Alma S. Jordan
REIDSVILLE -- Mrs. Alma Sims Jordan, 90, died Nov. 7 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.
She was a native of Clyde and lived in Reidsville for many years. She taught first grade in Reidsville from 1942 until her retirement a few years ago. She was a member of Reidsville United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and was a member and taught various times the Tommy Thompson Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Reidsville Grand Rascallettes. She was the widow of Clarence Jordan.
SURVIVORS: a daughter, Marion Hinson of Isle of Palms, S.C.; four brothers, Watson Sims of Ashville, N.C., Leon Sims of Doraville, John M. Sims of Hapeville and Enan Sims of Atlanta; three sisters, Vera Thomas of Jacksonville, Fla., Ima Job of Jonesboro and Liz Ullyot of Vallejo, Calif.; two grandsons, Sean Hinson of Summerville, S.C., and Patrick Hinson of Greenville, N.C.; several nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Charles D. King
Charles D. King died Nov. 2 at Candler Hospital.
He was born in Savannah and was an exterminator.
SURVIVORS: a son, Darius King of Savannah; his mother and stepfather, Catherine King Davis and Arthee Davis; a sister, Letitia King of Hinesville; and three brothers, Clifton King of Cobbtown, Willie King of Tacoma, Wash., and O'Vanual Walker of Colorado.

Harry E. Kitchen
ORMOND BEACH, Fla. -- Harry E. Kitchen died Nov. 5.
The native of Augusta, Ga., played football for and graduated from Richmond Academy in Augusta. He served in the Navy from World War to 1948. For 22 years, he was in retail advertising with the Atlanta Journal & Constitution and then worked at the Orlando Sentinel until retiring.
Later, he worked for five years at Saturn of Orlando. He moved to Ormond Beach three years ago. He served as president of the Ormond Breakers Condominium Association.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Laura; a son and daughter-in-law, Harry E. and Charlotte Kitchen of Savannah; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Rick Harrington of Deltona; a stepson, Daryl Smith of Ludowici, Ga.; two stepdaughters, Carol Bomkamp of Hinesville, Ga., and Cheryl Horne of Knoxville, Tenn.; his stepmother, Rubye Kitchen of Augusta; a brother, Albert B. George Edward Martin, 73, died Nov. 4 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was a native of Cobbtown and a longtime resident of Savannah. He attended Sharon Park Church of God and retired from Boilermaker Local No. 26.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Yulee A. Martin of Richmond Hill; a stepdaughter, Cecilia Norton of Savannah; a stepson, Ernie Hadwin of Savannah; brothers, Johnny Martin of Claxton and Phillip Martin of Pembroke; a sister, Beaulah Robbins of Palatka, Fla.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Freddie Mae Miller, 54, died Nov. 6 at home.
She was a native of Savannah and attended public schools of Chatham County.

Joe Ed Morris
Joe Ed Morris, 61, died Nov. 3 at Emory University.
The Huntsville, Ala., native lived in Savannah the past 30 years. He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. He was a restaurant manager and the owner of Your House Restaurant in Savannah.
He was a member of the Navy League, the Elks Lodge, the Sertoma Club, the Chatham County Exchange Club and the Hardeeville Lodge No. 348, F&AM.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Joyce Fischer-Morris of Huntsville; two sons, Mike and Eric Morris, both of Huntsville; a daughter, Gail Morris of Huntsville; brothers, Rex, Raymond, Kenneth and Warren Morris, all of Huntsville; sisters, Joyce Pettey of Huntsville, Faye Williams of Atlanta and Betty Bolander of Knoxville, Tenn.; and a granddaughter.

Mina Mulrain
HILTON HEAD ISLAND -- Mina Mulrain died Nov. 5 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah.
The native of Clifton, N.J., attended New York University and the University of South Carolina Beaufort. She moved to Hilton Head Island in 1978 from Memphis, Tenn. She was a member of St. Andrew by the Sea Methodist Church, and historian of the church and the UMW for many years and a member of the administrative board. She was a longtime member of the Board of Friends of the Library. She was historian for Plantation Garden Club and for the Bookmarkers, a Bargain Box volunteer, WHHR Islander of the Day and the mayor's guest of the month.
She was a docent of the Memphis Museum and had lived in Venezuela. She was an avid gardener and a member of Sea Pines Country Club, Hilton Head Island Women's Club, Plantation Garden Club and other groups.
SURVIVORS: her husband, Sam; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Cathy; four grandchildren, Jeffry, John, Spencer and Mary Ann; and a daughter-in-law, Joanelle.
INURNMENT: 2 p.m. Thursday in Beaufort National Cemetery.

Vlad D. Roberson, infant of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Robertson of Savannah, died Nov. 6 at Candler Hospital.
The baby was a native of Savannah.
