HARRISBURG — Destini Jacolby Cottom, 6, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, at her home during a house fire.
She was a first-grade student at Westside School.
Surviving are her mother, Tammy; a sister, Constance Cornwell of Harrisburg; her grandmother, Barbara Raley; and her grandfather, Bill Morgan.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home, with burial in Sunset Lawn cemetery.

Rick Cottom
HARRISBURG — Rick Cottom, 42, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, at his home during a housefire.
He had been a bowling manager and co-owner of Ross Cottom Lane.
He was a member of American Bowling Congress, Midwest Bowling Association, the Elks and was a former member of Jaycees.
Surviving are his wife, Tammy; a stepdaughter, Constance Cornwell of Harrisburg; and two brothers, Doug of West Frankfort and Randy of Metropolis.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home, with burial in Sunset Lawn cemetery.

Imogene Johnson
ELDORADO — Imogene R. Johnson, 77, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at Harrisburg Medical Center.
She was a member of Miracle Temple Church in Wasson and was a Gold Star Mother.
Surviving are four sons, Larry Joe Hart of Broughton, Nolan Hargrave of Littleton, Colo., and David and Bradley Wyatt, both of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; and five grandchildren, Nolan Dean, Nolan Brent, Erynn Marie and Catherine Dory Hargrave and Brandon Dale Wyatt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Dale, and a son, Stephan Lee Hargrave, who was killed in Vietnam.
Private services will be at 1 p.m. today at Cox & Son Funeral Home in New Haven, with burial in Union Ridge cemetery near New Haven.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
James Boyd
WILLOW HILL — James F. “Jim” Boyd, 76, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind., of cancer.
He had been a construction worker with Local 1280 in Robinson, retiring in 1987.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Oblong and attended Willow Hill United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Norma; two daughters, Twilla Harvey, with the Navy and Carol Hyde Whyte of Gainsville, Fla.; three sons, Bradley of Robinson, James E. of Perry, Ga., and James C. Dull of Faribault, Minn.; three sisters, Ester Gordon of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Bernadine Jones and Hazel Culp, both of Willow Hill; eight grandchildren, William Shane Whyte, Eric Joseph Verbonic, Chase James Dull, Tanna Tardif, Norma Lee Ann Weir, Kimberly A. and Stacy L. Dull and Kortney Adams; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Willow Hill United Methodist Church, with burial in Mound cemetery in rural Jasper County.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Pulliam Funeral Home Oblong Chapel and from noon to service time at the church.

Helen Doneghue
CARMI — Helen Doneghue, 90, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, at White County Medical Center.
She had been a kitchen supervisor at Wabash Christian Retirement for 20 years.
Surviving are three sisters, Ruby Wohlhueter and Betty Hart, both of Carmi, and Mildred Kries of Grayville; and a brother, Jim of Carmi.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Campbell Funeral Home, with burial in Big Prairie cemetery.

Margaret Rich
FLAT ROCK — Margaret Elizabeth Rich, 88, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, at Crawford Memorial Hospital Long Term Care.
She had farmed with her husband.
Surviving are her husband, Robert; a son, R. Vaughn of Flat Rock; two sisters, Goldia Albin and Mary Frances Correll, both of Robinson; three grandchild-ren, Karen Yvonne McCarter, Robert Vaughn and Mark Douglas Rich; and four great-grandchildren.
The body will be cremated.
There will be no services or visitation at Goodwine Funeral Home.

Naomi Finn
OLNEY — Naomi E. Finn, 70, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, at her home of cancer.
She was a Methodist and was a member of Eastern Star.
Surviving are three daughters, Beverly Sloat and Shirley Bonn, both of Olney and Lola Smith of Vincennes, Ind.; two sons, Raymond Jr. of Olney and John of Corpus Christi, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Raymond C. Sr., died in 1990.
The body will be cremated.
There will be no services or visitation at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel in Evansville.
Marjorie Randazzo
McLEANSBORO — Marjorie Ruth Randazzo, 76, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, at her home.
She retired as postmaster for the Broughton post office and had worked for the Postal Service for 36 years.
She was a World War II Army veteran and member of American Legion Post 106 and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She was also a member of Royal Neighbors Society.
Surviving are her husband, Philip; a son, Gary A. of McLeansboro; three grandchild-ren, Amber Brien and Angela and Joseph Clark; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, who was stillborn.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Gholson Funeral Home, with burial in Pleasant Grove cemetery.

Nikki Stifle
STOY — Nikki Lee Stifle, 24, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident on Illinois 33 in Stoy.
She was a cook at Ridgeview Care Center in Oblong.
Surviving are her husband, Jody; two daughters, Chelsea Lomas and Brianna Stifle, both at home; her parents, Wayne and Larena Belford, both of Oblong; three sisters, Margaret Belford of Oblong and Tracy Kuhlman and Tina Messenger, both of Toledo; two brothers, Richard Belford of Edgewood and Wayne E. Belford of Robinson; and her grandparents, Helen Stifle and Wayne and Mildred Belford.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pulliam Funeral Home Oblong Chapel. The body will be cremated.

Joe Gholson
McLEANSBORO — Joe Randel Gholson, 71, of DeSoto, died of lung cancer, Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Marion.
He retired as grounds keeper at the high school in Prairie View.
He was a Korean War veteran and past commander of the Gurnee American Legion.
He was a member of Blooming Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Taylor Raiser; two daughters, Catherine McCann and Anita Sibley, both of Gurnee; two sons, Thomas of Waukegan and David of Gurnee; four sisters, Elsie Auxier and Annette Webb, both of McLeansboro, Sylvia Drosdahl of Las Vegas and Elizabeth Neal of Marion; three brothers, Charles of McLeansboro, James of Carmi and Jerry of Evansville; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Gholson Funeral Home, with burial in Hickory Hill cemetery near Broughton.

Donald Cowling
ALBION — Donald O. Cowling, 80, of Browns, died of cancer, Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, at his home.
He was a farmer and member of the First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ada Ruth; two daughters, Mary Johnson of Albion and Jan Ankenbrandt of LaSalle; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
