Roy Wynn of Elgin
A memorial service for Roy Wynn, 66, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Christ the Lord Lutheran Church. Rev. Steven Schrock will officiate.
Born Oct. 20, 1932, in Ludlow, Ky., the son ofJames and Margaret Wynn, he died Sunday, Feb. 28, 1999, at Maplewood Care Nursing Home after an extended illness of 20 years. Private interment was held by the family.
Mr. Wynn was a veteran of the Air Force serving in Korea. He was retired from Illinois Tool Works, Shakeproof Division after 21 years of service. He was a Pee Wee football coach from 1966 to 1978.
Survivors include his friend, Mardell; sons, David (Noreen) Wynn of Glendale, Wis., Robert (Carol) Wynn of Hampshire, Richard (Linda) Wynn of Bartlett and Brian (Jenny) Wynn of Bakersfield, Calif.; brothers, Clifford (Darlene) Wynn and William (Beverly) Wynn, both of Ludlow, Ky.; several nieces and nephews in Kentucky; and grandchildren, Sarah, Emily and Benjamin of Glendale, Lyndsie and Logan of Bakersfield, and Kenneth Roy of Elgin.

Rene H. Yerke of Deerfield
A memorial service for Rene H. Yerke, 78, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church, corner of Deerfield and Wilmot Rds., Deerfield. Interment will be private.
Mr. Yerke served with the Second Armored Division in World War II. After the war he worked for Underwriters Laboratories where he worked as an electrical engineer for 35 years until retirement. Since retiring, he has been active in the Deerfield Seniors. Mr. Yerke was also a member of St. Gregory's Episcopal Church.
He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret; loving father of Madeleine (Vincent) Palmieri and Renee (Wayne) Rathbun; and dear grandfather of Michael and Matthew Palmieri, and Scott and Kristen Rathbun.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, at Kelley and Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd., Highland Park.

Wilda B. Young formerly of Wayne
Graveside services for Wilda B. Young, 89, of Chicago, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Little Woods Cemetery, Wayne.
Born Oct. 19, 1909, in Fort Shell, Kan., Miss Young died Monday, Feb. 15, 1999.
She was formerly employed by Corwith and Joan Hamill of Wayne.
Survivors include her brother, Wallace Young of Decatur, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothersand sisters.
There will be no visitation.

Louis Thomas Ziska of Arlington Heights
Services for Louis Thomas Ziska, 87, will be held at 10 a.m. today, at St. John United Church of Christ, 308 N. Evergreen St., Arlington Heights. He will lie in state from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
Born June 10, 1911, in Chicago, he passed away Monday, March 1, 1999, at ManorCare Health Center in Rolling Meadows, surrounded by his loving family. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
Mr. Ziska attended the University of Chicago, graduating in 1932 with a degree in philosophy and was a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity. During his career, he was a purchasing agent for Diamond T, an assistant administrator at MacNeal Memorial Hospital in Berwyn and administrator at the Bohemian Home for the Aged in Chicago.
Mr. Ziska was a longtime resident of Berwyn, and a member of the First Congregational Church of Berwyn, where he held many leadership positions. After they moved to Arlington Heights, he attended St. John United Church of Christ.
He was the husband of Lorraine Ziska, whom he married on July 28, 1934. He is also survived by his children, Thomas (Murrien) of Germantown, Wis., Marjorie (Joseph) Venturella of Radisson, Wis. and Susan (Frank) Kaiser of Arlington Heights; grandchildren, Kristin (Jon) Snell and Vicki (Allen) Biks of Radisson, Kenneth (Laura) Kaiser of Arlington Heights, David (Janet) Kaiser of Arlington Heights, Joseph (Diane) Venturella of Keller, Texas, Dawn (Tony) Lynn of Walworth, Wis., Adam Ziska of Cicero, and Brad and Jenna Priztlaff of Germantown; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Ruby Elizabeth Hendricks of Indianapolis, Ind.

Born in Springfield, Tenn., she died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, at Robin Run Health Care Center. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, Ind.
Mrs. Hendricks had been a real estate agent for Gentry & McClanahan in the 1950s. She then worked for Perry Township School Corporation for 25 years, retiring in 1985. Among her special interests, she was a charter member of Southport Christian Church and a member of the Southport O. E. S., both in Indianapolis.
She was the beloved wife of the late Lester `Pete' Hendricks; loving mother of Joe Ann Steinmeier of Indianapolis and Bruce Allen Hendricks of Bartlett; and cherished grandmother of four. She was also the dear sister of Josephine Meador of Nashville, Tenn., Eugene and Pete Denning of Orlinda, Tenn., and Halford Denning of Indianapolis.

Violet Genevieve Anderson of St. Charles
Services for Violet Genevieve Anderson, 79, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1145 N. Fifth Ave., St. Charles. The Rev. Kenneth Ahlstrand and the Rev. Jane Kunzie Brunner will officiate.
Born June 28, 1919, in St. Charles, she died Thursday, March 4, 1999, at Delnor Community Hospital, Geneva. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, St. Charles.
Following graduation from St. Charles High School in 1937, Mrs. Anderson attended secretarial school in Chicago, where she learned to operate the Burroughs Comptometer. She was a former employee of Operadio (now Dukane), the Soil Conservation Service of Kane County and the Cooperative Extension Service.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in St. Charles where, over the years, she sang in the church choir, helped publish the church bulletin, taught Sunday school, participated in the Lutheran Church Women, and served as financial secretary for several years. She was also a member of Table Parents for Wednesday Night Live, PEO and the Evan Shelby PTA. Her hobbies included knitting, sewing, reading and playing the piano.
Violet will be especially remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Glenn F. Anderson; children, V. Christine (John) Adolphi of Eden Prairie, Minn., Karen (Robert) Ostash of Glendale, Calif., David (Sharon) Anderson of Alpharetta, Ga., Paul (Paula) Anderson of Ames, Iowa, Ruth Anderson of Elgin and Richard (Carol) Anderson of Elgin; grandchildren, Natalie (Andrew McDowell) and Eric Adolphi, David (Heather), Michael, and Alicen Ostash, Timothy, Mark, Marta and Kyle Anderson, and Julie (Jason) Keen; and great-granddaughter, Erica McDowell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John B. and Natalia (nee Hokkanson) Wilson; and brother, Everett Wilson.

Hazel B. Anderson lifelong resident of Elgin

Born May 15, 1904, in Elgin, the daughter of Stephen and Blondine Berthoud Noiret, she died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, at Sherman Hospital.
Mrs. Anderson graduated from Elgin High School in 1922 and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her brother, Winston Noiret of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl T. `Chick' Anderson in 1972; sister, Jeannette Chapman; and nephew, Thomas Mallon.

Leo C. Brill formerly of Mundelein

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Brill had been employed by the R. W. Mitchell Company and Beatrice Foods. He was a member of Santa Maria del Popolo Church in Mundelein.
He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy Brill; loving father of Charles (Grace) Brill and Thomas (Polly) Brill; proud grandfather of Steven and Gregory Brill; and dear brother of Marie (the late Al) Bieganski and the late Carl (Julia) Brill and Johanna (Frank) Kellerman.

For 19 years, Patti was employed as a registered nurse at Delnor-Community Hospital, where she was coordinator, shift supervisor patient care services team, and an admissions/staffing coordinator.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Rogers; sons, Karl Edward and Justin Dale Carlock, both of St. Charles; her parents of St. Charles; brothers, Edward Bryan (Dorothy) Millard of Mahomet, Ill. and Keith Charles (Anna Marie) Millard of St. Charles; and sister, Toni Gail Law of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Katie Carlock.
