NEVA A. BEISEL
MASON CITY - Neva A. Beisel, 96, of 704 N. Jackson Ave., died Tuesday (Jan. 25, 2000) at the Heritage Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania Ave., with the Rev. Kenneth Hatland officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Hogan Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E. Mason City.
Neva was born on March 25, 1905 on a farm near Cylinder, Iowa, the daughter of Vincent and Martha (Gohr) Higley. She attended country school and was confirmed in the German Lutheran Church in Fairville, Iowa. She moved to Mason City with her parents in 1917 and attended city school.
Neva was united in marriage to Reinhard Beisel in July of 1921 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Mason City.
She was a lifelong homemaker and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the Royal Neighbors of America.
Neva is survived by two sons, Everett Beisel, of Mason City and Harold Beisel, of Magnolia, Texas; one daughter, Betty Bratrud, of Kensett; five grandchildren, Gloria Warren and her husband, John, of Shafter, Calif., Jean Oltjenbrun and her husband, Larry, of Reed Springs, Mo., Jane Johanns and her husband, Everett, of Mason City, Jeff Beisel and his wife, Robin, of Tomball, Texas and Jeanette Parks, of Magnolia, Texas; 10 great-grandchildren, Sam Katter and his wife, Nikki, of Garner, Rhonda Falbab and her husband, Chris, of St. Louis, Mo., Bryan Oltjenbrun and his wife, Lisa, of White Bear Township, Minn., Jody Schulz and her husband, Jason, of Mason City, Chris Bentzin and his special friend, Nikki Gahsen, of Mason City, Andy Bratrud, of Milford, Neb., Shawn and Shawna Parks, of Magnolia, Texas and Michelle and Tara Beisel, of Tomball, Texas; and three great-great-grandchildren, Taylor Jean Parks, Dylan Oltjenbrun and Rayne Benson.
Neva was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, three brothers; two grandsons, Mark and Howard Beisel; one great-granddaughter, Judy Bratrud; one grandson-in-law, Michael Benson; one son-in-law, Orrin Bratrud; and two daughters-in-law, Eleanor and Alvena Beisel.

TERRY J. STOFFER
WEST DES MOINES - Terry J. Stoffer, 53, of 325 34th St., West Des Moines, died Tuesday (Jan. 25, 2000) at his home.
Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the West Des Moines United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Alexander Cemetery , Alexander, at a later date.
Terry was born in Alexander and had lived in Des Moines for 30 years. He was self employed as Stoffer Communication Strategies, L.L.C.
He was a member of the American Marketing Association, Advertising Professionals of Des Moines and Delta Tau Delta.
He loved his pets, boating, gardening, cooking and watching movies.
He is survived by a son, Alan Stoffer, of West Des Moines; and one sister, Cindy Reynolds, of West Des Moines.
Memorials may be given to the Animal Rescue League or The American Heart Association.

PAUL H. COTY
CEDAR RAPIDS - Paul H. Coty, 90, a former Mason City resident, died Saturday (Jan. 22, 2000) at the Willow Gardens Care Center in Cedar Rapids.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 Second St. S.E., Mason City, with the Rev. Paul Coty III officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. today at Fullerton Funeral Home and continue from 9 a.m. until time of services on Friday.
Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to direct memorials to the Paul Coty Memorial Fund.
Paul was born Nov. 23, 1909 the son of Paul and Margaret (Wilhelm) Coty in Cleveland, Ohio. He was united in marriage to Spizie Farley on June 21, 1937 in East Moline, Ill. Paul was an auto detailer for many years at Sedars Motor Company before moving to the Quad Cities.
Paul was an avid reader of history. He was also an enthusiastic major league baseball fan who enjoyed watching the
Minnesota Twins or the St. Louis Cardinals play.
Those thankful for having shared in Paul's life include his wife, Spizie of Iowa City; five daughters, Beverly Burrell and her husband, James, of Cedar Rapids, Pauletta Kipper of Iowa City, Dianna Bowers and her husband, Willie, of Iowa City, Andrea Coty, of Omaha, Neb. and Carolyn Coty, of Mason City; six sons, Paul H. Coty Jr. and his wife, Fran, of Baltimore, Md., Dwight Coty, of Spokane, Wash., Ralph Coty, of Iowa City, Michael Coty and his friend, Pat Ferleman, of Mason City, Joseph Coty and his wife, Sharon, of Chicago, Ill. and Pierre Coty, of Minneapolis, Minn.
Mr. Coty was preceded in death by his parents; and one daughter, Pauline Coty.

NASHUA - Jack A. Angell, 55, of Nashua, died Monday evening (Jan. 24, 2000) suddenly at his home near Nashua of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Nashua.

MASON CITY - Pauline L. McCourt, 85, of 806 16th N.E., Mason City, died Wednesday (Jan. 26, 2000) at Good Shepherd Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 29, at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 Second St. S.E. , with the Rev. Kenneth Hatland of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

EVELYN A. JORDE
OSAGE - Evelyn A. Jorde, 92, of Osage, died Wednesday (Jan. 26, 2000) at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Osage.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 833 Ash St., Osage, with the Rev. Dennis Hanson and the Rev. Roy Ott officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Champion Funeral Home, 702 State St. Osage.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, Karl, of Osage; a daughter, Karen Ristau and her husband, Arlyn, of Waverly and their sons, Randy Ristau, of Missoula, Mont. and Christopher Ristau and his wife, Tina, of Denver; a son, Erik Jorde and his wife, Sally, of Longview, Wash.; a sister, Beulah Banbury, of Minneapolis, Minn.; brothers, Arly Blomsness, of Baraboo, Wis. and Dale Blomsness, of Apple Valley, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers.

MARGARET A. JENISON
MASON CITY - Margaret A. Jenison, 71, died Friday (Jan. 21, 2000) at the Nora Springs Care Center.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 Second St. S.E., with Charles Caponi officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at the Belmond Cemetery.
A gathering will be held from noon until time of service at the funeral home on Saturday.
Margaret was born April 10, 1928, the daughter of C. J. and Ella (Himber) Dunlavey in Mason City. She graduated from St. Joseph High School with the Class of 1947.
On March 21, 1959 Margaret was united in marriage to Greydon K. Jenison in Nashua. She was a faithful employee of the Northwestern Bell for 34 1/2 years until her retirement on Dec. 31, 1983.
Margaret enjoyed golfing, playing poker and going fishing in
Minnesota and Canada.
Margaret is survived by one sister, Dorothy O'Hern, of Mason City; one brother, Francis Dunlavey, of Mason City; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Jenison was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Greydon in 1994.

MASON CITY - Jennie P. Barlas, 96, of 125 S. Jackson Ave., died Wednesday (Jan. 26, 2000) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church, 1311 Second St. S.W., Mason City, with the Rev. Joseph Mirowski officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery.
Vistitation will begin at 4:30 p.m. Friday at the Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church, 1311 Second St. S.W., with a Trisagion service at 6:30 p.m.

MASON CITY - Kathryn "Billie" R. Scharlau, 87, of 203 S. Monroe Ave., died Wednesday (Jan. 26, 2000) at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.
