Mrs. Waltraud Murchie, 77, of 2541 Milledgeville Road, died Wednesday, June 24, 1998, at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Starling Funeral Home, Harlem, with the Rev. Jerry Rockefeller officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olive Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Murchie, a native of Berlin, was a longtime resident of Harlem.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Mr. William Arthur Norton, 75, of White Pine Drive, died Wednesday, June 24, 1998.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Dennis Lundblad officiating.
Mr. Norton, a native of Bon Air, Ala., was a retired installer for Western Electric. He was a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church. He served in the U.S. Marines during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy S. Norton; two sons, Douglas Norton, Birmingham, Ala., and Keith Norton, Fletcher, N.C.; one brother, Carroll L. Norton, Augusta; one sister, Dorothy Groover, Savannah; and three grandchildren.

EVANS -- Mr. Clarence L. ``Buster" Osborne, 69, of 561 University Drive, died Thursday, June 25, 1998, at Columbia Augusta Medical Center.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. today at Poteet Funeral Home, Wheeler Road, with the Rev. Walton McNeal officiating.
Mr. Osborne, a native of Canton, Ky., was a paint contractor. He served in the U.S. Army, 4th Infantry Division, during World War II. He was a member of Mize Memorial United Methodist Church, where he was on the Usher Board and a member of the United Methodist Men's Club.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine Barnes Osborne; one brother, Thomas Osborne, Paducah, Ky.; and one sister, Ruby Whitaker, Paducah.

Mr. Perry, a native of Columbia County, was a construction worker with Claussen Construction and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include one stepdaughter, Evelyn Dotson, Augusta; one brother, William Henry Perry, Martinez; and two sisters, Ludie Perry and Bessie Perry, both of Martinez.

Mr. Kersey, a native of Emanuel County, was a retired farmer and a retired printer with Tyson's Print Shop. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of Lizella Baptist Church and a former member of Adrian First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Tincie Douglas Kersey, one son, Doug Kersey, Lizella; two daughters, Martha Jo Belote, Dry Branch, and Ramona Price, Wrightsville; one sister, Vonnella Douglas, Warner Robins; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Belote, Jody Kersey, Wayne Kersey, Jeff Hall, Joey Webb and John Jones.
