Cecelia M. Janik of Plainfield
Services for Cecelia M. Janik (nee Morvay), 81, formerly of Chicago and Westmont, will begin with prayers at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Overman-Jones Funeral Home, 309 Joliet Road, Plainfield, and continue with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 129 S. Division St., Plainfield. The Rev. Tony Nugent will officiate.
Born March 18, 1918, in Chicago, she died Saturday, June 12, 1999, at Lakewood Nursing Center, Plainfield. Interment will be in St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery, Plainfield.
Mrs. Janik had been a resident of Plainfield since 1990 and had attended St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church of Plainfield. Prior to that she had been a resident of Westmont from 1971 to 1990.
An avid Cubs fan, she was known to watch two televisions at one time so she wouldn't miss the game.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Maurice) Wilson of Peoria, Ariz.; son, Rick (Sue) Janik of Plainfield; grandchildren, Kelli (Shawn) Campbell of Salado, Texas, Michelle (Chad) Verna of Peoria, Ariz., Kristie Wilson of Peoria, Ariz., Richard (Chris) Janik of North Liberty, Iowa, and Marcie Janik of Plainfield; great-grandchildren, Courtney, Cassie and Kaley Campbell, Dillion Verna, and Timmy and Aubry Wilson; sisters, Sr.
Magdalita Morvay of Louisville, Ohio, and Gerry (Jim) Sellers of Gila Bend, Ariz.; and brothers, Ray Morvay of Cary and Frank (Gloria) Morvay of Niles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Janik, in May 1998; and her parents, Frank and Stella Morvay.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Mary A. Kelly of Round Lake Park
Graveside services for Mary A. Kelly (nee Wynne), 71, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Windridge Memorial Park Cemetery, 7014 S. Rawson Bridge Road, Cary.
Born June 9, 1928, in Chicago, she died Sunday, June 13, 1999, at Hampton Plaza Nursing Home, Niles. Interment will follow the services.
A homemaker, she was the wife of Merle Kelly of Round Lake Park; mother of Brian (Connie) Kelly and Dawn (Charles) Burke, both of Round Lake Park; and 10 grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mary A. Kinsey of Waukegan
A funeral Mass for Mary A. Kinsey (nee Jerina), 90, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today, at Queen of Peace Church, 910-14th St., North Chicago.
Born Aug. 11, 1908, in Bradley, Ill., she passed away Friday, June 11, 1999, at Terrace Nursing Home. Interment will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Gerald) Gust of Waukegan; son, Fred (Mary) Sebben of Grayslake; brothers, Fritz (Frances) Jerina and Frank (Frances) Jerina; sisters, Emma Merlock, Sophie Mivshek, Jennie Mulligan, Frances (Bill) Hemersbach and Anne (Tony) Lesnak; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Kinsey, in 1972; and first husband, Guido Sebben.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass today, at the church.

Nick Longo of Prospect Heights
Services for Nick Longo, 77, formerly a longtime resident of Berwyn, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Cumberland Baptist Church, 1500 E. Central Road, Mount Prospect, where he will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
Born Aug. 25, 1921, in Chicago, he died Thursday, June 10, 1999, in Prospect Heights. Interment will be in Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Mr. Longo was a retired supervisor for a spring factory. A veteran, he had served in the
Army during World War II.
He was the husband of Doris J. Longo (nee Wagler); father of Howard J. (Marie) and Nicholas J. Longo; grandfather of Kevin J. and Elizabeth J. Longo; brother of James (Regina) Longo, Salavatore (Bernice) Longo, Josephine Bengel, Madeline (the late Walter) Cwik, and the late Joseph (Margaret) Longo and Anthony (Josephine) Longo; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Road, Mount Prospect.

Services for Jane Maas, 85, of Elgin, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin. Reverend Thomas Niermann will officiate.
Born Aug. 18, 1913, in Elk Grove Village, the daughter of Frank and Gertrude Schnell Busse, she passed away Friday, June 11, 1999, at St. Joseph Hospital. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Elgin, the Elgin Business and Professional Women's Club, the Elgin Women's Club, American Legion Auxiliary #0075 and V. F. W. Auxiliary # 1307.
Survivors include her sister, Verdell Young of St. Charles; sisters-in-law, Margaret Busse and Eulalia Busse, both of Arlington Heights; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred; brothers, LaVern Busse, Earl Busse and Frank Busse Jr.; and sister, Elaine Klabunde.

She was the wife of Peter Macialek; mother of Charles Rodriguez, Peter M. Macialek Jr., Dora (Luis) Castellanos, Lydia (Samuel) Rios and Alice (Ralph) Pennighton; grandmother of 12; great-grandmother of 24; and great-great-grandmother of four. She was also the sister of Amada Cipreano, Josefa Anis, Paul Flores, Danial (Della) Flores and David Flores; aunt of many nieces and nephews; and cousin of many.

A 20-year resident of Des Plaines, she was a homemaker and a member of St. Stephen Church.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Joseph Moek; children, Ken Byrdy of Chicago, Peter Byrdy of Seattle, Joe Moek of Des Plaines and Linda Clemons of Chicago; and sisters, Florence Graff, Mary Gero, Rose Pettus, Shirley Yott, Joan Lecuyer and Marthann Liosis.

Born Dec. 24, 1942, in Kokomo, Ind., to Harold Eugene and Mildred Louise (nee Cardwell) Nead, she died Saturday, June 12, 1999, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Entombment will follow the services, in Windridge Cemetery, Cary.
Surviving are her husband, Donald L. Nead of Crystal Lake, whom she married Nov. 3, 1962, in Galveston, Ind.; daughters, Tina (Jayson) Sigmon of Mauston, Wis., and Julie (John) Wallace of Cary; grandchildren, Nicole Steinmetz, Scotti Steinmetz, Jenna Wallace and Jillian Wallace; and sisters, Janyce Kelper of Kokomo and Franjean Oldham of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her mother.

Frances E. Nilsson of Elk Grove Village
Services for Frances E. Nilsson (nee Clark), 84, will be heldat 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Road (three blocks south of Biesterfield Road), Elk Grove Village.
Born in Kankakee, she died Saturday, June 12, 1999, at her home. Interment will be private, in Acacia Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Nilsson had been a resident of Elk Grove Village for 35 years. She had worked as a school bus driver for 20 years for District 214 and Clearbrook, prior to her retirement, and was also the former owner of Harry's Snack Bar in Elk Grove Village. She was a member of the Bucks and Does Square Dance Club and the Elk Grove Senior Center.
She was the beloved wife of the late Harry E. Nilsson, who died in 1988; loving mother of Ronald E. (Frances) Nilsson, Joanne M. (Richard) Armstrong and Marlene E. (Dennis) Migasi; dear sister of Mary (Jim) Pullen, Beatrice Martin, Jean Neal and the late Gerald and Jimmy Clark; cherished grandmother of 14; great-grandmother of 17; and great-great-grandmother of one.

He was the beloved husband of Betsy; dear father of Neil; brother of Bruce (Mari) and the late Donald; and son of the late Shujitsu and Tsuruko.

William E. O'Brien formerly of Dundee and Elgin
A memorial Mass for William E. O'Brien will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 19, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 845 West Main St., West Dundee.
Mr. O'Brien of Naples, Fla., died Thursday, March 18, 1999.
Born in Boston, Mass., he received a B. A. degree from Boston College, class of 1925, and an M. E. degree from New York University in 1933. Hewas a winter resident of Naples since 1974 and a permanent resident since August 1989.
Mr. O'Brien was employed by the Toastmaster Division of McGraw Edison Company, retiring in 1958, as vice president of sales and advertising. Hewas very active in the Elgin community having served as a director of the Association of Commerce, general chairman of the Community Chest, president of Catholic Charities, and president of Elgin Country Club. During his business career, he was vice president and director of National Housewares Manufacturers Association and director of National Electric Manufacturers Association.
In 1958 he became president of Sunbeam Electric Puerto Rico, San Juan, Puerto Rico until the company was dissolved in 1965. Returning to Elgin, he served as executive director of the Economic Development Commission from 1967 to 1969.
Mr. O'Brien was a founder and chairman of The Anvil Club in Dundee. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Naples and Wyndemere Country Club, a Paul Harris Fellowof Rotary International, BPOE 2010 (Elks), former member of the Union League Club in Chicago, Berwin Country Club, Dorado Beach Club of Puerto Rico and president of the Elgin Country Club.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Patricia Ann Moylan of Encino, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Since his death, his sister, Katherine Marston of Belfast, Maine, has died.
He was preceded in death by his dear wife of 67 years, Irene; and brother, Paul S. O'Brien of Baton Rouge, La.
