Bruce Douglas (Doug) Clontz, died April 1, 2008. He is survived by his children; Lindsi Clontz of Dallas, Coty Clontz of Locust Grove, Jeffrey (Kristi) Dobbs of Newnan, Jason Dobbs of Locust Grove, Father; Bob Clontz of Candler, North Carolina, Stepfather; Hoyt Mull of Williamson, Siblings; Robbie Clontz of Candler, North Carolina, Glenn Clontz of McDonough, Mimi (David) McDonald of Jackson, Missy Tetrault of Monticello, Polly Young of Alabama, Nathan Mull of Williamson; two grandchildren; Autumn Conn of Dallas and Evone Dobbs of Dora, Alabama.
Services were held April 5, Pastor Don of Sacred Journey Hospice officiated. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough. Cremation Society of the South in charge of arrangements.
Mildred (Millie) Pipkin
Mildred (Millie) Pipkin, age 82, of McDonough, Georgia died April 1, 2008. She was born
in Electra, Texas to the late Robert Henry and Ruth Bowman Tilley. Mrs. Pipkin was a member of the First Baptist Church of McDonough and the Faith Sunday School Class. She retired from South Fulton Hospital in 1988. Most important to her was her family. She was a wonderful wife and a caring mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Pipkin is survived by her husband of 62 years, John Andrew Pipkin, Sr. of McDonough; children, Andy (Kathy) Pipkin of Stock-bridge, Ruth Anne (C. W.) Smith of McDonough, Bill Pipkin of Jonesboro, Bob (Beth) Pipkin of Dalton, Rod (Eve) Pipkin of McDonough; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services were held on April 3 at First Baptist Church of McDonough with Dr. Charles Thomas officiating. Interment Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 101 Macon Street, McDonough, Georgia 30253. Billy Stewart
Billy Stewart, age 58, of Hampton, Georgia died April 2, 2008. He was born
in Griffin to the late Bertie Samuel and Jewel Stewart Stewart.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Stewart; sons, Jonathan (Stacey) Stewart of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Joshua Stewart of Hampton; and brother, Jimmy D. Stewart.
Services were held on Friday, April 4 at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Dr. Buddy Perstrope officiating. Interment Berea Cemetery. John Thomas Lyle
Mr. John Thomas Lyle, age 49 of Locust Grove, Georgia died April 2, 2008. John was born
in Atlanta, son of the late William Albert Lyle Jr. and the late Anne Elliott Lyle. John was a very loving, generous person who enjoyed making model cars, watching old Western movies, and tinkering with just about anything.
Survivors include his siblings, Penny Worley of Connecticut, Paul (Teresa) Lyle of Morrow, Susan (Juan) Sanchez of Griffin, and Jeff Lyle of Locust Grove; nieces and nephews, Barry Hobby, Duke Williams, Bunny Dunn, Katherine Scott, David Lyle, Ben St. John, Christine Williams, Becky Mosley, and Timothy Lyle; numerous great nieces and nephews.
Services were held April 7 at the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Light officiating. Interment Locust Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Dorothy Dial Bryan
Mrs. Dorothy Dial Bryan, age 89 of McDonough, Georgia died April 3, 2008. She was born
in Atlanta to the late Oscar and Mattie Lou Cheney Dial. She retired after 27 years with the State of Georgia, having worked for the Georgia State Patrol and Medicaid. Dorothy was a member of Salem Baptist Church and enjoyed baking, arts and crafts and spending time with all of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Francis Bryan and her son, Larry Bryan.
Survivors include her daughter in law, Ginger Bryan of McDonough; grandchildren, Sean (Jennifer) Bryan of Colorado, Deborah (Russell Hicks) Gorby of Florida; great grandchildren, Brandy Gorby, Taylor Bryan, Austin Bryan and Emma Bryan; great-great granddaughter, Shay Gorby.
Services were held April 7 at the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Statham officiating. Interment Eastview Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Salem Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Mrs. Bryan. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Kenneth Ray Reynolds
Kenneth Ray Reynolds, age 49, of Hampton, Georgia died Friday, April 4, 2008. He was born
in Bennettsville, South Carolina to the late Earnest Harrison and Sarah Elizabeth Therrell Rey-nolds. Mr. Reynolds was employed with Mid-South Lumber Company.
Survivors include his wife Lisa; children, Stephanie Reynolds, Amy (Travis) Sollsberger, and Tracy Reynolds, all of Hampton; granddaughter, Jade Sollsberger; siblings, Debbie (Bob) Hoban of Eustis, Florida, Mitchell (Eva) Reynolds of Jackson, Michael Reynolds of Hampton, Robert Reynolds, and Leta Kay Reynolds, both of Atlanta; mother-in-law, Lois Walsh; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his Mid-South Lumber family.

Dean Rodney Sammons
Mr. Dean Rodney Sammons, age 42 of Stockbridge, Georgia died April 4, 2008. He was born
in Atlanta to the late William Ezra and Audrey Harrison Sammons. Dean was a heating and air contractor and enjoyed skateboarding, fishing, the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs. He was preceded in death by a sister, Gail Chesser and his mother-in-law, Nellie M. Gates.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Gates of Stockbridge; siblings, Roxanne Nation, Susie McElroy, and William Sammons, Jr.; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Agnes and Bill Ruckman, Frank Gates, George Vernon Gates; niece, Sherri (Vaughn) Roberson; numerous other nieces and nephews.
