OMAHA — Chloe Ann Spence, 88, died Friday, May 19, 2000, at her home.
She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Cottonwood, the Cottonwood Club and the Gallatin County Homemakers Cottonwood Unit.
There are no immediate survivors.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Vickery Funeral Home Ridgway Chapel, with burial in Oak Grove cemetery.

Mary Downen
RIDGWAY — Mary L. Downen, 80, died Friday, May 19, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
She worked as a school teacher for 35 years.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Ridgway.
Surviving are a sister, June Ritchie of Tucson, Ariz.; and a brother, Max Downen of Ridgway.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Vickery Funeral Home Ridgway Chapel, with burial in Asbury cemetery in Omaha.

Alice Fiscus
LAWRENCEVILLE — Alice M. Fiscus, 87, died Friday, May 19, 2000, at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital.
Surviving are her husband, Paul; a son, Jerry of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.; a brother, Curtis Atkinson of Marietta, Ga.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and a son.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Lawrenceville City cemetery.

Dorris Ozment
HARRISBURG — Dorris Ozment, 88, died Saturday, May 20, 2000, at Saline Care Center.
She was a member of Harrisburg First United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and Susanna Wesley Sunday school class.
Surviving are a daughter, Karen White of Columbia; three sons, Kenneth, Bob and Greg, all of Harrisburg; a sister, Dorothy Helen Baldwin of Harrisburg; a brother, George Henley of Boone, Iowa; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Robert “Doc, ” died in 1993.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Sunset Lawn cemetery.
There will be no visitation at Gaskins Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Harrisburg First United Methodist Church.
Betty Jo Love
ROSICLARE — Betty Jo Love, 64, died Friday, May 26, 2000, at Harrisburg Medical Center of lung cancer.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Smock of Rosiclare; two sons, Dewayne and Ricky, both of Rosiclare; two sisters, Aline Jeeter, and Joyce Daniel, both of of Newnan, Ga.; two brothers, J.D. and Clyde Vise, both of Bowdon, Ga.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Hal, preceded her in death.
Arrangement were handled by Cox Funeral Home.
Mary Cunningham
FAIRFIELD — Mary Gertrude Cunningham, 95, died Sunday, May 28, 2000, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.
Surviving are two sons, Viril of Fairfield and Merrill of Southern Pines, N.C.; two sisters, Sacy Steffey of Lawrenceville and Pauline Finn of Seminole, Fla.; two brothers, Earl Lewis of Glasgow, Ky., and Gene Lewis of Sumner; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home, with burial in Maple Hill cemetery.

Willie Green
CARMI — Willie Mae Green, 94, died Saturday, May 27, 2000, at the home of her daughter, Julia Morris in Princeton, Ind.
She was a member of the Mitchell Chapel AME Church in Carmi.
Also surviving is her granddaughter, Julia Sullivan.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at North Maple Ridge cemetery.

Madonna Cross
ROBINSON — Madonna J. Cross, 68, died Saturday, May 27, 2000, in the special care unit at Crawford Memorial Hospital of heart failure due to respiratory problems.
She retired from the bakery and deli department in IGA Store in Robinson.
She was a member of Highland Avenue Baptist Church and American Legion Post 69 Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, Robert A.; a daughter, Kathy McLaughlin of Lovington, N.M.; two sons, Roger Phillips of Ripley, Tenn., and Alan Cross of Aurora; two brothers, Leonard Sanders of Flat Rock and Leon Sanders of Robinson; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pulliam Funeral Home, with burial in Robinson New cemetery.

Ivan Elliott
CARMI — Ivan A. “Johnny” Elliott, 76, died Sunday, May 28, 2000, at his home.
He was the president and senior partner in the law firm of Conger & Elliott in Carmi.
He was a World War II Army veteran and retired lieutenant colonel in the Army Reserve.
He was an elder in the First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, “Parkey”; three daughters, Cynthia Ann Elliott of Hays, Kan., Rebecca Sue Griffin of Loveland, Ohio, and Marjorie Kay Martin of Henderson, Nev.; and a brother, Norman of Albuquerque, N.M.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church, with burial in Maple Ridge cemetery, with military rites.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Campbell Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. to service time at the church.

Aline Marlow
PALESTINE, Ill. — Aline Marlow, 81, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at Crawford Memorial Hospital.
She retired from the specialty printing department at the Robinson Daily News.
She was a member of the Eagles, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliaries and the Women of the Moose.
Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie Brodie of Carlisle, Ind.; three sisters, Rayburn Homcoe and Gayle Hubber, both of Hammond, Ind.; a brother, Dick Wells of Foley, Ala.; three granddaughters, Loretta Lynn Bishop, Tamara Wisdom and Charlotte Roach; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Enos Bishop, her second husband, Ron Marlow, a daughter in infancy and a son, Gregory Eugene Bishop.
Services will be at 8 p.m. today at Goodwine Funeral Home, with burial pending at Jones cemetery in Flat Rock.

Kathern Yates
MOUNT CARMEL, Ill. — Kathern R. Yates, 64, died Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000, at Wabash General Hospital. She had diabetes.
She had worked at Caterpillar in Joliet and was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliaries.
Surviving are three sisters, Emma Michaels of Grayville, and Martha Higgins and Eula Banks, both of Mount Carmel; and three brothers, Joe and Roy Banks, both of Mount Carmel, and Willard Banks of Leesville, La.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in the Allendale cemetery. There will be no visitation at Short Funeral Home.
