A funeral Mass for Mary E. Gregg will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday, atSt.
Daniel the Prophet Church, 101 W. Loop Drive, Wheaton. (Please meet at the church. ) She died Tuesday, March 23, 1999, at her home. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Wheaton.
Mrs. Gregg had been a resident of Wheaton for 20 years.
She was the beloved wife of Russell E. Gregg; and loving mother of Richard R. (Jennifer) Gregg.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road (one block east of Naperville Road), Wheaton.
William E. Hendricksen of Mundelein
Services for William E. Hendricksen, 84, will be held at noon Saturday, at Kristan Funeral Home P. C., 219 W. Maple Ave. (Route 176), Mundelein. The Rev. Kenneth Press will officiate.
Born Feb. 7, 1915, in Chicago, he died Monday, March 22, 1999, at home, after a lengthy illness with prostate cancer.
Mr. Hendricksen had been a resident of Mundelein for 49 years. He was a retired lieutenant colonel from the
Army Corps of Engineers and had served during D-Day + 1 and the European Theater of Operations for 39 months. He was a member of the Mundelein American Legion Post #867 and the Triangle Fraternity at the University ofIllinois. He was also a former coach with the Mundelein Little League and a former deacon at the Community Protestant Church in Mundelein.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nellie Hendricksen (nee Holder); children, Bruce Hendricksen of West Chicago and Carol Hendricksen of Charlottesville, Va.; and grandchildren, Arne, Dane and Kjell.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services at noon Saturday, at the funeral home.

Edward Hunt of Des Plaines
Funeral services for Edward Hunt, 74, will be held at 7:30 p.m. today, at G. L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Ave., Des Plaines.
Born April 13, 1924, in Washington D. C., he died Monday, March 22, 1999, in Des Plaines. Entombment will be in Alexander's Memorial Park, Evansville, Ind.
Mr. Hunt was a decorated veteran of World War II and the
Korean War. He was a life member of the Elks Club of Des Plaines, VFW Post #2992 and American Legion Post #36. He was also past president of the American Welding Society.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Jean (nee Corns); son, Anthony; daughters, Marsha (Wayne) Hawkins and Debra (Ted) Borden; sister, Barbara (Robert) Townsend; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Patricia J. Jackson of Schaumburg
A memorial service for Patricia Jackson, 73, will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, at Faith Lutheran Church, 431 S. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights.
Born June 16, 1925, in Chicago, she passed away Wednesday, March 25, 1999, at Oakton Pavillion Nursing Home in Des Plaines. Inurnment will be in Mount Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst.
Surviving are her children, Brian (Marilyn) of Big Pine, Calif., Brett (Marybeth) of Arlington Heights and Beth Sherman (Steve) of Barrington; and grandchildren, Brett, Scott and Matthew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Warner and Louise Carlson; and sisters, Frances Weber and Darlene Jurin.

He was the beloved husband of Deloras (nee Speck); loving father of Carol (Dennis) Wahlen and Janet (Roger) Raethz; dearest grandfather of Mark (Lin) Wahlen, Steven and Lisa Raethz; dear great-grandfather of Evan Wahlen; fond brother of Wilfred, LeRoy, Harold, Burton, Delmer (Elaine), Gladys Dahany, Vidla (Winston) Johnson and the late Ralph, Vernon and Rudolph; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Catharine Elizabeth Johnson of Grayslake

Born Feb. 8, 1916, in Hudson, Wis., she passed away Tuesday, March 23, 1999, at Victory Lakes Nursing Center in Lindenhurst. Interment will follow in North Shore Garden of Memories in North Chicago.
Mrs. Johnson was a former member of United Protestant Church of Grayslake.
She leaves her children, Lynn (Daniel) Charles of Round LakeBeach and Alan (Cheryl) Johnson of Cedarburg, Wis.; grandchildren, Shane, Laurel, Kyle Johnson and David Charles; and sister, Harriet (Gene) Cook of Steamboat Springs, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David, in April 1984; sister, Miriam Brown; and brother, James Andrews.

Edward W. Kuhfahl of East Dundee
Funeral services for Edward W. Kuhfahl, 91, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 18N377 Galligan Road, Dundee. The Rev. Allan R. Buss and Vicar KyleCastens will officiate.
Born Feb. 19, 1908, in Cuba Township, the son of Fred and Sophia (nee Schumacher) Kuhfahl, he died Monday, March 22, 1999, at the Rosewood Care Center in Elgin. Burial will be in River Valley Memorial Gardens, West Dundee.
Mr. Kuhfahl was a lifelong resident of the area, and a former 43-year employee of Jewel Tea Companyin Barrington. He was an
Army veteran of World War II, having served in the Aleutian Islands. He was also a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church of Dundee.
He is survived by his son, Dale (Helen) Kuhfahl of East Dundee; daughter, Linda (Michael) Mooney of Frankfort, Ind.; grandsons, David Kuhfahl, Chad Mooney and Ryan Mooney; and sister, Emma Pelletier of Belvidere.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Doris Kuhfahl (nee Pertiet), they married Aug. 31, 1944 and she passed away Dec. 15, 1983; one brother; and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8:30p.m. Friday, at the church, and from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the church.

Anna Kunzle
Anna Kunzle, age 80, wife of Josef (deceased), mother of Loretta (Otto) Dobias of Sumner, Wash., James (Emma) Kunzle of Bradford, Ill., and June (Raymond) Gavin of Glenview; sister of Lorraine (George) Pawelski; grandmother of Michael, Terry, James, Douglas (deceased), Tom, Christopher, Susan, Elizabeth, Maureen, Jon, Michelle, Cathy and Megan; great-grandmother of 20. She will be deeply missed by all.
Anna was a member of St. Emily Catholic Church, St. Em's Gems, and the Mount Prospect Women's Club. Anna loved a good game of cards with her friends and was always interested in what was happening in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
With wonderful wit, Anna entertained her family with many interesting stories of her life and its adventures. She was a woman of great character, compassion and love of family. Her family feels blessed to be descendants of this beautiful woman.
The wake will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road, Mount Prospect. Services will begin with prayers at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass celebrated at 11 a.m., at St. Emily Catholic Church, 101 N. Chester J. Marzec of Mount Prospect
Services for Chester J. Marzec, 76, will begin with prayersat 8:45 a.m. Saturday, at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Road, Mount Prospect, and continue with Mass at 9:30 a.m., at St. Thomas Becket Church.
Born June 20, 1922, in Chicago, he died Tuesday, March 23, 1999, at Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Prior to his retirement Mr. Marzec had worked as a maintenance engineer for a high school.
He was the beloved husband of Marilyn Marzec; loving father of Alfred (Michelle), Thomas (Natalya), James (Stephanie) and Richard Marzec; proud grandfather of Maryia and Jason; fondbrother of the late Mildred, Sandra, Steven, Fred and Shirley; and dear partner of Commodore.

Dr. Patricia Ellen Meister of Wheaton
Services for Dr. `Pat' Meister, 47, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at St. John Lutheran Church, 125 E. Seminary, Wheaton.
Born Sept. 11, 1951, in Bremen, Ind., she died Monday, March 22, 1999, at home.
Dr. Meister was a chiropractor for 25 years and, together with her husband, ran the Meister Chiropractic Clinic in Winfield. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton and actively involved at the Women's Bible Study Coffee Group at Evangel Baptist. She was also a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Illinois Chiropractic Society and the National College of Chiropractic Alumni Association, a diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management, and a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association and the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority.
Surviving are her husband, Enn Meister; children, Erika, Melissa, Derek and Jared; parents, Eldonand Dorothy Swank of Palmetto, Fla.; brother, Michael (Brenda) Swank; mother-in-law, Bernice Meister of Largo, Fla.; and sister-in-law, Anna Hiltenbrand of Aurora.
She was preceded in death by three uncles and three aunts.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton.

Anne K. Miller of Saddlebrook Farms/Grayslake

Born April 21, 1924, in Yugoslavia, she passed away Tuesday, March 23, 1999, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Mrs. Miller had been a resident of Arlington Heights for more than 18 years, and had been residing in Grayslake for the past three years.
She leaves her loving husband, Eugene, whom she wed on Sept. 21, 1947, in Chicago; sons, Dale Miller of Schaumburg and Gary (Susan) Miller of Palatine; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Julie, Tim and Anthony; great-grandson, Anthony; and brother, John J. Koenig of Gurnee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Helen Koenig.
Friends of the family may visit from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral chapel.
