HARLEM -- Mrs. Evie Louise Smith, 85, of 1647 Hinton-Wilson Road, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998, at her residence.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Hillcrest Mausoleum with the Rev. John A. Christmas officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Smith, a native of Johnson County, was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Jackie Smith, Harlem; one daughter, June Vik, Tampa, Fla.; one brother, Fred Brantley, Aiken; two sisters, Mary Hudson and Peggy Gaulke, both of Augusta; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.

SYLVANIA, Ga. -- Mr. James Wesley Reeves, 66, of 805 Halcyondale Road, died Monday, June 22, 1998, at Sylview Health Care Center.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Spring Head United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.
Mr. Reeves, a native of Screven County, was a member of Spring Head United Methodist Church where he served on the Usher Board and was a member of the junior and senior choirs.
Survivors include two brothers, Willie V. Reeves, Milwaukee, Wis. and Clarence Reeves, Fort Lawn, S.C.; two sisters, Daisy L. Burns, Savannah, and Martha Benton-Zeigler, Sylvania.
Pallbearers will be his nephews.

BLACKVILLE, S.C. -- Mr. Jack Holloway Rayner, 77, died Wednesday, June 24, 1998, in Barnwell.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Mole Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Mew officiating. Burial will be in Barnwell County Memory Gardens cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.
Mr. Rayner, a native of Laurel, Miss., was a retired pipe fitter with the Savannah River Plant. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of Blackville First Baptist Church and a member of Local 150 Pipe Fitters Union of Augusta.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie S. Rayner; one son, Edwin Jack Rayner, Blackville; one foster son, Pete Frickling, Barnwell; one daughter, Jackie R. Thomas, Barnwell; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Morris, a native of Johnson County, had retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections Youth Development Center. She was a member of Tennille Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Philip Morris, Athens; one daughter, Kathleen M. Hodges, Oconee; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
