Don Bradberry
FLAT ROCK, Ill. — Don Bradberry, 65, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville of an apparent heart attack.
He retired in 1996 from L.S. Heath & Sons and Leaf Candy Co., after 43 years of service in the maintenance department.
He was a member of Pearl Chapel Church and was a Korean War Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Anna Jane (Lemeron); a daughter, Teresa Lynn Rock of Claremont, N.H.; three sons, Donald Leon, Rick and Bill Bradberry, all of Flat Rock; and six grandchildren, Hank, Jessica, Marinda, Kara and Larry Don Bradberry and Erica Rock.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Goodwine Funeral Home Flat Rock Chapel, with burial in Tohill cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Tom McKeighen
FLAT ROCK, Ill. — Tom McKeighen, 66, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, in Mission, Texas, where he resided during the winter months.
He worked as a carpenter in the construction business.
He was a member of Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church and Carpenters Local 546 of Vincennes, Ind.
Surviving are his wife, Zelma (Heath); a daughter, Debby Hayden of Robinson; three sons, Thomas Michael, James Mark and David Paul, all of Robinson; a brother, John of Robinson; and four grandchildren, Michelle, Susanne and Amy Hayden and Tommy McKeighen.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Goodwine Funeral Home Robinson Chapel, with burial in Lawrenceville City cemetery.
Friends may call from noon to service time at the funeral home.
Joseph Walter
MOUNT CARMEL, Ill. — Joseph E. Walter, 77, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at Lawrenceville Manor Nursing Home.
He was a retired physical therapist.
He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of St. Mary’s Church.
Surviving are a sister, Mary Lou Ritchel of Evansville; a brother, Donald E. of Mount Carmel; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at a later date.

ALBION, Ill. — Ray Burge, 90, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at Olney Care Center.
Surviving are a sister, Faye Nickles of Durant, Okla.; a brother, Joe of Healdton, Okla.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and his companion, Bertha Waterman of Olney.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Nale’s Funeral Home Albion Chapel, with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Milton Vaughan
FAIRFIELD, Ill. — Milton “Lee” Vaughan, 63, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at his home of cancer.
He worked for Airtex.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce; a daughter, Debra Vaughan of Illinois;a stepdaughter, Barbara McCormick of Tennessee; two sons, Vernon and George, both of Illinois; two sisters, Geneva Klaffer of Cisne and Mary Phillips of Braceville; five brothers, Pleasant of Mill Shoals, Donald, Tom and Fred, all of Fairfield, and Joe of Manhattan; and grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Koontz cemetery, near Fairfield.

Douglas Kincaid
PALESTINE, Ill. — Douglas G. Kincaid, 66, died Friday, Nov. 5, 1999, at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson of heart complications. He was a retired farmer and had worked with his late father, Garvin, for the Kincaid Implement Co., and had owned and operated the Kincaid R.C. Hobbies Co. in Palestine.
He was a member of Assembly of God Church in Robinson and the Terre Haute Remote Control Club.
He was a Korean War Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Janice (York); two daughters, Kim Enlow of Longmont, Colo., and Keli Ashley of Olathe, Kan.; his stepmother, Margaret Kincaid of Palestine; three stepbrothers, Chester Greene of Palestine, Robert Greene of Vincennes, Ind., and Gary Greene of Phoenix; and five grandchildren, Dustin and Lacey Grove and Myka, Adrea and Elias Ashley.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Goodwine Funeral Home Palestine Chapel.

Sarah Dodson
WEST SALEM, Ill. — Sarah E. “Betty” Farris Dodson, 93, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at Burgin Manor in Olney of heart failure.
She had been a registered nurse at Webber Medical Clinic in Olney and was the first administrator for the West Salem Nursing Home.
Surviving are a sister, Martha Pool of Olney; three brothers, Frank and L.D. Rothrock, both of Parkersburg, and Jonas Rothrock of West Salem; and two stepgrandchildren.
Her first husband, Farrell Farris, died in 1960, her second, Benjamin “Frank” Dodson, died in 1981 and a son, William Farrell Farris preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ingram Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Grove cemetery.

BRIDGEPORT, Ill. — Velma O. Koinzan, 90, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville.
Surviving are her husband, Oscar P.; a brother, Virgil Webb of Bridgeport; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Bridgeport City cemetery. There will be no visitation at Cunningham Funeral Home.
Clarence Fitzgerald
STONEFORT, Ill. — Clarence E. Fitzgerald, 61, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at the Harrisburg Medical Center of cancer.
He retired as a construction worker.
He attended the Ozark Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are his wife, Sue; a daughter, Brenda Matthews of Helper, Utah; three sons, Richard and Robert, both of Peone, Colo., and Ronnie of Helper; two stepsons, Keith and Terry Tite, both of Vienna; four sisters, Leona Hyers of Harrisburg, Mammie McNalley of Galatia, Francis King of Carrier Mills and Phyllis Murphy of Ozark; three brothers, Harvey of Harrisburg, John and Leon, both of Carrier Mills; two grandchildren; and seven stepgrandchildren.

MCLEANSBORO, Ill. — Clyde Emory Hunter, 66, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital. He had a heart condition.
He retired as a meat inspector for Illinois.
He attended the First General Baptist Church.
He coached summer softball and Little League programs in Hamilton County and had played softball for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Estell; a daughter, Debbie Johnson of McLeansboro; two granddaughters, Jamie and Kristie Johnson; and nieces.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Harre Funeral Home, with burial in Blooming Grove cemetery.

NORRIS CITY, Ill. — Harrison McMahon, 69, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville of a heart attack.
He had been the Hamilton County commissioner. He retired as a road-grader operator. Surviving are four sons, Harrison Edward of Norris City, Charles Lee of South Pekin and Lemual Dean and Billy John, both of Pekin; a brother, Howard of Norris City; three grandchildren, Jamie and Amber McMahon and John Allen; and his companion, Sylvia Allen of Norris City.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Gholson Funeral Home McLeansboro Chapel, with burial in Prospect cemetery.

ALBION, Ill. — Hazel Keener, 89, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, at the home of her son, Fred in Lady Lake, Fla.
