Nellie Ethel Appleby formerly of Elk Grove Village
Services for Nellie Ethel Appleby (nee Goodwin), 85, of Bensenville, will be held at 7:30 p.m. today, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd. (three blocks south of Biesterfield Rd.), Elk Grove Village. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Born in Fairmont, Ill., she died Thursday, June 3, 1999, at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, from a heart attack. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery.
Nellie was retired from Illinois Bell Telephone Company where she had worked from 1947 until 1975. Everyone who knew Nellie will remember her kind and independent spirit and `feisty' personality.
Her sense of humor helped get her and her family through some very difficult times.
Survivors include her children, Leo (Pat) Appleby and Darlene (Jack) Power; grandchildren, Ed, Pat, Pam, Peggy, John, Brian, Linda, Deborah and Mike; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Louis, Samantha, Steven, T. J., Tina, Brandon, Jacki, Tyler, Alex, Derek and Rachel; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Madeline `Madge' Bieniarz of Libertyville
A funeral Mass for Madeline `Madge' Bieniarz (nee Friello), 60, formerly of Northbrook, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple, Libertyville.
Born Jan. 13, 1939, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, June 2, 1999, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Entombment will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
A 31-year Libertyville resident, Mrs. Bieniarz had been an office manager and was a member of St. Joseph Parish.
She was the wife of Richard D. ; mother of Richard of Vernon Hills, Victoria Bieniarz of Libertyville and the late Anthony `Tony'; sister of Allen (Marian) Friello of Antioch, Carissa (Frank) Bruno of Vernon Hills and the late Pauline (Edward) Stephans; grandmother of Sarah (Angel) Rosado, Jennifer andHeather; and great-grandmother of Angel Luis Rosado.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville.
Capt. Richard W. Buschmann of Naperville
Funeral services for Capt. Richard W. Buschmann, 48, achief pilot for American Airlines, will be held at 5 p.m. today, at Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 1451 Raymond Drive, Naperville. The Rev. Gerald Carnes will officiate.
Born July 2, 1950, in Amityville, N. Y., he died Wednesday, June 2, 1999, in Little Rock, Ark. Interment will be in the Air Force Academy Cemetery, Colorado Springs, Colo.
Capt. Buschmann was a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and, in addition, had received a master's degree from Michigan State University. A pilot for American Airlines since 1979, he was also a lieutenant colonel in theAir Force Reserve and a commander and liaison for the Air Force Academy for the State of Illinois. Capt. Buschmannhad been a resident of Naperville for the past 14 years and was a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene. He wasalso a runner and had participated in several marathons.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Buschmann; children, Bethany and Evan; father, Warren Buschmann of San Dimas, Calif. ; stepmother, Betty Buschmann of San Dimas; sister, Susan Bothwell of Toronto, Canada; brother, Robert Buschmann of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. ; two stepsisters; and one stepbrother.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Caroline Buschmann.
There will be no visitation.

Peter J. Camino of Mundelein
A Mass of Christian Burial for Peter J. Camino, 71, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Mary of Vernon Church.
Born Feb. 23, 1928, in Chicago, he died Thursday, June 3, 1999, at Lake Forest Hospital Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
A resident of Mundelein for 18 years, he was a 27-year employee of Bankers Life and Casualty. He enjoyed music and sang with the Paulist Choir at St. Mary's in Chicago and later with Choral Dynamics of Mundelein. He was an avid golfer and had a passion for cooking andhad a wonderful sense of humor.
Survivors include his dear friend, Vernice Lindskog of Mundelein; children, Kathleen (William) O'Brien of Glenview and Kevin Camino of Des Plaines; brother, Paul (Connie) Chiumino of Michigan; niece, Ann Chiumino, also of Michigan; and grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kelly.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the Kristan Funeral Home, P. C., 219 W. Maple Ave. (Route 176), Mundelein.

Born Oct. 15, 1912, in Milano Buscate, Italy, he died Wednesday, June 2, 1999, at Beverly Healthcare Center in Lakeland.
Interment will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Naperville.
Mr. Colombo was a member of St. Joseph Church in Lakeland and past grand knight of the Detroit Knights of Columbus Council 3191.
Survivors include his wife, Clara (Battani); children, Louis J. (Marie) Colombo of Vestal, N. Y., Robert A. (Loretta) Colombo of Atlanta, Ga. and Sharon A. (Aldo) Presutti of Naperville; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and cousin, John Miramonti of Harbor Woods, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Caroline Colombo.

Tommy Loren Czerniejewski of Arlington Heights

Leo F. Ehrlich of Island Lake Private funeral services were held for Leo F. Ehrlich, 82, a 40-year resident of Island Lake.
Born Aug. 1, 1916, in Chicago, he passed away Wednesday, June 2, 1999, at the Claremont Rehabilitation and Living Center in Buffalo Grove. Interment was in Transfiguration Cemetery, Wauconda.
Before retiring, Mr. Ehrlich had been a carpenter and a member of the Chicago District Council of Carpenters. He was also a memberof the Wauconda Lions Club and the Moose Lodge in McHenry.
He was the husband of the late Irene J. Ehrlich; father of Judy (John) Janus of Wauconda and Ronald Ehrlich of Wauconda; grandfather of five; and great-grandfather of four.
Masses in his memory would be appreciated.

Jack S. Foster formerly of Round Lake

Born July 21, 1927, in Chicago, he passed away Wednesday, June 2, 1999, at Bay Pines Veterans Administration Medical Center in Florida. Interment will follow the services, in Avon Centre Cemetery, Grayslake.
Mr. Foster had resided in Chicago for 20 years andthe Round Lake area for more than 20 years, and had retired to Florida six years ago. A veteran, he had served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Robert D. Clark Post #1205 of Bensenville. He had been employed with Twin Orchard Country Club for several years.
He leaves his children, Jack and Jeff Foster, Joyce (Pete) Morales and Janet (Dan) Di Silvestro; sister, Beverly (Zen) Zaro; brother, Studley Foster; former wives, Joan Perille and Carmella Foster; seven grandchildren; six stepchildren; and 11 stepgrandchildren.
Friends may visit from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral chapel.

Jane R. Hendrickson of Mundelein
Services for Jane R. Hendrickson, 73, formerly of Deerfield and Highland Park, will be held at 3 p.m. today, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville. Rev. James D. Christensen will officiate.
Born Sept. 1, 1925, in Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. Hendrickson passed away Wednesday, June 2, 1999, at Provena St. Therese Medical Center in Waukegan.
She was a 1943 graduate of Highland Park High School and a Mundelein resident for the past 38 years. Jane was a former member of the Waukegan Yacht Club, the Waukegan Power Squadron and St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Mundelein.
Surviving are her daughter, Lisa Hendrickson (Michael Cox) and granddaughter, Molly Cox, all of North Barrington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph B. and Miriam Ritter; son, Allan on June 17, 1985; and husband, Carl on Feb. 16, 1989.

Born June 25, 1971, in Chicago, he died Sunday, May 30, 1999, in Florida. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
Mr. Combs was a cellular system technician for Nextel in their Southeast Florida Region. He was a graduate of St. Theresa's, Fremd High School and the University of Missouri - Rolla.
He was the cherished son of Jim and Christine (nee McAteer) Combs; loving fiance of Milagros Ubaldo; dear brother of Megan (Mark) Combs-Polzin; and beloved grandson of Goldie Combs. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in the United States, Canada and Ireland.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul Dean Combs, and Michael and Christine McAteer; and uncle, Desmond McAteer.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
