Services for William J. McDonough, 76, formerly of Glenview, will be held at 2 p. m. Friday, at McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville.
Born May 8, 1922, inChicago, he died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at Winchester House. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie.
Aretired policeman for the Village of Glenview, he was a life member of the Illinois Policeman's Association and served in the Coast Guard during World War II.
He was the father of Michael McDonough of Glenview; and brother of Betty Schaefer of Libertyville.

Bryan J. Metsig of Barrington
Services for Bryan J. Metsig, 28, will be held at 11 a. m. Wednesday, at Willow Creek Chapel, South Barrington.
Born Nov. 22, 1970, in Arlington Heights, he died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, in Nashville, Ind. Burial will be private.
A driver for a limousine service, he was the beloved husband of Rachelle (nee Gillette); devoted son of John and Gail Metsig and Dawn Tucker; brother of Richard (Sylvia) Metsig and Nicole and Lauren Metsig; and uncle of four nieces and nephews.

Carolyn L. Myers formerly of Carol Stream
Memorial services for Carolyn L. Myers, 29, most recently of Glen Ellyn, will be held at 4 p. m. Wednesday, at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 250 N. Gary Ave., Carol Stream.
Born Jan. 13, 1969, in Jacksonville, Fla., she died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at Glen Oaks Medical Center, Glendale Heights. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday, at Naperville Cemetery, with the Rev. Martha Hill officiating.
Ms. Myers was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Carol Stream. She was currently attending the College of DuPage and was employed with M. W. McDonald Company in Wood Dale.
Survivors include her son, Joshua Walker of Naperville; former husband, David Walker of Naperville; parents, William and Katherine Myers of Fort Worth, Texas; brothers, William (Michele) Myers Jr. of Winfield; David Myers of Dallas, Texas, Adam Myers of Fort Worth and Jason Myers of Benbrook, Texas; sister, Bethany (James) Olinger of Benbrook; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Edwards of Fort Worth; paternal grandmother, Thelma Ingold of Crocker, Mo.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Robert J. O'Shanna formerly of Park Ridge
Memorial services for Robert J. O'Shanna, 69, most recentlyof Hot Springs Village, Ark., will be held at 10 a. m. Friday, at St. Philip's Episcopal Church, 342 E. Wood St., Palatine.
Born March 30, 1929, in Chicago, he died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hot Springs, Ark.
Burial will be private, in Hot Springs Village.
Mr. O'Shanna had been employed as the director of service forthe Stewart Warner Corporation for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Kathleen O'Shanna; son, Dick (Debbie) O'Shanna of Niles; daughter, Denise (Bob) Harvey of Rolling Meadows; grandchildren, Ryan, Kaitlin, Kyle and Luke O'Shanna and Jonathan Harvey; and sister, Janie (Ken) Jenssen of Rolling Meadows.

Agnes Polheber of Des Plaines
A funeral Mass for Agnes Polheber (nee Janowski), 77, of Des Plaines, will be celebrated at 10 a. m. Friday, at St. Stephen Church.
Born Nov. 4, 1921, in Radom, Ill., she died Jan. 3, 1999, at home. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
A resident of Des Plaines for 50 years, Mrs. Polheber had worked as a seamstress and had also been an election judge since 1962. She volunteered her time as a Girl Scout leader and was also very active at St. Stephen Church as a minister of care and a sacristan and member of the Altar and Rosary Society. In addition, she was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order.
Survivors include her sons, Richard (Judith) Polheber of Tucson, Ariz. and Jim (Mary) Polheber of Bartlett; daughters, Christine (Charles) DeLos Santos of Des Plaines, Terry Polheber of Des Plaines, Patricia (Barry) Janetski of Dundee and Veronica (Dennis) Toth of Princeton, Ill.; brothers, Stanley (Lorraine) Janowski of DuBois, Ill. and Leonard (Bernice) Janowski of Scheller, Ill.; sister, Regina (Calvin) Smith of Panama City, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Polheber; and one grandchild.

She was the wife of the late John Posch; mother of Lorraine (Warner) Rulien, Caroline (Bernard) Dusck and the late John Posch Jr.; grandmother of five; great-grandmother of seven; and great-great-grandmother of one.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Thomas A. Salata, 62, formerly of North Chicago and Waukegan, will be held at 10 a. m. Thursday, at St. Patrick Catholic Church (new church), Wadsworth.
Born Dec. 3, 1936, in Waukegan, he died Monday, Jan. 4, 1999, at home as he wished. Interment will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and retired from Alltech in Bannockburn.
He issurvived by his loving wife, Dolores (nee Zupan); daughter, Pamela (David) Vakos of Wadsworth; sons, Mark (Bridgete) of Kenosha, Wis. and Jefferson of Wadsworth; sisters, Dolores (Tom) Piarulli of Caladonia, Wis., Josephine Eubank of Phoenix, Ariz. and Loretta (John) Urh of Waukegan; several grandchildren; and one foster daughter.

Thomas Lee Sauer formerly of Wheaton

Mr. Sauer was a third generation owner of Sauer Electric in Wheaton, founded in 1908.
He was the beloved husband of Joan Sauer (nee Rundle); loving father of Cullen (Michelle), Pamela (William) Mudra, Cynthia (Donald) Emma and Scott Connelly; and devoted son of Leone and the late Ralph Sauer.
A memorial visitation will be held from 10 a. m. until the time of services at 11 a. m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
