Beulah Lamb
FLAT ROCK, Ill. Beulah F. Lamb, 78, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2000, at Crawford County Convalescent Center.
She had worked at L.S. Heath in Robinson and was a member of the Royal Neighbors.
Surviving are a son, Jerry of Flat Rock; four sisters, Lois Dix of Hutsonville, Norma Melton of Marshall, Dorothy Wesner and Betty Enlow, both of Flat Rock; three grandchildren, Brian Lamb, Beth Dart and Janet Meeks; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A son, Clarence Lamb, and a daughter, Francine Lamb, preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Jones cemetery.

Naomi Johnson
CARMI, Ill. Naomi Johnson, 98, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, at Wabash Christian Retirement Center.
She had been a seamstress for the Ainsbrooke Corp.
She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and the oldest member of the Emanuel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a sister, Wilma Walker of Carmi; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Damon, and a son, William C., preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cook Funeral Chapel, with burial in Maple Ridge cemetery.

Dale Guyer
HUTSONVILLE, Ill. Dale Elbert Guyer, 68, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2000, at Skilled Care Unit of Crawford Memorial Hospital of brain cancer.
He owned and operated Guyer Electric Service since 1968, retiring in 1998.
He was a member of Pleasant Grove Friends Meeting, president of Western Yearly Meeting from 1988 through 1994 and the recipient of the Christian Camping International Award in 1982.
He had worked in missions in Kenya and Belize City, Belize.
Surviving are a daughter, Cynthia Fox of Terre Haute, Ind.; two sons, Larry of Syracuse, Ind., and Harold of Robinson; seven grandchildren, Amber Herboso, Andrew, Stephanie, Alex and Christopher Guyer and Jeremy and Daniel Fox; a great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
His wife, Marilyn E., and an infant daughter, Susan Jane Guyer, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m Saturday at Pleasant Grove Friends Meeting in rural Annapolis, with burial in Hutsonville cemetery.

Robert Campbell
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ill. Robert E. Campbell, 64, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital.
He had been a farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Maudette (Berg); a daughter, Roberta Campbell of rural Lawrenceville; and two brothers, William O. of rural Lawrenceville and John of Decatur.
A son, Daniel Robert, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Emmons-Macy & Steffey Funeral Home, with burial in lawrenceville City cemetery.

Harold Jones
ROBINSON, Ill. Harold E. Jones, 54, died Wednesday Feb. 23, 2000, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis of leukemia.
He retired in 1999 after 20 years with the Marathon Oil Co. in mobile equipment maintenance.
He was a Mason and member of the First Baptist Church.
He was a member of a car club, The Crawford County Collectibles.
Surviving are his wife, Vivian; three daughters, Teresa K. Dix and Tracey Jones, both of Robinson, and Michele Littlejohn of Oblong; a son, Scott of Washington, D.C.; his mother and stepfather, L. Twila and Don Perkins of Robinson; two brothers, his twin, Jerald E., and Russell, both of Robinson; four grandchildren, Branden and Cory Littlejohn and Tyler and Caleb Dix; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pulliam Funeral Home, with burial in West Lawn Memorial Park in Newton.

Harold Maxey
CROSSVILLE, Ill. Harold E. Bunky Maxey, 72, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at Wabash Christian Retirement Center.
He was an electrician and lineman for Terrell Electric Co. and a member of the St. Polycarp Catholic Church.
Surviving are five daughters, Mary E. Woolsey of Crossville, Eileen Mundy of Port Charlotte, Fla., Judy M. Davis of New Harmony, Ind., Janet L. Cunningham of Grayville and Rebecca A. Clark of Carmi; three sons, Gregory E. of Appleton, Wis., Richard T. of Carmi and Joseph A. of Geff; his mother, Zola Maxey of Shiloh; two sisters, Ilene Morris of Dupo and Enid Tolin of OFallon; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
His wife, Patricia Marion (Callahan) died Feb. 15.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Campbell Funeral Home, with burial in St. Polycarp cemetery.

NEW HAVEN, Ill. Dorothy Stoll, 79, of Lorain, Ohio, formerly of New Haven, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, at Grace Hospital in Ohio.
She had managed the Chris Cafe in Lorain.
Surviving are her husband, Jack; and nieces and nephews.

McLEANSBORO, Ill. Faye E. Lowery, 77, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, at her home in Mount Vernon, Ill.
She was Protestant.
Surviving are four sons, Lin of Duncanville, Texas, James of Opdyke, John of Spring, Texas, and Wendell of McLeansboro; three daughters, Karen E. Nelson of Atlanta, Cathy Butler of Crossville, Tenn., and Sherry Myatt of Davenport, Fla.; two sisters, Edith Dooley of Clinchco, Va., and Stacy Gibson of Coeburn, Va.; 24 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, James, and a son, Booker, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Gholson Funeral home, with burial in Hopewell cemetery.

Aline Marlow
PALESTINE, Ill. Aline Marlow, 81, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at Crawford Memorial Hospital.
She retired from the specialty printing department at the Robinson Daily News.
She was a member of the Eagles, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliaries and the Women of the Moose.
Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie Brodie of Carlisle, Ind.; three sisters, Rayburn Homcoe and Gayle Hubber, both of Hammond, Ind.; a brother, Dick Wells of Foley, Ala.; three granddaughters, Loretta Lynn Bishop, Tamara Wisdom and Charlotte Roach; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Enos Bishop, her second husband, Ron Marlow, a daughter in infancy and a son, Gregory Eugene Bishop.
Services will be at 8 p.m. today at Goodwine Funeral Home, with burial pending at Jones cemetery in Flat Rock.

Kathern Yates
MOUNT CARMEL, Ill. Kathern R. Yates, 64, died Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000, at Wabash General Hospital. She had diabetes.
She had worked at Caterpillar in Joliet and was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliaries.
Surviving are three sisters, Emma Michaels of Grayville, and Martha Higgins and Eula Banks, both of Mount Carmel; and three brothers, Joe and Roy Banks, both of Mount Carmel, and Willard Banks of Leesville, La.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in the Allendale cemetery. There will be no visitation at Short Funeral Home.
