Doreen B. Storey of Warrenville
Services for Doreen B. Storey (nee Gibson), 69, will be held at 10 a.m. today, at Wheaton Bible Church (corner of Franklin and Main Sts.), Wheaton. Rev. James Draper will officiate.
Born May 25, 1929, in Canada, the daughter of William and Iva Gibson, she passed away Saturday, March 27, 1999, at the DuPage Convalescent Center. Burial will be in St. Paul's Evergreen Cemetery, Bloomingdale.
She had attended Wheaton Bible Church.
Survivors include her children, Janice (Keith) Dillow of Plano, Ill., Stewart (Sharon) Storey of West Chicago, Kevin (Cheryl) Storey of Winfield, Dawn (Martin) Franklin of Gilbert, Ariz.; grandchildren, Martin (Michelle) Franklin, Melanie (Chris) Burns, Tiffany (Kenneth) Kassinger, Eric Franklin, and Scott, Rachel, Jessica and Bradley Storey; great-grandson, Andrew Kassinger; mother, Iva Gibson of Elgin; brother, David (Martha) Gibson; sister, Elizabeth (Robert) Buhlman; and many cousin, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Storey in 1999; and father, William Gibson.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services today, at the church.
Memorials may be given to the charity of ones choice.
Arrangements were made by Laird Funeral Home, Elgin.

Jerome S. Taitel of Lincolnshire
Services for Jerome S. Taitel, 75, will be held at 11 a.m. today, at Temple Chai, 1670 Checker Road, Long Grove.
He passed away Sunday, March 28, 1999. Interment will be in Shalom Memorial Park, Section 4 Carmel.
Mr. Taitel was a veteran of World War II.
He was the beloved husband and friend for 50 years of Lynn Taitel (nee Lewin); loving father of Eileen (Michael) Hoffman, Karen (Stuart) Shapiro, Howard (Debbie) Taitel, Terry (Darlene) Taitel and Debby (Frank) Robinson; cherished grandfather of Heather, Jason, Scott, Tara, Josh, Michael, Mark, Tyler, Sarah, Amber and Parker; dear brother of Shirley Stern and Dr. Arthur L. (Sharon) Taitel; devoted brother-in-law of Jackie Lewin and the late Burton Lewin; and fond uncle and cousin of many.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the Susan F. Lasky Cancer Foundation, PO Box 1353, Northbrook, IL 60065, or to Gilda Radner Ovarian Cancer Research, would be appreciated.

William C. Ward, 84, of Wheaton, died Monday, March 29, 1999. Arrangements were made by Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, Wheaton, (630) 668-0016.

Eugene F. Kinyon Sr. formerly of Chicago
Services for Eugene F. Kinyon Sr., 69, of New Boston, Ill., will begin at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago, and continue with a Blessing at 9 a.m. at St. Priscilla Church.
Born March 1, 1930, in Benton Harbor, Mich., he died Monday, March 29, 1999, at Iowa City Hospital. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.
Mr. Kinyon was a veteranof the Korean War and a retired lieutenant with the Chicago Fire Department.
He was the loving husband of Rose (nee Alongi); beloved father of Michael (Susan), Eugene Jr., Joann (Dave) Parrish, Susan Medhurst and John Patrick and Kevin Hicks; dearest grandfather of Doug, Mike, Carissa, Selene, Laura, Dave and Molly; great-grandfather of Sidney; dear brother of Joan (Alex) Trotsky, Lorraine (James) Rossi, Judith (Lionel) Mott, Diane Felski, Janice Duncan, Phyllis (James) Montgomery and Lawrence (Sherry) Spano; and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9:30 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The University of Iowa Hospital Cancer Research Clinic, Iowa City, Iowa.

Gilda Pullano of Chicago
Prayers for Gilda Pullano (nee Mustari) will be said at 11:30 a.m. today, at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Mass will follow at 12:30 p.m. at St. Constance Church, Chicago. Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum.
She was the wife of the late Frank; mother of John (Kathleen) and Jeanne Pullano; grandmother of Jason, Ryan and Michael; sister of Frank Mustari and the late Isabel Mustari; and sister-in-law, aunt and friend of many.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of prayers today, at the funeral home.

Robert J. Wall of the northwest side of Chicago
Funeral services for Robert J. Wall, 70, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge.
Born May 7, 1928, in Chicago, he died Tuesday, March 30, 1999, at Marriott's Church Creek Nursing Home, Arlington Heights. Interment willbe in St. Adalbert Cemetery.
He is survived by his sisters, Janet (George) Pawl and Patricia (Ron) Palmer, and many nieces and nephews.

Anthony J. Baca
Services for Anthony J. Baca, 68, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 10, at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, 6800 Milwaukee Ave., Niles.
Born Jan. 19, 1931, in Chicago, Mr. Baca died Saturday, March13, 1999. Interment will be private.
Retired for several years, he was a union cement mason for Chicago's Local 502 for more than 40 consecutive years. A native of northern Illinois, after retirement, he was a seasonal resident and volunteer for 5 years, at the Lake Manatee State Park in Bradenton, Fla. He served more than 1000 hours of volunteer service for the park.
Survivors include his children, Colleen Morgan of Naperville, Christopher Baca of El Sobrante, Calif., Tony Baca Jr. of Hawthorn Woods, Elizabeth Walter of Pell Lake, Wis., Jennifer Behling of Burlington, Wis., Mary Haque of Tlajomulco, Mexico, Theresa Young of Fox Lake and Paul Baca of Twin Lakes, Wis.; sisters, Loretta Schaffer of San Diego, Calif., Marcy Pry of Ingleside and Kay Gallagher of New Mexico; and 15 grandchildren.

Dina Bastounes of Niles Services for Dina Bastounes (nee Kanatakis), 91, will be held at 10 a.m.
Thursday, at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 Dempster, Des Plaines.
Born July 15, 1907, in Tripoli, Greece, she died Monday, March 29, 1999, at Hampton Plaza Nursing Home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
A homemaker, she was the wife of the late Gust; mother of Nick (Stella) Bastounes of Des Plaines and George (Shirley) Bastounes of Gurnee; grandmother of Dean (JoAnn) Bastounes of Chicago, Tom (Lisa) Bastounes of Park Ridge, Cynthia Bastounes of Chicago, Dean (Darlene) Bastounes of Somes, Wis., Gregory (Dawn) Bastounes of Grand Rapids, Mich., Rene (Tom) Haigma of Bristol, Wis., Heather (John) Truckenbrod of Chicago and Niki (Fred) Lussow of Arlington Heights; and great-grandmother of seven.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.

Anton Blahnik formerly of St. Charles
Funeral services for Anton Blahnik, 75, most recently of Caulfield, Mo., will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., St. Charles. The Rev. Kenneth Ahlstrand will officiate.
Born Nov. 26, 1923, in Maricourt, France, to Antonia (nee Chytry) and Frank Blahnik, he died Tuesday, March 30, 1999, at Park Manor Nursing Home in Park Falls, Wis. Interment will be private.
Mr. Blahnik served with the military Police 257th during World War II. For 14 years, he worked as an electrician for Dukane Corporation and in 1986, he retired from Richardson Electronics, both of St. Charles. He served as a volunteerfor the St. Charles Fire Department for 25 years. Mr. Blahnik was treasurer for Fox Valley River Estates Men's Club and received a 25-year pin from Western Bohemian Fraternal Association.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary; three children, Mary Ann (Tom) Schrader of Phillips, Wis., Jeanne (Ron) Nelson of Union, Ky. and Frank (Mary) Blahnik of Cuba City, Wis.; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sisterin-law, Rose of St. Charles; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother, Joseph.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Virginia M. Brown of Elgin
Services for Virginia M. Brown, 81, will be held at 1 p.m. today, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin. The Rev. Thomas Walker will officiate.
Born Dec. 26, 1917, in Hannibal, Mo., to William and Viola Biddle, she passed away Sunday, March 28, 1999, in Montgomery, Mich., at Tollas Country Aire Estates (a foster care facility). Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Brown had been a resident of Elgin for most of her life and had been employed by Grayline Manufacturing for several years before retiring. Shewas an active member of First United Methodist Church in Elgin and the church's Women's Guild.
Surviving are her daughter, Betty (George) McKinney of Fort Wayne, Ind.; son, Bill (Dawn) Brown III of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, William Brown, in April 1998.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of services today, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church.

Anna C. Brown of Wasco
Services for Anna C. Brown (nee Anderson), 91, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Conley Funeral Home, 116 W. Pierce St., Elburn. The Rev. John Feldman, a longtime friend and former pastor of Wasco Baptist Church, where Anna was active for many years, will officiate.
Born July 23, 1907, in Geneva, to Martin and Signe (nee Johanson) Anderson, she passed away Saturday, March 27, 1999, at Delnor Community Hospital, following an apparent heart attack at her home. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, St. Charles, following theservices.
Anna was raised in St. Charles and attended local schools, graduating from St. Charles High School with the Class of 1925. On Jan. 1, 1935, she was united in marriage to John L. Brown at Geneva Baptist Church. The couplemade their home near Wasco on the Brown homestead where the family had been dairy farming since the early 1800s. Anna spent many of her days cooking for the hired men and tending to her family of three growing boys. Gardening andcanning from year to year, she fed them well and her sons grew like the trees they gave her to plant about the farm. Time passed as everyone and everything grew up. The branches of the family tree can be found across the country, but, in spirit, the roots remain at the farm with the trees that still shade the memory of many good times.
Survivors include her sons, Robert John Brown of Chicago, William Herbert (Sarah Ann) Brown of Elgin and Bruce Allen (Martha Sue) Brown of St. Charles; sisters, Elsie Anderson of St. Charles, Bertha Danielsen of Elgin and Margaret (Julius `Bud') Wynthein of Iowa; grandchildren, Beth (Dave Martinez) Brown of Denver, Colo., Craig (Margaret) Brown of Arlington, Va., Laura (John) LaChance of Brooksville, Fla., Elizabeth (John) Marston of Elgin, Aaron Brown of Batavia, Kate (David) Brown-Bamford of Seattle, Wash., and Julie (Kurt) Hofmeister of Dallas, Texas, and Betsy and Matt Brown, both of St. Charles; and great-grandchildren, Rachael and Erica Martinez, Sarah and Joshua Brown, Emma, Janeand Will Marston, and Jay Hofmeister.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John, in 1991; and siblings, Ragner and Gordon Anderson, and Alvera Johnson.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
