Robert P. Kovich of Wauconda
Visitation for Robert P. Kovich, 63, will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, at KisselburgWauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda.
Born Dec. 1, 1935, in Chicago, he died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, at home. Interment will be private.
Mr. Kovich had been a resident of Wauconda for six years and had formerly lived in McHenry and Chicago. During his entire career he had worked as a mechanical design engineer. He was also an Army veteran and an avid motorcyle rider.
He was the loving father of Steven W. Kovich of Elburn; Lisa (Tore) Sivertsen of Richmond, Ill., and Karen Kovich of Palatine; proud grandfather of Jordan and Paige; beloved son of Janet Chesney and the late Frank Kovich; and dear brother of Frank and Ronald (Marilyn) Kovich, Rebecca and Judith Chesney, and the late Dennis Kovich.
Memorials made to a charity of donor's choice would be appreciated.

Max R. Krabbe of Elgin
Services for Max R. Krabbe, 77, will be held at 11 a.m. today, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin. The Rev. Douglas Hall will officiate.
Born May 26, 1921, in Newton,Ill., to Charles and Grace (nee Wakefield) Krabbe, he died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in River Valley Memorial Gardens, West Dundee.
A resident of Elgin for more than 60 years, Mr. Krabbe had been employed by the Modern Dairy Company in Elgin for 27 years and the Illinois Department of Transportation for more than 20 years before retiring. He was an Army veteran, having served during World War II.
He was also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 799 of Elgin for more than 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Krabbe (nee Tolley); daughter, Susan Sitter of Elgin; son, Charles Krabbe of Elgin; grandsons, Michael (Sarah) Sitter and Andrew Sitter, both of Elgin; great-grandson, Ryan Max Sitter; and brother, Jack Krabbe of Denver, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be given to a charity of donor's choice.

Lawrence Louis LoBue formerly of Streamwood
Services for Lawrence Louis LoBue, 60, most recently of Elgin, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road), Streamwood/ Schaumburg.
Born June 8, 1938, in New Jersey, he died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
He was the husband of Davida LoBue (nee Snedeker); father of Larry LoBue Jr., Janet, Lisa and David Everett; grandfather of Jennifer, Brandon, Krista and Alyssa; brother of Lois (Don) Schwing and Phyllis (the late Joe) Da-Mico; and stepson of Ida LoBue.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Edward E. Melton formerly of Northbrook
A memorial service for Edward E. Melton, 87, of Englewood, Fla., will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, at Faith Lutheran Church, 551 Rotonda Blvd. West, Rotonda West, FL 33947.
Born Jan. 31, 1912, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Hal and Fern (nee Dayton) Melton, he died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, at Bon Secours-Venice Hospital in Florida.
A resident of the Englewood area for 27 years, he was an avid golfer, billiard player, bowler and hunter.
Survivors include his wife, June Melton of Rotonda West; daughters, Susan (Bruce) McFarland of Glenview and Sally (Rich) Grilli of Hartland, Wis.; sons, William (Suzanne) Melton of Arlington Heights, Brian (Sheila) Melton of Libertyville and Scott Melton of Omaha, Neb.; stepsons, Tom (Peg) Scott of Libertyville and Jerry (Marsha) Scott of Venice, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchidlren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kerma J. Melton in 1970.

James A. Menotti of Roselle
Prayers for James A. Menotti, 70, formerly of Franklin Park, willbe said at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd. (three blocks southof Biesterfield Rd.), Elk Grove Village. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Walter Church, Roselle. Interment willbe in All Saints Cemetery.
Born in Chicago, he was the husband of Stephanie (nee Cebrat); father of Nick J. (Donna J.), Sandra Pollitt, Dan (Carol) and Susan R. (Nick) Termini; grandfather of Stefanie, James, Tom, Danny, Wayne, Michael, Joseph and Tony; and uncle and great-uncle of many.

Charline L. Molinari of Des Plaines
Services for Charline L. Molinari (nee Schraeder), 83, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 675 E. Algonquin Rd., Des Plaines. She will lie in state from noon until the time of services.
Born Aug. 23, 1915, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, at St. Matthew Nursing Home. Entombment will be in Mount Emblem Cemetery.
A manager at Illinois Bell for 39 years retiring in 1972, she was a member of Illinois Bell Pioneers and Trinity Lutheran Church.
She was the wife of the late Joseph; aunt of Gary (Lois) Molinari, George (Betty Ann) Molinari and Lynn (Gary) LaBreux; and great-aunt of David and Gregory Molinari, Jason LaBreux and Jennifer (Eric) Lams.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Oehler funeral home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.

Freddie Neal of Elgin
Funeral services for Freddie Neal, 56, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at O'Connor and Homeier Funeral Home, 364 Division St., Elgin, with the Rev. Willie Tate officiating.
Born Aug. 24, 1942, the son of Joseph and Ricie Neal (nee Crawley), he died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital. Interment will be in Bluff City Cemetery.
Mr. Neal was a former employee of Sun Electric of Crystal Lake and Elgin Sweeper Company of Elgin. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Neal, whom he married Dec. 25, 1983, in Elgin; five sons, Fredrick Nela Jr. of Western, Ill., Tyrone (Martha) Stewart of Elgin, John (Margo) Davidson of Elgin, Patrick (Janie) Davidson of Elgin and Ernie Davidson of Chicago; five daughters, Sandra (Lavell) Starke of Carpentersville, Angel Neal of Elgin, Denise Stewart of Elgin, Diane Davidson of Aurora and Beverly Speller of Dixon, Ill.; 28 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of friends including Viola Hatcher and DeLois Townsend of Elgin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; one uncle; and one cousin.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Sidonia O'Donnell of Naperville
A memorial Mass for Sidonia O'Donnell, 82, a resident of Naperville since 1958, will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 26 N. Ellsworth, Naperville.
Born Dec. 10, 1916, in Eugene, Ore., she died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999.
Mrs. O'Donnell graduated in 1939 from the University of Oregon with a liberal arts degree and went on to receive her bachelor of arts degree in nursing in 1943 from Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. As a registered nurse, Mrs. O'Donnell began working at Edward Hospital in 1959, and served as head nurse in the Emergency Room for 22 years. Until recently she had continued to work for the hospital in the medical records department. Mrs.
O'Donnell was also an Army veteran, having served as a nurse cadet during World War II. She was recognized many times during her life with awards for her numerous contributions to Edward Hospital and health care, and also entertained many people with her famous rendition of Phyllis Diller over the years.
Surviving are her sons, James O'Donnell of Naperville and Thomas (Carol) O'Donnell of Woodstock; daughters, Patricia O'Donnell and Kathleen O'Donnell, both of Naperville; brothers, Albert (Dorothy) Balle of Eugene and Joe (Jean) Balle of Tigard, Ore.; and grandchildren, Brandon O'Donnell and Lydia O'Donnell, bothof Woodstock.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mildred (nee Hittingter) Balle; husband, James O'Donnell; and sister, Evelyn Miller.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 117 W. Van Buren, Naperville.

Richard W. Chominski Sr. O. D.
Prayers for Richard W. Chominski Sr., O. D., a lifelong resident of Chicago, will be said at 10:30 a.m. today, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville, with funeral Mass to follow at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in Libertyville.
Born June 12, 1919, in Chicago, Dr. Chominski passed away Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, at West Suburban Medical Center, Oak Park, from complications of Parkinson's Disease. Entombment will follow Mass in All Saints Cemetery Mausoleum, Des Plaines.
Dr. Chominski was a 1947 graduate of the Monroe School of Optometry, now the Illinois College of Optometry, in Chicago. He owned and operated Leonard Optical (retail opticians) and Argus Optical, Inc. (wholesale opticians) in Chicago for more than 50 years. He was a member of St. Stanislaus B & M Parish in Chicago.
Family members include his wife, Genevieve (nee Waselzcyk) of Chicago; four sons, Dr. Leonard Chominski of Chicago, Richard `Father Vladimir' (Susan) Chominski of Elmwood Park, the late Robert Chominski, formerly of Milwaukee, and Paul (Connie) Chominski of Libertyville; granddaughter, Anastasia Chominski of Elmwood Park; and brother, Alexander Chominski of Chicago.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jesse, who was killed in action during World War II in 1944.

Victoria K. Olson of Palatine
Memorial services for Victoria K. Olson (nee Krajewski) will be held at11 a.m. Saturday, at Christ Lutheran Church, 41 S. Rohlwing Road, Palatine.
Interment will be in St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Niles.
Victoria was the loving wife of Walter Olson; devoted mother of Toria (Bill) Emas; and dear sister of Rose (Arthur) Zerfahs and the late Catherine Mathews. She was also the fond aunt of many nephews and nieces and their children.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Saturday, at the church.

Frances J. Peterson of Elgin
Graveside services for Frances J. Peterson, 90, will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, at Dundee Township East Cemetery, East Dundee.
Born July 26, 1908, in Carpentersville, the daughter of Herman and Zuka E. (nee Hendrickson) Peterson, she died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin.
A lifelong resident of the Elgin/Carpentersville areas, she was a lifelong member of the First Congregational Church of Carpentersville and former many year employee of McGraw Edison.
Survivors include her brothers, Clarence (Hum) Peterson of Satellite Beach, Fla. and Ralph (Mildred) Peterson of Carpentersville; nephew, James (Anne) Peterson of Sleepy Hollow; nieces, Sue (William) Palumbo of Colorado and Sandy (Bill) Keyes of California; and great-nieces and nephews, Mia, Ryan, Pamela, Michael, Kathy, Kris and Molly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Peterson; and niece, Judy Odum.
Memorials may be made to the charity of ones choice.
