Helen M. Cline of Lake In The Hills
A memorial service for Helen M. Cline, 47, will be held at 7 p. m. Thursday, at Willow Funeral Home, 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., Algonquin.
Born June 21, 1951, in Aurora, she died Saturday, June 19, 1999, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. Interment will be in Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
She was the owner of The Cline Group `Acorn Lodge' in Lake In The Hills and was a member of the Audubon Society andNational Geographic.
Survivors include her brothers, Edward (Holly) Cline of Norman, Okla. and Michael Cline of Champaign, Ill.; very best friend, Kim Simmons; and six nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation will be from 6 to 9 p. m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Josephine L. Daly of St. Charles
A funeral Mass for Josephine L. Daly, 93, will be celebrated at 10 a. m. Thursday, at St. John Neumann Church in St. Charles. Msgr. Robert B. Hoffman will officiate.
Born Dec. 11, 1905, in Chicago, to Antonio and Concetta (nee Pichiotti) Leonardi, she died Monday, June 21, 1999, at her home. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, St. Charles.
During World War II, Mrs. Daly and her husband owned and operated Daly's Restaurant in Aurora. She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in St. Charles, a charter member of the St. Charles Historical Society, and a member of the National Restaurant Association and the Stewards and Caters Association.
Surviving are her sister, Gwen Howard of Arcadia, Calif.; brother, Quinton (Margie) Leonardi of Aurora; andmany nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Daly, in 1946; her parents; sister, SusanReader; and brother, Louis Leonardi.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m. today, at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., St. Charles, with the rosary recited at 7:30 p. m.

Katherine K. Denley of Des Plaines
Services and interment for Katherine Denley (nee Korendat), 76, will be private.
Born May 25, 1923, in Chicago, she died Monday, June 21, 1999, in Park Ridge.
A Des Plaines resident since 1955, Mrs. Denley was a medical secretary for 20 years in the northwest area.
She is survived by her husband of52 years, Russell A. Denley; children, Robert B. (Roberta) Denley of Lake Zurich and Diana D. (late Glenn) Evensonof McHenry; and grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer, Justin, David, Peter and Matthew.
Visitation will be private.

Carl B. Durley of Lake Bluff
Services and interment for Carl B. Durley, 60, will be held in Tylertown, Miss.
Born Jan. 10, 1939, in Tylertown, Mr. Durley died Sunday, June 20, 1999, at Evanston Hospital in Evanston.
A veteran, Mr. Durley had served in the Air Force during the Vietname War. He was employed as a technical writer for Abbott Laboratories.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Shane (Maureen Ava Bugarin) Durley.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Benton Alvin Durley III and Chuck Durley; and parents, Ruby and Benton Alvin Durley II.
Carl was a loving father to his son, Shane, and Shane's wife, Maureen. His life was dedicated to helping people. Although Carl's formal job was a technical writer with Abbott Laboratories, his true occupation of life was that ofa patient and caring teacher to all he loved. He will live forever in the hearts of those he had touched.

Harry N. Etters Sr. formerly of Cary

Born May 23, 1918, in Exland, Wis., the son of George and Kate Etters, he died Sunday, June 20, 1999, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Ky. Burial will be in Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
Mr. Etters was a World War II Air Force veteran. He was past commander of Post #158 American Legion of Barrington. A 60-year member of the Carpenters Union, he was the former owner of the Broken Oar Tavern in Cary.
Survivors include his children, Ronald `Pepper' (Jan) Etters of Vail, Colo., Sandra (Bob) Kuchenbrod of Helena, Mont., Sue (Al) Mitchell of Phoenix, Ariz., Jack (Randy) Etters of Versailles, Ky., David (Sue) Tanzer of Vail, Meg (George) Byrtek of Dundee, Ore., Catherine (Adam Schlagman) Etters of Philadelphia, Pa., and Harry `Buddy' (Lynn) Etters of Plainfield; 21 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, George, Les and Richard Etters; and sisters, Mildred Chabrian, Mae Ketterman and Marian Wright.

Edward A. Ewert formerly of Cary

He was the beloved husband of Beulah Ewert (nee Landingham) of De Kalb; loving father of Kenneth Prock of Dunedin, Fla., Jean (the late Leonard) Jensen of Keewatin, Minn., Mary Lou (Louis) Huszti of Crystal Lake and Marilyn (Clifford) Cleland of De Kalb; and fond grandfather and great-grandfather of many.

Born June 19, 1931, in Libertyville, he passed away Monday, June 21, 1999, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
A Mundelein-Half Day resident all of his life, he went to work as a young man of 14 at Hawthorn Melody Farms in Libertyville. He retired as a truck driver for Rossetti Contracting in Rolling Meadows.
Rich loved the outdoors,
hunting, fishing and especially his garden.

She was the wife of the late Norman; mother of Thomas (Brenda) of Chandler, Ariz. and Patricia (Earl) Burton of Cary; grandmother of Kurt Gutekunst of Wonder Lake, Paul (Gail) Anderson of Cary, Richard Anderson of Cary, Tracey (Walter) Laureta of Crystal Lake Melinda (Todd) Fulton of Crystal Lake; great-grandmother of five; and sister of the late Eleanor Hoeninger and Harold Geuder.

Mrs. Hachtel was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of East Dundee.
Surviving are her sons, Charles E. (Luann) Hachtel of East Dundee and Donald R. Hachtel of West Dundee; granddaughters, Cindy (Doug) Morrison of Hampshire and Susan (Mark) Heining of Prior Lake, Minn.; grandson, Bradley (Laurie) Hachtel of Phoenix, Ariz.; great-grandchildren, Joel, Abbey and Luci Morrison, and Katie, Mollie and Scott Heining; and many nieces and nephews.
