Donald E. Syrek of Brookfield
A memorial service for Donald E. Syrek, 36, will be held at 11 a. m. Wednesday, at Faith Lutheran Church. The Rev. Eric Deffenbaugh will officiate.
Born Jan. 18, 1963, in Chicago, he died Monday, June 21, 1999, at his home.
Mr. Syrek had been employed as a senior systems developer.
He was the husband of Luanne Syrek of Brookfield; father of Frank and Mark Syrek; son of Lillian J. Syrek and the late Ernest B. Syrek;brother of Judith (Robert) Hornback and Deborah (Barry) Syrek-Damon; son-in-law of William and Jo Ann McCleary; brother-in-law of Bruce McCleary, Julie (John) Starasinich, and Jay (Jamie) McCleary; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. today, at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd., 9445 W. 31st St., Brookfield.

Peter Charles Tatooles of Wauconda
Services for Peter Charles Tatooles, 21, will be held at 10 a. m. Wednesday, at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 133 S. Roselle Road, Palatine.
Born April 20, 1978, in Chicago, hedied Saturday, June 19, 1999, at Carbondale Memorial Hospital, Carbondale, Ill. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove.
Peter had been a resident of Wauconda for eight years and was a 1996 graduate of Wauconda High School, where he had excelled in track and basketball. Recently he had completed his third year at North Central College in Naperville. Among his special interests, he was an avid fisherman.
He was the beloved son of Charles and Connie (nee Kazakos) Tatooles; dearest brother of Perry Tatooles; cherished grandson of Catherine and the late Perry Kazakos, and Sara and the late Peter J. Tatooles; dear nephew of John A. (Doris) Tatooles and James P. (the late Helen) Tatooles; and fond cousin of Peter J. (Angela), Kristy, Dean J. and Jennie Tatooles.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. today, at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda.
Memorials may be made to the Peter C. Tatooles Memorial Fund, 55 N. Smith St., Palatine, IL 60067.

Arnold P. Thrun of South Elgin
Services for Arnold P. Thrun, 76, will be held at 10 a. m. Wednesday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin. The Rev. Dominic Cassidy will officiate.
Born Jan. 5, 1923, in Dundee, to Herman and Ida (nee Fischer) Thrun, he passed away Monday, June 21, 1999, at his home. Burial will be in Washington Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery, Elgin.
Mr. Thrun had been a resident of South Elgin for most of his life. Prior to his retirement, he had worked for Lamp Construction Company for more than 30 years. He was an avid bird watcher, enjoying their everyday life.
Surviving are his wife, Edith Thrun (nee Nielsen), whom he married Aug. 10,1946; children, Arnold E. (Jo Nell) Thrun of Missouri, Barbara (Donald) Angellotti of South Elgin, Thomas (Joan) Thrun of Massachusetts, Deborah (Alvin) Clardy of California and Cheryl Simonsen of St.
Charles; 20 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Rose Leighty of Hampshire.
He was preceded in deathby his parents, and three brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p. m. today, and from 9 a. m. until the time of services at 10 a. m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Margaret E. Wagner
Services for Margaret W. Wagner (nee Nicolai) will be held at 9 a. m. Wednesday, at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
She was the mother of Joan (William) Duke and Gene (Jill) Wagner; grandmother of Joanne (Al) Stoll; sister of Helen (late Glenn) Thoren, Edward (June) Nicolai, Herbert (Betty) Nicolai and the late Edna (late Bill) Husband; and aunt of many.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. today, at the funeral chapel.

Zachery Allen Williams of Round Lake Park
Services for Zachery Allen Williams, a 30-day old infant, will be held at 1 p. m. Wednesday, at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake. Rev. Lisle J. Kauffman will officiate.
Born May 22, 1999, at Highland Park Hospital, he passed away Monday, June 21, 1999, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Libertyville.
He leaves his parents, Tina Nicholas and Richard Williams of Round Lake Park; sister, Summer; brother, Kyle;maternal grandparents, Jerry (Natalie) Moynihan and paternal grandparents, Raymon (Beverly) Mejia, all of Round Lake Beach; grandfather, Franklin Williams of Des Plaines; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends ofthe family may visit from 11 a. m. until the time of the services Wednesday, at the funeral chapel.
Memorials may begiven to the family in memory of Zachery.

Loretta D. Yager (nee Davis), 82, of Elk Grove Village, died Sunday, June 20, 1999. Arrangements were made by Grove Memorial Chapel, Elk Grove Village, Elk Grove Village, (847) 640-0566.

Robert J. Ziskal of McHenry
A memorial service for Robert J. Ziskal, 83, will be held at 3 p. m. Friday, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 404 N. Green St., McHenry. Rev. Charles Miller will officiate.
Born April 23, 1916, in Cicero, the son of Frank J. and Bessie (nee Torpe) Ziskal, he died Friday, June 18, 1999, at home.
Interment will be private.
He was a former employee of Illinois Tool Works of Elgin, Shake Proof Division. He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, the Chicago Federation of Musicians Local 10-208 and the CrystalLake Seniors Club.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor (nee LaBuda) Ziskal of McHenry, whom he married on Feb. 14, 1942, in Chicago; daughter, Lynn (Ron) Reeves of Elgin; son, Alan (Carey) Ziskal of Palatine; grandchildren, Michael, Katie and Vicki Reeves, and Jennifer Ziskal; great-grandchild, Morgan Reeves; sister-in-law and brother-in-law,Beverly and Harold Kramer of Chicago; and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant sons, Curtis and Robert Ziskal Jr.; brother, Joseph; and grandson, Mathew.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 S. Hager Ave., Barrington, IL 60010 or Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.

Carrie Ann Banks of Wood Dale
Funeral services for Carrie Ann Banks, 19, will be held at 8 p. m. today, at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E. Irving Park Road, Itasca.
Born Dec. 24, 1979, in Park Ridge, she died Saturday, June 19, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Elk Grove Village. Interment will be private.
Survivorsinclude her parents, Steven and Darlene Banks; siblings, Joseph Anthony and Nicole Banks; grandmother, Virginia Banks; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. today, with services at 8 p. m., at the funeral home.

Ricardo Barrett of Elgin
Services for Ricardo Barrett, 48, will be held at 1 p. m. Thursday, at Living Gospel Church of God in Christ in Elgin.
Born Feb. 4, 1951, in Elgin, to Robert and Elliant (nee West) Barrett, he passed away Friday, June 18, 1999, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Interment will be private.
A lifelong resident of Elgin, Mr. Barrett was a member of Living Gospel Church of God in Christ and a former Elgin police officer. Most recently he was employed for Arthur Anderson Consulting. A veteran, Mr. Barrett had served in the Army in Germany.
Survivors include his daughter, Rhiannon Barrett of Elgin; son, R. David Barrett of Arizona; grandson, Xavier Medina of Elgin; parents, Robert and Elliant Barrett; sisters, Jante Evon Cox of Wisconsin, Bobbie Graves of Elgin and Shawana Barrett of Chicago; and brothers, Mervin Barrett of Elgin and Chauncey Barrett of Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Terrie Barrett, and nephew, Shawn Barrett.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements were made by Madison Funeral Home, Elgin.

Harold F. Benson of Mount Prospect
Services for Harold F. Benson, 92, will be held at 1 p. m. Thursday, at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy., Arlington Heights.
Born June 22, 1907, in Rockford, he died Monday, June 22, 1999, at Hampton Plaza Nursing Home in Niles. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
A retired foreman in tool and die manufacturing, he is survived by his wife, Ethel (nee Johnson) Benson; children, Sally (Ronald) Pitner and James (Denise) Benson; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be from 11 a. m. until the time of the services Thursday, at the funeral home.
Memorials may bemade to the Chicago Heart Association.

Winifred Blatchley (nee Russell), 86, of Beacon Hill in Lombard, formerly of Joliet, died Tuesday, June 22. Arrangements were made by Brust Funeral Home, Lombard, (630) 629-0094.

Joseph R. `Joe' Ciezki formerly of Des Plaines
A memorial service for Joseph R. `Joe' Ciezki, 43, of Palatine, will be held at a later date.
Born June 9, 1956, in Chicago, he died suddenly Monday, June 21, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare.
He worked for Komet of America for 10 years, as a C. N. C. machinist.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Donna; daughter, Lauren Ciezki; parents, Raymond and Barbara Ciezki; brothers, Michael (Renee) and Ted Ciezki; in-laws, Robert and Theresa Kula; sister-in-law, Lori (Joey) Majchrowicz; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. today, at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.

William Willis Clark of Grayslake
Services for William Willis Clark, 79, will be held at 11 a. m. Thursday, at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake.
Rev. Judith Wang, pastor of United Protestant Church in Grayslake, will officiate.
Born Jan. 29, 1920, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, he passed away Sunday, June 20, 1999, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Entombment will be in Highland MemorialPark Cemetery, Libertyville.
A 44-year Grayslake resident, Mr. Clark was employed as a heavy equipment welder with Hough International Harvester at the Libertyville plant for more than 24 years, retiring in 1982. He was a volunteer scripture reader affiliated with Hillcrest Nursing Home in Round Lake for many years.
He leaves his son, Robert (Florence E.) Clark of Spring Grove; grandchildren, Robert (Karen) of Streamwood, Dawn (Bryan) Martin of Clemmons, N. C. and Joseph (Kelly) Clark of Trevor, Wis.; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Larry and Richard; and wife, Rose.
Friends of the family may visit from 6 to 9 p. m. today, at the funeral chapel.
