Wilbur Guy Reed
Mr. Wilbur Guy "Bill" Reed, age 79, of Stockbridge, Georgia died August 23, 2008. He was born
in Chicago, Illinois to the late Guy and Margaret Litwitz Reed. Mr. Reed served our country with the Army during the 50's and then served with the Navy with 26 years of service. He also was the Dean of the Dental Dept. for Clayton State until he retired in 1992. Mr. Reed enjoyed aircraft shows and helping to rescue greyhounds. He was known for taking his greyhound Cory to nursing homes to help other people. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Eugenie Reed.
Survivors include his children, Timothy Stephen Reed of McDonough, Deborah Lynn Reed of Oakland, California and Geoff and Jennifer Reed of Locust Grove; grandsons, Fletcher Thomas Reed, Mitch Reed.
Services were held August 25 at Camp Memorial Park with Rev. Dana Everhart officiating.

Martha Casey Foster
Mrs. Martha Casey Foster, age 73, of McDonough, Georgia died August 23, 2008. Mrs. Foster was born
in Spalding County the daughter of the late Ada Rush and Fred H. Casey. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed being with her family. Mrs. Foster was a devoted nurse during her working career.
Survivors include her husband, Sherman Foster of McDonough; son, Rick Foster of McDonough; grandchildren, Brett James Foster and Tony and Alex Mena of Barnesville; great grandchildren, Gentry James of Locust Grove, Annelise Eden Cox and Porter Isaac Cox of Locust Grove.
Services will be Thursday, August 28 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Alvie Rodgers officiating. Interment Oakhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Haisten Funeral Home, 770-914-8833, in charge of arrangements.
Sara Oglesby Crumbley
Mrs. Sara Oglesby Crumbley, age 100, of McDonough, Georgia died August 11, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Rilla Morris and William Green Oglesby. Mrs. Crumbley enjoyed ceramics, tatting and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman E. Crumbley and ten siblings.
Survivors are her children, Donald and Jean Crumbley of McDonough, Charles and Carol Crumbley of Charlotte, North Carolina and Kathleen and John Chatfield of Stone Mountain; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Crumbley were held August 16 at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Statham and Rev. Dan McKay officiating. Interment Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Loretta Wilson
Mrs. Loretta Wilson, age 70, of McDonough, Georgia died August 11, 2008. She was born
December 20, 1937 to the late James and Mary Bryant Williams. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Word of Grace Tabernacle in McDonough, loved to share her faith with other people, and ministered to inmates at the Henry County Jail. She enjoyed working in the yard with her flowers, her birdhouses, and helping other people. Most of all, she loved her grandkids and family.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by husband, Guy Wilson of McDonough; children, Jason and Julie Wilson of Locust Grove, Elaine Brady of Stone Mountain, David and Vicky Wilson of McDonough, Johnny and Donna Wilson of Locust Grove, Bonnie and Johnny Hancock of Conyers, Robyn and Doug Snyder of Conyers; 14 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; brothers, O.W. Williams of Senoia, Jim and Lori Williams of Conyers; sister, Sherry and Lem Bargeron of Cartersville; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held in the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors on August 14 with Rev. Roger Powell and Ken Kerce officiating. Interment Fairview Memorial Gardens. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Jeremy Allen Fowler
Mr. Jeremy Allen Fowler, age 33, of McDonough, Georgia died, August 12, 2008. He was born
in DeKalb County to Donna Lynn Jennings and the late Michael Allen Fowler. Jeremy attended West Georgia College where he was a member of the ATO Fraternity. He graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2002 and had been a teacher at Eagles Landing High School where he was the Tennis Coach and former Basketball Coach. Jeremy was a member of the Panthersville Masonic Lodge and was a Demolay Past State Master Counselor in ‘95 and ‘96. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church; a UGA football fan; enjoyed time at the beach and Disney; spending time with his family and friends and loved being a father to his three beautiful children.
Survivors include his wife of almost six years, Michele Neukert Fowler of McDon-ough; children, Natalie Marie, Gracelyn Abigale, and Anderson Michael Fowler; parents, Donna and Mark Johnson of Griffin; siblings, Mackenzie Johnson of Griffin, Christopher “Bubba” (Tiana) Fowler of Griffin; Katie (Josh) Askew of Stockbridge; maternal grandparents, Ann and Wesley Jennings of Lithonia; paternal grandmother, Opal Fowler of Mansfield; several nieces and nephews and numerous other family and friends.

Thomas Walter Cleveland
Mr. Thomas Walter (T.W) Cleveland, age 88, of Locust Grove, Georgia died August 14, 2008. He was born
in Locust Grove to the late W. W. Cleveland, Sr. and Agnes B. Cleveland. Mr. Cleveland served our country with the U.S. Army and was a member of the 4th Armored Division serving under General Patton, and was past president of the national chapter. He was a member of the McDonough American Legion Post # 55 where he served as post commander for 2 1/2 years and served Henry County as a Magistrate Judge for 20 years. Mr. Cleveland was also an independent trucker for 35 years. He was the oldest member of County Line Baptist Church in Jenkinsburg but had attended Philippi Baptist Church for the past several years.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Cleveland of Locust Grove; daughters: Janice Boyce and Carol Anne and Jim Brookins; son: Bobby Cleveland and Diletta Wiggins; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Helen Thames
Mrs. Helen Thames, age 95, of McDonough, Georgia, died August 14, 2008. She was born
in College Park to the late David and Annie Bell Wright Wesley. Mrs. Thames was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. She was a fantastic cook and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her children, Douglas A. Thames, Sr, and Claudia Lagasse, both of McDonough and Brenda (Lamar) Worthy, of Lithonia; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Services were held August 19 at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Dr. Jack Bartlett officiating. Interment Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
