BARNWELL, S.C. -- Mrs. Ethel Baxley Sanders, 78, of 1568 Lebanon Road, died Wednesday, July 1, 1998.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Green Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Revs. Leroy Dodson and Timmy Gunnell officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.
Mrs. Sanders, a native of Barnwell County, had retired from Blackville Manufacturing Company.
She was a member of Green Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she taught Sunday school.
Survivors include four sons, Olin Sanders, Coy Sanders, Hubert Sanders and Norman Sanders, all of Barnwell; one daughter, Sue Gunnells, Barnwell; two brothers, Lewis Claytor Baxley, Tifton, Ga., and Lonnie Baxley Jr., Barnwell; one sister, Myrtis B. Owens, Blackville; and 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Owens, Carlton Owens, Bud Baxley, Olin Baxley, Andy Gunnells and Ken Dodson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Allen Owens, Chris Sanders, Larry Owens, Shannon Baxley and Lee Fulmer.
Memorials may be made to the Greenbranch Pentecostal Holiness Church Fund.

Mrs. Joyce R. Singleton, 40, of 3054 Hawthorne Drive, died Monday, June 29, 1998, at University Hospital.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Oscar E. Wells officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Olive Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Singleton, a native of Augusta, was a former case manager at Richmond-Burke Job Training Authority.
She was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church and a former member of The Augusta Chorale.
Survivors include two sons, Stuart Anthony and Darius Jarrell Singleton; one daughter, Shalita Nikkia Hurdle; her mother, Lillie Mae Robinson; one brother, Willie Joe Robinson Jr.; 10 sisters, Mary Ann Hawes, Rosa R. Edwards, Jernel R. Flono, Lillie Robinson, Bertha Robinson, Caretha R. Lockhart, Earlene R. Marshall, Loretta R. Greene, Audrey R. Williams and Margaret Denise Robinson; one adopted sister, Jacqueline D. Dunn, and her maternal grandfather, Joe Anderson.
Pallbearers will be Michael Brown, Steve Bagwell, Greg Smith, Charles Patterson, Nelson Harrison and Bruce Wiley.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Williams Funeral Home.

GRANITEVILLE -- Mr. Kenneth Fred Timmerman, 74, of 104 Trolley Line Road, died Wednesday, July 1, 1998, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at St. John United Methodist Church with the Revs. Paul Rogers and Kenneth B. Timmerman officiating.
Burial will be in Graniteville cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.
Mr. Timmerman, a native of Graniteville, worked for Sizemore Security.
He was a Navy veteran.
He was a member of Samuel H. Swint Post 77 and of St. John United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Busbee Timmerman; three sons, Kenneth B. Timmerman, Greenwood, Joe Ellis Timmerman, North Augusta, and John Thomas Timmerman Sr., Aiken; two brothers, Joe L. ``Bub" Timmerman, Graniteville, and James B. ``Flat" Timmerman, Aiken; one sister, Peggy T. Marchant, Graniteville, and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Pete Lawson, Jerry Couch, Charles Peters, Lewis Ready, Ollie Eubanks, Lloyd Yaun, Wayne Marchant, Danny Marchant, Rusty Busbee and Rick Meyer.

Reese, Miami; four sisters, Yvonna Brown, Naples, Fla., Coral Reese, Atlanta, Tiara Reese and Emerald Reese, both of Miami; her grandparents, Robert L. Webb and Eunice M. Webb, both of Augusta; and her grandmother, Ada Reese.
