Conner Warren Pym
Master Conner Warren Pym, infant son of Melissa and Devon Pym of Hampton, Georgia died August 3, 2008. He is also survived by grandparents, Vern and Gail Bechtel of Bushnell, Florida and Edna and Warren Pym of Vero Beach, Florida; great grandparents, Lenore Parrott of Denville, New Jersey, Claire and Warren Pym of Hackettstown, New Jersey, Helen Collins of Fruitland Park, Florida and Judith Bechtel of Leesburg, Florida; aunt, Caitlin Harris of Vero Beach, Florida; Uncle, Michael Bechtel of Bushnell, Florida and several cousins. Mass was held August 8 at St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Jose Kochuparampil officiating. Interment Haisten at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Bernard Olsen
Dr. Bernard Olsen, age 89, of Stockbridge, Georgia died August 4, 2008. A longtime resident of Raleigh, North Carolina, he moved to assisted living at Dogwood Forest in Stockbridge in February of 2001. Dr. Olsen was born
and reared in Chicago. He served in the US Army during World War II. It was during this time in Australia that he met his future wife, Irene Wilson. After the war, they married
and moved to Chicago where Bernie entered the University of Chicago in 1945. After earning a Ph.D. in Economics, he taught at the University of Indiana. In 1955 they moved to Raleigh, North Carolina where Dr. Olsen taught Economics at North Carolina State University until he retired in 1985. He was predeceased by his wife.
Survivors include his nephew, Rollin Dunbar of Palm Harbor, Florida, and his nieces, Bernice Fortin of Bourbonnais, Illinois, and Beth Williams of McDonough.

Russell Brunette, Sr.
Mr. Russell "Rusty" Brunette, Sr., age 48, of McDonough, Georgia died, August 5, 2008. He was born
in Brimingham, Alabama to the late John William and Gayle Garner Brunette. Rusty loved to coach baseball and go to yard sales. Because of his story telling, he never met a stranger. Most important to him was his family. Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Ann Brunette of McDonough; children, Rebe-kah Faith Hartness, Eric Lee Bryant, Patricia Gayle Hawkins, Russell Kent Brunette, Jr.; step-children, Erika Laine McKibben, Ethan Van McKibben; granddaughter, Emma Ryleigh Bohanan; brother, John William Brunette, Jr.; sister, Kimm Chambers.
Services were held August 8 at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle with Rev. Tom Allen officiating. Interment Sherwood Memorial Park. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Hayden Anderson Marchant
Master Hayden Anderson Marchant, of Jackson, Georgia died August 7, 2008. He was born
June 12, 2008 in Riverdale, Georgia.
Hayden is survived by his parents; Keith and Jennifer Marchant of Jackson; grandparents, Don and Vickie McCullars of Griffin, Terry and Becky Marchant of McDonough; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Wynell “Nell” Dennis
Mrs. Wynell “Nell” Dennis, age 73, of McDonough, Georgia died March 8, 2008. Nell enjoyed cooking. She would always bake cookies, cakes or brownies and share with everyone. Nell would rather give than receive. Nell was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2005. God gave her the strength to fight so hard to try and win this battle. She went into remission for only a short while. Nell is now cancer free in her new heavenly home with her creator. She was the daughter of the late Mary Lou Barrett and Nathan Cornelius Key. She was also preceded in death by several siblings.
Survivors include love of her life and husband for 49 years, Gerald Dennis of McDonough; son, Tony Garner of Covington; two grandchildren; brothers, Herman Key of Locust Grove, Nathan Key and Marion Key of Conyers, Cecil Key of McDonough; sisters, Mary Proctor of Rossville and Addie Reagin of McDonough; numerous nieces and nephews.

William Newton Lindsey
Mr. William Newton Lindsey, age 84, of Locust Grove, Georgia died August 8, 2008. He was the son of the late Irene Kimbell and Charles Daniel Lindsey. Newton was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed golf and gardening. He was a member of the Locust Grove United Methodist Church where he served in all areas of the church from youth leader to Chairman of the Board. Newton served his country in the US Army. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Edna Tingle and a brother, Jake Lindsey.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ruth Turner Lindsey of Locust Grove; children, Bill and Peggy Lindsey of Columbia, South Carolina, Teri and Jack Woodford of Yorktown, Virginia; grandchildren, Chad Lindsey of Columbia, South Carolina, Brigette Lindsey of Charleston, South Carolina, and Michele Woodford of Yorktown, Virginia; sister, Helen White of North Carolina and sister-in-law, Lorene Lindsey of Locust Grove; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held August 11 at the Locust Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Gilreath officiating. Interment Locust Grove Cemetery. Drifton C. Powell
Drifton C. Powell, age 81, of Stockbridge, Georgia died August 8, 2008. He was born
in Pelham, Georgia to the late Claude and Hattie Mae Wilson Powell. Mr. Powell was a member of Henry Baptist Church. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII. But most important, he was a loving husband, father grandfather and great-grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Lorene Powell of Stockbridge; children, Trudie (Richard) Sykes and Travis (Rhonda) Powell, all of Stockbridge; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; siblings, Reuben Powell of Schenectady, New York, Peggy Piland of Albany, Jeannine Banks of Pelham, Joy Kapantais of Commerce City, Colorado and Patricia Beckit of Gray, Maine.

Jeremy Shane Johnson
Mr. Jeremy Shane Johnson, age 28, of McDonough, Georgia died August 9, 2008. Mr. Johnson was born
in Fulton County. He enjoyed his children, reading and yard work.
Survivors include his wife, Misty Johnson of McDonough; children, Dakota and Gavin Johnson of McDonough; parents, David and Tammy Johnson of McDonough; brother, Josh Johnson of Locust Grove; grandparents, Rebecca John-son of McDonough and Jim Moore of Ellijay; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services were held August 12 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Alex Stroud officiating. Cremation followed the service.
