Barbara G. Wilds, 72, passed away Monday evening, November 26, 2007, at the Tattnall Health Care in Reidsville. The California native had lived in Reidsville since 1962 and was a seamstress.
She is survived by her husband, Aubrey Wilds of Reidsville; daughter, Carol Hargett of Reidsville; three sons and daughter - in - law, Johnny Ashton Mincey, III, Sam Hunter and Tonya Beth Mincey of Collins and Jesse Zack Sisson of Sylvania; brother, Blynn Smith of Reidsville; five grandchildren, Tina Waters, Sam and Tara Mincey, and Jase and Renee Mincey; four great - grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home in Reidsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, November 29 from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Stoney Hill Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Thurman Williams, Jr., 45
Thurman Williams, Jr., 45, passed away Monday night, November 26, 2007, in Reidsville. The North Carolina native had lived in Florida many years moving to Reidsville four years ago. He was a roofer.
He is survived by his parents, Thurman “Jack” and Carrie Williams of Hartsville, TN; daughter, Caitlyn Williams of SC; sister, Pam Vincent of Homestead, FL; five brothers, Truman Joseph Vincent of Conyers, Daniel Jefferson Vincent of Loganville, Jack Steven Vincent of Hartsville, TN, Randall Darris Vincent of Chapmansboro, TN, and James Leonard Williams of Hartsville, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, November 29 at Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 30 at 2:00 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Reverend Marc Foster officiating. Interment will follow in the Little Flock Church Cemetery.

Rev. Ethel Pearl Ealey - Nichols, 68
Reverend Ethel Pearl Ealey - Nichols was born March 9, 1939, in Collins, GA. She was the fourth of seven children born to the late Jeremiah and Eunice Ealey. She graduated from Tattnall County Industrial High School in Reidsville. After high school, she moved to Cincinnati, OH, married
and became the mother of twins. After her retirement, she obtained an associate degree in liberal arts at Chatfield College in Cincinnati. After several studies in Christian Education, she became an ordained minister in Power and Faith Ministries, in Cincinnati. She was instrumental in leading many people to Jesus Christ. However, children’s ministry was her primary focus.
She is survived by her husband, Odie Nichols; son, Reverend Samuel Canty (Natalie); daughter, Sonja McIntosh of Cincinnati; two brothers, Reverend Herschel Alvin Ealey of Pembroke Pines, FL; Reverend James Hosea Ealey (Polly) of Detroit, MI; four sisters, Pearlie Inez Forrest of Collins, GA, Rubye Mae Florence (Robert) of Dayton, OH, Mary Helen Goines of Cincinnati, OH, Geraldine Banks (Rev. Ron), Hamilton, OH; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Jasmine McIntosh of Cincinnati; godson, Freddie Pough, Jr. (Erika) of Atlanta, GA and several nephews, nieces and relatives.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 24, 2007, at James Temple Church of God In Christ in Cincinnati, Ohio with Reverend Samuel Canty and Reverend Ron Banks officiating.

Eulas Lamb, 85
Eulas Lamb, 85, died Saturday November 17, 2007, at Community Hospice in Vidalia.
The native of Toombs County lived most of his life in the Collins area. He attended the Collins Baptist Church, loved spending time in his garden and yard.
He is survived by his wife Mildred Lamb; children, Brenda Banks of Statesboro, Connie Heckel of Vidalia, Timie Lamb of Daisy and Danny Lamb of Claxton; brother, Howard Lamb; stepchildren, Betty Ivey of Dunn, NC, Mary Lou Moore of Savannah, Linda Turner and Lessie Barron of Collins, William Outler of Savannah, Wayne Outler of Sandersville; 23 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and five great great - grandchildren
Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 20, 2007, at Morgan Family Funeral Home Chapel, and burial followed in the Cedar Creek Cemetery.

Minnie Lee Parker, 92
Minnie Lee Parker, 92, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2007, at Glenvue Nursing Home. She was born in Tattnall County on September 28, 1915, and lived in the Glennville area most of her life. She and her husband operated Beard’s Bluff - Adamson’s Fish Camp for many years. She was a homemaker and member of Pigott Branch Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 76 years, Tommie Parker of Glennville; special sister - in - law, Alma Haggerty of Hinesville; stepmother, Mamie Milton of Ludowici; half - brothers, Larry Milton and Emmett Milton, both of Ludowici; half - sisters, Annie Sue Helms and Betty Way, both of Hinesville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held November 20, 2007, at Pigott Branch Baptist Church cemetery with Reverend James Young officiating.

James H. Williams, 87, passed away Sunday, November 18 in Seminole, FL.
The Tattnall County native left this area in 1938. He was retired from Washington Gas and Light Service in Washington, DC, after 45 years of service.
He is survived by a son, James Paul Williams of Seminole, FL and daughter, Christina Williams of Garland, TX.
Funeral services were held November 21, 2007, at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel in Claxton. Burial followed at Anderson Church Cemetery.

Ruby Lee Boyette Conner, 79
Ruby Lee Boyette Conner, 79, died Tuesday in Valdosta. The Tattnall County native was the daughter of the late Rastus and Fannie Boyette. She lived in Brunswick many years before moving to Lake Park, GA, in 2005. Ruby lee loved gardening, reading and was a Cub Scout leader when her son was young. She was a member of the Pine Ridge Baptist Church and the widow of Herbert Conner.
She is survived by two sons and daughter - in - law, H. LaDon and Cynthia Conner of Lake Park, GA and Daryl Lee Conner of Dallas, TX; a granddaughter, Connie Lynn Conner of Lake Park; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 10, 2007, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel. Burial followed in the Old Anderson cemetery near Collins.

David Deloach, 55
Mr. David Deloach, 55, passed away Friday evening, November 9, 2007, at Carl Vinson’s VA Medical Center. The Ft. Lauderdale native had lived in Collins for the past four years. He was a heavy equipment operator and a musician. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Reidsville United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his son, Jessee Anderson of Florida; mother, Mrs. Jane Deloach of Collins; sister, Sissy Deloach of Collins; brother, Dewey Deloach of Ohio; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside funeral services were held Wednesday at the Georgia Veterans Memorial cemetery in Milledgeville with Reverend Marc Foster officiating.

Gloria Mae Frazier - Deloach, 51
Gloria Mae Frazier - Deloach, 51, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2007, at Glenvue Nursing Home in Glennville, GA.
She is survived by her daughter, Loretta Bell Stewart; son - in - law, Dennis Lewis Stewart; two grandchildren, Dennis Laquanté Stewart and Delayia Angele Stewart all of Glennville; five brothers, Otto James (Rose) Roundtree of Soperton, James Frazier Jr. of Darien, Willie Lee Roundtree of Lumber City, Jimmy Frazier of Brunswick and David Frazier. Her husband, Arron Deloach; mother, Mary Lue Roundtree Frazier and sister, Shirley Ann Frazier preceded her in death.
A wake will be held Thursday, November 15, 2007, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at King and Sons Funeral Home in Glennville. Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 16, 2007, at 12:00 noon at St. James A.M.E. Church with Reverend Sharlene Woodruff Hendley and Bishop Caverous J. Boggs officiating. Burial will follow at Sandhill Cemetery.
