Brenda Lois Long
Mrs. Brenda Lois Long, age 57, of McDonough, Georgia died August 10, 2008. Mrs. Long was born
in Lynchburg, Virginia, the daughter of the late Virginia Shields and Jesse Asbury Long. Mrs. Long had been a warehouse supervisor for Cardinal Health Care for 38 years. She was a member of Ephesus Primitive Baptist Church in Rincon. Brenda enjoyed her grandson and family, sewing, traveling and was known for her award winning porcelain dolls. She was a member of The Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Avery.
Survivors include her husband, Ed Pesina of McDonough; son, Andrew Charles Long and wife, Annmarie Veronica Paczka-Long of Albany; grandson, Andrew Charles Catfish Long, II of Albany; sisters, Patricia Sherrod of Guyton, Linda and Richard McCauley of Pooler; special niece, Terrie Collins of Bloomingdale; numerous other nieces and nephews.

Jimmy Ingram
Mr. Jimmy Ingram, age 55, of McDonough, Georgia died July 28, 2008. Jimmy was born
in Fulton County. He was a loving father, who enjoyed his children, hunting, the ocean, animals, being a mechanic and was known for being a jack-of-all-trades. He was preceded in death by his father, James Ottis Ingram and a brother, Harry Ingram. Survivors include his children, Serena Ingram of Stockbridge, Keegan Ingram and Malinda Ingram of Locust Grove; mother, Marie Ingram of McDonough; brothers, Doug Ingram of McDonough and Olson Ingram of Stockbridge; several nieces and nephews. Marvin "Pop" Davis
Mr. Marvin "Pop" Davis, age 97, of McDonough, Georgia died, July 29, 2008. He was born
in McCrae to the late Troy Webb and Taggie Davis Webb. Pop, as many would call him, had been barbering since 1930. He had shops in Clayton and Henry Counties. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Forest Park Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his children, Marvin and Pat Davis of Senoia, Ann Bossie of Stockbridge, Jean A. and Mickey Ramey of McDonough, Ted and Penny Davis of Jeffersonville; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Gladys and J.C. Buttram of Ellenwood, and Gussie Rowse of Charleston, South Carolina. Services were held July 31 at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Rev. David Brown officiating. Norman Andrew Bain
Mr. Norman Andrew Bain, age 75, of McDonough, Georgia died August 2, 2008. He was born
in Charlottesville, Virginia to the late Edward H. and Katherine Kirk Bain. Mr. Bain was a member of the Flippen United Methodist Church, where he taught Sunday school for many years. He was an avid reader and a member of the Toatsmasters Club. He retired as a computer programmer, and later worked at the McDonough library. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Kirk Bain, Tommy Bain, and Harry Bain. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Jane Bain of McDonough; sons, David Bain of Atlanta, Stephen Bain and his wife Leigh Ann of McDonough, Michael Bain and his wife Katie of Atlanta; grandson Jackson Bain; sister, Elizabeth Bain of Baltimore, Maryland; brothers, Dick Bain of Williamsburg, Virginia, Dan Bain of Charlottesville, Virginia, Edward Bain of Bates-ville, Virginia, George Bain of Athens, Ohio, Frank Bain of Richmond, Virginia. Services were held August 4 at Flippen United Methodist Church with Rev. Tim Emmett and Rev. Gary DeMore officiating. Interment Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Jackie Copeland
Mr. Jackie Copeland, age 59, of McDonough, Georgia died August 2, 2008. He was born
in West Plains, Missouri to the late Leonard Pearl and Iva Myrtle Williams Copeland. Jackie was the owner of Millenium Cabinets in Jonesboro for seven years. He was loved by many and will be missed by everyone. He touched the hearts of everyone that came in contact with him and we are grateful for all the days we were blessed with his smile. He is now with the angels and free from pain. Survivors include daughter, Charlotte Bellefleur of McDonough, son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Tracy Copeland of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Justin and Tyler Bellefleur, Jillian, Rebekah, Kiley, and Brandon Copeland; sister, Regina Sanford of Texas ; brother, Billy Copeland of Texas ; four nieces, Elizabeth Santiago of Lawrenceville, Lisa Burnes of Woodstock, Pamela Carson of Alabama, Michelle Castello of Alabama; nephew, James Collins; and certainly but not least, Roy and Anita Neal, lifetime friends. Ronnie Lee Stell
Mr. Ronnie Lee Stell, age 59, of Stockbridge, Georgia died August 2, 2008. He was born
on March 18, 1949 in Atlanta. Mr. Stell loved his chocolate candy, lime sherbert, playing games and always wanted to learn new things. He loved the Lord and was a loving husband, father and granddaddy. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Collier. Survivors include his wife, Betty of Stockbridge; daughters, Cindy Lynn (Kyle) Swope of Ellenwood and Christy Renee (Doug) Kubach, Kath-leen; grandchildren, Annabelle, Cameron and Courtney; uncles, Ronald Lowery, Clarance Lowery, and Amos Lowery. Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors. Mr. Gary Parker, age 45, of Stockbridge, Georgia died August 3, 2008. He was born
in Atlanta to the late Donald J. and Irene L. Howe Parker. Gary liked to go to Six Flags and Stone Mountain. Most important to him was spending time with friends and family. Survivors include his brother, Barry Alan and Cassie Parker of McDonough; nephews, Clinton A. Parker and B. Mitchell Parker, Christopher Bradley Parker; grandmother, Annette L. Lorene Nancy Maze
Mrs. Lorene Nancy Maze, age 85, of McDonough, Georgia died August 4, 2008. She was born
in Cullman, Alabama to the late Sam J. and Rinthia Bailey Williams. Lorene worked for many years at Zack’s Big Buy Grocery, Chafin’s Cleaners and the Night Owl. She attended Oakland Baptist Church and enjoyed her plants and flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge C. Maze and by brothers, Lowell and Frederick Williams. Survivors include her sister, Ethel Hallman of Cullman, Alabama; many nieces and nephews; caregivers and friends, Charles and Terri Vickery of McDonough. George "Dewey" Evans
Mr. George "Dewey" Evans, age 79, of McDonough, Georgia died July 18, 2008. He was born
in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late William J. and Ada E. Appling Evans. Mr. Evans worked for Nussman, American Refrigeration Contractors, Patterson Enterprises of Jacksonville, Florida, and the Stellar Group of Jacksonville, Florida. His brothers William "Bill" and Robert "Bob" Evans also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Doris "Dot" Evans of McDonough; children, Jackie McDaniel and Charles McDaniel, both of Morristown, Tennessee, Denise Smith of Panama City, Florida, Michael Turner and Deborah Turner, both of McDonough, James "Jimmy" Evans of Stockbridge, Toni Varner of Dalzel, South Carolina, Wesley Turner and Donna Turner, both of Milford, Iowa, Joni Ballen of Carrollton; 13 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Frances Mangum of Montgomery, Alabama, Charlotte "Lamb" Ronald of Tucker, Alabama; a host of nieces and nephews.

Aubrey D. Murdock
Mr. Aubrey D. Murdock, age 61, of McDonough, Georgia passed away July 22, 2008. He was born
in Atlanta to Audie Bass Murdock and the late A.B. Murdock. He served his country in the United States Army and retired after 35 years with J.C. Penney. He enjoyed time with his family, fishing, watching football and movies, and playing video games.
Survivors include his wife of almost 40 years, Martha Smith Murdock of McDonough; daughter, Kim (Rick) Wilson of McDonough; mother, Audie McLean of Enterprise, Alabama; sisters, Diane Compton of Dacula, Betty McLean of McDonough; several nieces and nephews.
