Robert and Charlotte Marie (nee Shatto) Luecht; and brothers, Carl (Lori) Luecht and Dwight (Barbara) Luecht.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p. m. Thursday, at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (two blocks south of Dundee Rd.) ,Wheeling, and from 8:30 a. m. until the time of the services Friday, at the church.

Andrew B. `Ben' Lytle of Palatine
Services for Andrew B. `Ben' Lytle, 80, formerly of Mount Prospect, will be held at 10 a. m. Thursday, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road (at Northwest Highway), Mount Prospect.
Born Nov. 26, 1918, in Dallas, Texas, he died Monday, June 21, 1999. Interment will be private.
A World War II veteran, Mr. Lytle had been a captain in the Air Force from Oct. 9, 1942 to Nov. 30, 1945, and flew 225 missions out of New Guinea. After the war, he graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas,with a degree in civil engineering. He then moved to Chicago where he eventually started his own business, Custer Construction Company. Mr. Lytle had lived in the Northwest Suburbs for the past 50 years.
Survivors include his wifeof more than 24 years, Elizabeth `Betty' Lytle; children, Janice (Darryl) Phillips, Deborah (Dan) Gardinier and the late John Douglas Lytle; and grandchildren, Todd, Corey and Michael Phillips, Sarah (John) Kimbell, and Katie andJoe Gardinier.

Peter R. Natzke of Warrenville
Graveside services for Peter R. Natzke, 73, will be held at 11 a. m. Thursday, at Warrenville Cemetery, Warrenville. Rev. David Anderson will officiate.
Born May 17, 1926, in Chicago, Mr. Natzke died Sunday, June 20, 1999, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.
Mr. Natzke was the former owner and publisher of Peter Piper Press in Warrenville. A 47-year Warrenville resident, he received his bachelor's degree from DePaul University in Chicago and his master's degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Hewas an
Army veteran of World War II and a recipient of the Purple Heart. Mr. Natzke was a lifelong member of the Warrenville VFW Post 8081, member of the Warrenville Chamber of Commerce, an avid sports photographer and supporter of athletics at Wheaton-Warrenville High School.
Survivors include his children, Peter Charles Natzke of Houston, Texas, Deborah Ann Natzke of Albuquerque, N. M. and Kathryn (Rick) Durante of San Leandro, Calif.; and grandchildren, Camile and Alex.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara J. Natzke; daughter, Charlotte Natzke; and parents, Rudolph and Frieda Natzke.

Leonard J. Pahlman of Wauconda

Mr. Pahlman had been a resident of Wauconda for 15 years and had worked at Stack-on-Products in Wauconda for seven years.
He was the beloved husband of Joan Pahlman (nee Witt); loving father of Victoria (Robert) Wojcik, Shawn (Robin) Creech, David Pahlman, Valerie (Sherman) Reeves and Leonard J. Pahlman; proud grandfather of Robert J. Wojcik II, Brittani G. Wojcik, Fallon Creech, Charles H. Creech II, Nicole M. Reeves and Johnathan Reeves; cherished son of Dorothy and Leonard Pahlman; dear brother of Louise (Thomas) Mazzenga, Kathy (Lewis) Young, Bonnie (William) Coulter and Jerry L. Pahlman; and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Barbara J. Riedel of Naperville

Born March 8, 1940, in Philadelphia, Pa., she died Sunday, June 20, 1999, at home. Interment will be private.
She had been a resident of Naperville since 1988, moving from Burr Ridge. For many years she worked in retail for Chernin Shoes and Von Maur Department Store in Yorktown Shopping Center.
She was most recently employed by the State of Illinois as a bookkeeper at the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Survivors include her husband, Owen Sam Roberts of Naperville; daughter, Melissa (Jeff) Chrystal of Kalamazoo, Mich.; son, Daniel Cunningham of Downers Grove; sister, Norman (late Edward) Muller of Churchville, Pa.; and grandchildren, Kelsey, Emma and William Chrystal of Kalamazoo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Regina (nee Basalik) Riedel.
