GALATIA, Ill. Delta M. Tate, 87, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, in Eldorado.
She had been the bookkeeper for Tates Blue Flame in Galatia and The Hamburg Store.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Jean Boyett of Fort Smith, Ark.; a son, Dale of Galatia; eight grandchildren, Cindy McNew, Joe, Jeff and Kenny Boyett, Angie Finnie, Gena Fulkerson, Kathy Tennison and Danny Tate; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Sloan Funeral Home, with entombment in Tates Chapel cemetery.

Martha Fromm
MOUNT CARMEL, Ill. Martha Gertrude Fromm, 98, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at the Oakview Heights Nursing Home.
She had been plant foreman for the Cairo Laundry and Dry Cleaners from 1919 to 1969.
She was a member of the Cairo Baptist Church and a 50-year member Eastern Star.
Surviving are two brothers; three grandchildren, Dr. Michael, Douglas and Lisa Fromm; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a niece and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick, and a son, Frederick N.
Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 5, 2000, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Ill., following cremation. Short Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Glenn Wright
ELDORADO, Ill. Glenn Wright, 88, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at Ferrell Hospital.
He was a clock maker and a mechanic for John Deere.
He was a member of Gurney Masonic Lodge 778 and the Mount Zion Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Carolyn Omohundro and Margaret Hall, both of Eldorado, and Katherine Wright of Nashville, Tenn.; a son, James of Eldorado; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Violet Fox, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Watson Funeral Home, with burial in Mount Zion cemetery.

Mildred Clements
SUMNER, Ill. Mildred J. Clements, 95, died Jan. 18, 2000, at the Lawrence Community Health Care.
She was a member of Bethany Christian Church, Eastern Star, White Shrine and Daughters of the Nile. She had been a 4-H leader for 50 years.
Surviving are a daughter, Marcia Mardis of Cibola, Texas; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Her husband, Ross P., preceded her in death.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Macey & Steffey Funeral Home, with burial in Sumner City cemetery.

Violet Orey
WAYNE CITY, Ill. Violet N. Orey, 87, formerly of Wayne City, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
Surviving are two sisters, Ruth Opal Young of Clarksdale, Miss., and Dorothy Lee Shepard of Bluford, Ill. Her husband, Phillip, died in 1981.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home, with burial in Thomason cemetery.

June Sheridan
ELIZABETHTOWN, Ill. June Sheridan, 72, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at Rosiclare Healthcare Center of cancer.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Anns Altar Society.
Surviving are two daughters, Deborah Cates of Evansville and Melody Migas of Harrisburg; a son, Dana of Elizabethtown; her mother, Eunice Rhoades of Melbourne, Ark.; two sisters, Velda Miller of Independence, Mo., and Virginia Kankey of Kansas City, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
Her husband, Glen, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in Cave Hill cemetery in Cave in Rock.

Mildred Lyle
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ill. Mildred Lyle, 88, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at United Methodist Village.
She retired from Goodwill in Lawrenceville in 1986. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses.
Surviving are five daughters, Debbie Secrest, Marcia Lane, Carla Thacker and Linda Phillips, all of Lawrenceville, and Betty Jutzi-Titzer of Evansville, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home, with burial in May Chapel cemetery.

Raymond Ledbetter
HARRISBURG, Ill. Raymond Ledbetter, 90, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at Saline Care Center.
He was a baker for Pankey Bros. for more than 37 years.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred Lorene; three sisters, Ann Ledbetter and Alene Walter, both of Harrisburg, and Edith Healy of Enfield; and a brother, William G. of Harrisburg.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Gaskins Funeral Home, with burial in Sunset Hill cemetery.

Lyle Burcham
ROBINSON Lyle R. Burcham, 85, died Monday, June 5, 2000, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana of injuries sustained in an auto accident Sunday, June 4, near Trimble.
He worked for Marathon Oil Co. in Robinson as an operator for 35 years.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, where he was a trustee, usher and president of his Sunday school class, American Legion, Robinson Elks, Crawford County Masonic Lodge, Ainad Shrine Temple, Crawford County Farm Bureau and Robinson Blue Lodge. He also volunteered at the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville.
He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Eva R.; a stepdaughter, Marsha Bechtell of Dearborn Heights, Mich.; a sister, Lois Lorance of Robinson; a brother, Cecil of Robinson; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann, in 1991, and a stepdaughter, Shirley Skaggs.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Pulliam Funeral Home Robinson Chapel.
Perry Lowe
RINARD Perry L. Lowe, 50, died Sunday, June 4, 2000, at his home of cancer.
He was a farmer and worked at Trunkline Gas for 19 years.
He was a member of Round Prairie General Baptist Church in Cisne. He was a Vietnam War veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley; two daughters, Kimberly Hosick of Cisne and Tammy Flexter of Georgetown, Ind.; a son, Kevin L. of Johnsonville; his parents, Philip and Wilma Lowe of Rinard; two sisters, Sharon Peddicord of Johnsonville and Phyllis Braddock of Wayne City; a brother, Paul of Cisne; and four grandchildren, Jamie and Cody Lowe and Logan and Jordan Hosick.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, with burial in Round Prairie cemetery.

MOUNT CARMEL Mildred A. Sales, 85, died Sunday, June 4, 2000, at Oakview Heights Nursing Home.
Surviving are two sons, Billy of Lancaster and Bobby of Mount Carmel; a sister, Pat Gilbert of Broken Bow, Okla.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Darrell.
