SAVANNA, Ill. - Beatrice M. Dauphin, 92, of Savanna, died Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at Big Meadows Nursing Home, Savanna.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
Burial will be in the Savanna Township Cemetery.

Iva F. Parkins
GLEN HAVEN, Wis. - Iva F. Parkins, 95, of Glen Haven, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Martin Page Funeral Home, Bloomington, where friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Dodge Cemetery , Beetown Township.
She was born on March 14, 1907, in Glen Haven Township, daughter of Allen and Edna (Wise) Myers. She married Lloyd Parkins on Nov. 9, 1929, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua, Iowa; he died on June 27, 1998.
She graduated from Bloomington High School in 1925. She was a lifelong member of the Beetown Methodist Church. She loved gardening, especially flowers, crocheting and was a wonderful cook. She dearly loved her family. Her cat, Snuff, was her best friend.
Surviving are two children, Mary Jane Ley, of Potosi, and Maurice (Carol) Parkins, of Glen Haven; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Stanley (Edith) Parkins, of Bloomington.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and a son-in-law, Donald P. Ley.
Minnie M. Kinmonth
BELLEVUE, Iowa - Minnie Marie Kinmonth, 95, of Bellevue, died Thursday morning, Nov. 21, 2002, at Mill Valley Care Center, Bellevue.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Bellevue, with the Rev. Paul Gammelin officiating. The family will welcome friends after 1:30 p.m. Monday at the church. At her request, her body was deeded to science. The Kingery Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bellevue, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kinmonth was a Jackson County school teacher for two years, prior to being a cosmetologist, working in beauty shops in Davenport and Bellevue.
She was born on Aug. 30, 1907, in Bellevue, daughter of Henry Albert and Anna Amanda (Kuhlman) Beeler. She married Donald S. Kinmonth on Jan. 15, 1932, in Aledo, Ill.; he died in 1981.
She was a graduate of Bellevue High School. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Bellevue. She enjoyed basketball, baseball, cooking, gardening and doingembroidery. She loved her family very much.
Surviving are a son, George (Ruth) Kinmonth, of Bellevue; a daughter, Greta (Richard) Dagitz, of Bellevue; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Vera Griebel, of Bellevue.
She also was preceded in death by three sisters, Katherine, Gladys and Erma; and a brother, Henry.
The family requests no flowers.
Helen M. Lillibridge
GUTTENBERG, Iowa - Helen Marie "Reet" (Bradley) Lillibridge, 90, of Guttenberg, formerly of the Elgin, Ill., and St. Charles, Ill., area, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002, at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital.
Private graveside services were held in Union Cemetery , St. Charles, by the Salvation Army Tri-City Corp. The Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Guttenberg, was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lillibridge was a business secretary for hospital and election unions for many years.
She was born on April 5, 1912, in Dubuque, daughter of James and Margaret (Mulholland) Bradley.
She graduated from Dubuque Senior High School, class of 1930, and attended Dubuque Secretarial Business College.
She enjoyed volunteer work for the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital, watching Perry Mason and was an avid Cubs fan.
Surviving are a son, James (Monica) Niemeyer, of Guttenberg; two grandchildren, Michael Niemeyer and Christina (Todd) Wenger; and three great-grandchildren, Andrew and Alexander Niemeyer and Nicholas Klaes.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Milton "Mick" Niemeyer and Duane Lillibridge; a granddaughter, Mary Ann Niemeyer; two sisters; and three brothers.
Rev. Robert L. Palen
MAQUOKETA, Iowa - The Rev. Robert L. Palen, 86, of Oak Brook, Ill., formerly of Maquoketa, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, at Hinsdale (Ill.) Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Maquoketa, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 8 a.m. Saturday at the church. The Haylock-O'Hara & Lahey Funeral Home, Maquoketa, is in charge of arrangements.
He was born on Oct. 14, 1916, in Minneapolis, son of Leo F. Palen and Besse (Koch) Palen.
After graduating from Loras College, Dubuque, he studied theology at Innsbruck, Austria, and Sion, Switzerland. Because of World War II, he completed his studies at the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C.
Father Palen was ordained on June 7, 1941, at St. Raphael's Cathedral by Archbishop Francis J. Beckman. He served as an associate at Sacred Heart Parish, Dubuque, from 1941 to 1948. His pastorates include St. Patrick's, Parkersburg, 1948-1950; St. Joseph's, Harpers Ferry, 1950-1952; St. Mary's, Strawberry Point, 1952-1962; St. Boniface's, Garner, 1962-1970; and Sacred Heart, Maquoketa, from 1970 until his retirement in 1982.
While in the archdiocese, Father Palen was active in conducting high school, college, seminary and laymen's retreats. In his pastorates, he supervised the building of the church at Strawberry Point, the CCD school at Garner and the church-rectory complex at Maquoketa.
Since his retirement, Father Palen served as a substitute at St. Simeon's, Bellwood, Ill., St. Giles, Oak Park, Ill., St. Luke's, River Forest, Ill., St. Joseph's, Downers Grove, Ill., and Ascension of Our Lord Church, Oak Brook Terrace, Ill.
Surviving are a sister, Virginia P. Long, and a brother, William E. Palen, both of Dixon, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Sacred Heart Parish.
Ellen Rotramel
STITZER, Wis. - Ellen Rotramel, 88, of Stitzer, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002, at Boscobel (Wis.) Area Health Care.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Stitzer United Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Larson Family Funeral Home, Fennimore.
Beverly S. Eicher
Beverly S. Eicher, 80, of 17237 Middle Road, died at 7:14 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, where friends may call after 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Eicher worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for Theisen's in Dubuque until her retirement in 1981. After her retirement, she briefly worked at Hy-Vee in Dubuque.
She was born on July 9, 1922, in Dows, Iowa, daughter of Walter and Ila (Quasdorf) Erickson. She was raised on the family farm in Dows. She married Joseph O. Eicher on March 4, 1945, in Hot Springs, Ark.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph; two daughters, Zona (Richard) Arvig, of Forest Lake, Minn., and Denice (Rick) Wiedner, of Camanche, Iowa; five grandchildren Nicole, Aaron, Adam, Robyn Ann and Rachel; three step grandchildren, Jeremiah, Timothy and Sarah; a brother, Arlyn Erickson; and three sisters, Marjorie Pals, Donna Latch and Judy Anderson.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Algaline Eicher and Virginia Siemens.
