James Richard "Dick' Galloway

James Richard "Dick" Galloway, 49, McCall, died Oct. 12, 2001, in McCall. Memorial services wil be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, 336 N.W. 7th St., Ontario, with the Rev. Bob Sievers officiating. Arrangemens are under the direction of Lienkaemper Chapel, Ontario.
Dick was born Dec. 4, 1951, in Ontario to Jim and Pauline Galloway. While attending Ontario High School he lettered in basketball, baseball and football.
Following graduation in 1970, he attended the University of Oregon in Eugene, majoring in political science. He graduated with a bacholore's of science degree in 1974. Dick also attended Boise State University for one year.
Following his graduation from UO, he worked as a sales representative in Eugene for Economics Laboratories. He was married to Julie Johnson. The marriage later ended in divorce. For the past eight years Dick had worked in McCall, where he owned and operated Jim's Refrigeration and Heating. For the past six years Dick lived with his closest friend, Susan Dalton.
Dick enjoyed sports, both as a participant and fan, and coached Little League baseball and football, while living in Ontario. He loved youth and took special delight in his nieces and nephews. Music was a special part of Dick's life and he enjoyed all types of music. In earlier years, he loved to fish and hunt with his dad.
Dick is survived by his mother, Pauline Galloway, Ontario, and his sister and brother-in-law, Paul and Bobby Puckett, Ontario; nephew, Jason Stahl, and his wife, Diane, and their children Morgan and Gage; niece, Amiee Hughes, and her husband, Corby, Hermiston; and friend, Susan Dalton, McCall. He is is also survived by numerous auns, uncles, cousins and many, many close friends.
Charles Clair 'Charley' Anderson

New Plymouth - Charles Clair "Charley" Anderson, 86, New Plymouth, passed away, Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, in a Boise hospital. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at the First Baptist Church, New Plymouth. The Rev. Phil Pittman is officiating. Interment will follow at Park View Cemetery, New Plymouth. A viewing will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, New Plymouth. Family will greet friends at the Senior Citizens Center from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 6, 2004. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, New Plymouth.
Charley was born Nov. 21, 1917, to John and Mable (Sweet) Anderson in Mutual, Okla. He graduated from High School as salutatorian form Vici, Okla., in 1935. Charley married Fern Noyes March 24, 1939, in New Plymouth. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the United States and overseas in the Philippine Islands.
He worked for several years as a carpenter and then as a Business Representative for the Local Carpenters Union No. 426. Later in life he formed Koho Sports and sold wholesale fishing and sporting supplies throughout the state. He loved sports. He attended football games and all the boys and girls basketball games on the local, district and state tournaments levels for many decades, he had a life time pass to local games. In his earlier years, he played and coached the New Plymouth City basketball team. He was a member of the local VFW, and was also active in Area three Council of Aging, Democrat Party, and Shiba.
Charley is survived by his wife, Fern, New Plymouth; four daughters, Karen (Ray) Kreps, Emmett, Sherry (Gerald) Elson, New Plymouth, Ardith (Gary) Betzold, Meridian and Dixie (Nelson) McClain, Eden; three sons, Kent (Jeanette) Anderson, Twin Falls, Kip (Kathy) Anderson, Clinton, Utah and Kevin (Janie) Anderson, Emmett; one sister, Nettie (Jim) Wood, Grangeville; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces; nephews; cousins and friends.
Charley was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Anice and two brothers, Dean and Ford.
