Victoria Rose Mittlestedt of Cary
A funeral Mass for Victoria Rose Mittlestedt, age 2, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Cary.
Born July 30, 1996, in Arlington Heights, the daughter of Charles and Judy (nee Krammen) Mittlestedt, she died Wednesday, May 12, 1999, at Iron County General Hospital in Iron River, Mich. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Fox River Grove.
She is also survived by her brother, CharlesMittlestedt Jr. of Fox Lake; paternal grandmother, Doris Mittlestedt of Stambaugh, Mich.; and maternal grandparents, Edwin and Adelaide Krammen of DeBary, Fla.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, at Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary.

Lloyd Michael Pekelsma of Lake Villa
A memorial visitation for Lloyd Michael Pekelsma, 88, willbe held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake.
Born Sept. 11, 1910, in Chicago, he passed away Friday, May 14, 1999. Interment will be private.
Mr. Pekelsma was a 1927 graduate of Lindblom High School, and received his bachelor of science degree in 1934 and his masters degree in physical education in 1940, both from Purdue University, where he lettered in football. He served as a lieutenant commander in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War and in the Naval reserves. He coached theGreat Lakes Blue Jackets football team in 1952. He taught and coached football at Allentown Preparatory School from 1934 to 1935, taught and coached at Bowen High School, taught and coached baseball at Chicago Vocational High School in 1973, and played professional football in Wilkes Barre, Pa. from 1934 to 1935.
Survivors include his sister, Margie Spegon; sons, Mike (Linda), Glenn and Nick (Carmen) Pekelsma; daughters, Judy (James) Pawlak and Jean (Allan) Reckamp; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Pekelsma;and daughters, Ruth and Gloria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation, 4351 GardenCity Drive, Landover, MD 20785-2267.

Judith `Judy' Rittgarn of Naperville
Funeral services for Judith `Judy' Rittgarn (nee Bakken), 55, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Toon Funeral Home, 4920 Main St., Downers Grove.
Interment will be in Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
Although Judy fought a courageous battle against multiple sclerosis for 35 years, her familyand friends will remember that she faced every day with a smile.
She was the beloved wife of Fred Rittgarn; loving daughter of Leonard and Irene Bakken of Kingman, Ariz.; cherished mother of Jeffery L. (Karen L. ), Cynthia E., Sandra L. and Susan E. (Allen); devoted grandmother of Nicholas, Kyle, Lee and Drew; dear sister of Ronald Lee (Joan) Bakken; and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
Memorials to the Chicago - Greater Illinois Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 600 S. Federal St., Suite 204, Chicago, IL 60605, would be appreciated.

Richard F. Schoepke of Arlington Heights
Services for Richard F. Schoepke, 77, will begin with prayers at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, and continue with Mass at 9:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights.
Born Dec. 27, 1921, in Arlington Heights, he died Friday, May 14, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery, Lake Street Frontage Road, Elmhurst.
A lifelong resident of Arlington Heights, Mr. Schoepke served in the Navy during World War II and continuedin the service for 25 years, including time in the Reserves. He retired from the Daily Herald after more than 38 years of service and had also worked for Willard Typesetters, Inc., located in Chicago. After his retirement, he worked for Glenbrook Patrol Service, Inc., as well as Glenview Naval Air Station Golf Course.
Surviving are his wife of48 years, Jane Schoepke (nee Einweck); sons, Daniel (Frances) Schoepke of Geneva, Jeffrey Schoepke of Palatine, Mark (Gail) Schoepke of Palatine and Kevin (Molly) Schoepke of Algonquin; daughters, Patricia Henderson of Schaumburg, Geri Schoepke of Schaumburg, Mary (Ronald) Benner of Wheaton, Ellen Schoepke of Arlington Heights and Eileen (Randy) Arosen of Crystal Lake; grandchildren, Jason (Kim) Schoepke, Brian (Becki) Schoepke, Heather Henderson, Kim Henderson, Brandon Schoepke, Joseph Schoepke, Rachael Benner, Theresa Benner, Zachary Benner, Kyle Arosen, Callie Arosen, Cayla Arosen and Lauren Schoepke; great-grandchildren, Amber Henderson and Sara Henderson; brothers and sisters, Willard (Millie) Schoepke of Westchester, Bill (Kay) Schoepke of Arlington Heights, Eleanor Schoepke of Arlington Heights, Lorraine (Marty) Fanz of Mesa, Ariz., and Dorothy Gehrig of Arlington Heights; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Richard William; parents, William and Amanda Schoepke; brothers, Arthur and Milton Schoepke; and sisters, Mildred Busse, Lillian Winkelhake and Florence Kitchenmeister.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to a charity of donor's choice.

Reginald `Bud' Simeon Jr. of Inverness
Prayers for Reginald `Bud' Simeon Jr., 67, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Palatine.
Born March 28, 1932, in LeMars, Iowa, he died Friday, May 14, 1999, in Arlington Heights. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
Mr. Simeon was an usher at St. Theresa Church and served during the Korean War in the Army.
He is survived by his wife, Joan (nee LaTinis); sons, Scott (Wendy) Simeon, Wade (Laura) Simeon, Cole (Candace) Simeon and Matthew (Irene) Simeon; daughters, Melinda (Eric) Monson, Monica (Talon) Thornton and Erin Simeon; and 15 grandchildren.
He was a devoted husband, loving father and dear grandfather.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.

Bohdan Tymciurak of Naperville since 1967
Memorial services for Bohdan Tymciurak, 77, will be held at7 p.m. today, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Additional services will be held Monday at 10:15 a.m. at St. Andrew Ukranian Orthodox Church, 300 E. Army Trail Road, Bloomingdale.
Born April 22, 1922, in Stanyslaviv, Ukraine, he died Wednesday, May 12, 1999, at Edward Hospital, Naperville. Interment will bein Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove.
Mr. Tymciurak survived polio, which he contracted at age six, and went on to recieve his mechanical engineering degree from the University of Graz in Austria. He immigrated to the United States in 1949 and married his wife, Tamara, on Aug. 4, 1951. Mr. Tymciurak worked for Ford Motor Company in Chicago during the Korean War, developing jet engines.
An analytical engineer, Mr. Tymciurak worked for many companies over the years, the last being Clark Equipment in Aurora and Barnes and Reinecke Company in Elmhurst, designing cranes and other heavy industrial equipment. He retired in 1987. Mr. Tymciurak was a founding member of St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Church and sang in the choir.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Dr. Tamara Tymciurak of Naperville; son, Yarko (Olya) Tymciurak of Naperville; granddaughter, Veeka Tymciurak of Naperville; sister, Daria Nahirniak of Milwaukee; and niece, Dr. Laryssa Kaufman of Lansing, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Helen Tymciurak.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Shriner's Burns Institute, Attn: Fiscal Services, 3229 Burnett Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229-3095 or the charity of your choice which benefits ill, injured or battered children.

Melba A. Vogelmann of Elgin
Private funeral services for Melba A. Vogelmann, 91, will be held Tuesday, at Laird Funeral Home, Elgin.
Born Dec. 29, 1907, in Hampshire, the daughter of Herman and Mary Martens Thrun, she died Friday, May 14, 1999, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital. Burial will be in River Valley Memorial Gardens, West Dundee.
She had been a resident of Elgin all of her life, and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church of Elgin.
Survivors include her son, Lance C. (Pamela) Vogelmann of Carpentersville; daughter-in-law, Doris Vogelmann of Elgin; and grandchildren, Craig Vogelmann, Sheri Vogelmann, Jamie (Armando) Sanchez and Troy Vogelmann.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter, in 1995; son, Barron, in 1991; sisters, Anne, in infancy, Wilma, Ruby and Hulda; and brothers, Walter, Martin and Herman.
Memorials may be given to Wesley United Methodist Church.

Lillian M. Wayman of Arlington Heights
Services for Lillian M. Wayman (nee McKean), formerly of Edgebrook and Park Ridge, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, 225 W. Ivanhoe Rd., Wauconda. She will lie in state from 9 a.m. until the time of the services.
Born in Chicago, she died Friday, May 14, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare. Interment will be in Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines.
A retired secretary for the Kendall Company, she was the wife of the late Lowell R. Wayman; sister of Lorraine R. (late Robert H. )Yell; mother of Donald L. (Jan) Wayman, Robert (Susan) Wayman and Diane (Jack) Sakolosky; aunt of Karen (Roger) Pedersen, Susan (Rev. Charles) Merkner and Carolyn (Bruce) Allison; great-aunt of five; and greatgreat-aunt of two.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy., Arlington Heights.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, Neediest Families, 4800 N. Marine Dr., Chicago, IL60640.

Evelyn E. Williams
Funeral services for Evelyn E. Williams (nee Cikanic) will begin at 9 a.m. Monday, at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle, with a chapel service at 10 a.m.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Skultety, Clarence Bannasch and Elmer Williams; devoted mother of Elaine Christ and Nancy (Jay) Paradise; dear sister of Dorothy Peterson; fond grandmother of Howard (Denise) and Gary Christ; and great-grandmother of two.
Mrs. Williams was a member of the Czechoslovak Society of America, Ladies Auxiliary #4600 of the VFW, and the Order of the Eastern Star #293.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral chapel.

Michael S. Zwolinski of Barrington
Services for Michael S. Zwolinski, 37, will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday, from Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., atSt. Juliana Church, 7142 N. Osceola, Chicago.
Born Nov. 30, 1961, he died Thursday, May 13, 1999, in Lake Zurich. Burial will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.
He was the son of the late Peter and Lillian Zwolinski; stepson of Maureen Zwolinski; brother of David (Patti) Zwolinski and Marcia (Anthony) Kittler; stepbrother of Bart Heuser; and uncle of six nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Robert F. Burns of Park Ridge
Funeral services for Robert F. Burns, 85, formerly of Norwood Park, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Mary Seat of Wisdom Catholic Church.
Born March 11, 1914, in Chicago, he died Saturday, May 15, 1999, at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Evanston.
Mr. Burns was retired colonel in the Army Reserves. He was a registrar at the Chicago School of Watchmaking.
He was the husband of the late Paulette H. Burns, who preceded him in death in 1995; father of Philip Burns, Marie-Paulette Giblin, Marie-Therese and Christine Burns; brother of John E. (Arlene) Burns and Grace E. Burns; grandfather of seven; and great-grandfather of four.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at M. J. Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Hwy., Chicago.
