Mrs. Mary W. Barksdale, 82, of 2846 Walton Way, died Saturday, June 20, 1998, at St. Joseph Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Westover Memorial Park with the Rev. Robert F. Hunt officiating.
Mrs. Barksdale, a native of Augusta, had retired from Greene Street Presbyterian Church as church secretary, and she had retired from the Medical Research Foundation at the Medical College of Georgia. She was a member of Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Hillis Barksdale DeRoller, Augusta; a sister, Dorothy W. Kelly, Augusta; and one grandchild.

Mrs. Smith, a native of Oglethorpe County, had lived in Rayle for 60 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Sardis Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Elaine S. Mathews, Rayle; a brother, Leonard ``Pete" Johnson, Washington; a sister, Frances Snellings, Dewey Rose; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Owen III, Richard Johnson, Brian Mathews, Larry Bridges, Douglas Mathews and Mike Johnson.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Mrs. Mary Helen Angel Stilwell, 74, of East Church Street, died Sunday, June 21, 1998.
There will be no services for Mrs. Stilwell.
Mrs. Stilwell, a native of Harlem, had lived in Florida since 1961. She had retired from Jordan Marsh Department Stores as manager of the china department. She was a member of the Sorosis Club. She was a member of Cathedral Church of St. Luke, Episcopal, where she was a member of the Elizabeth Guild, the Altar Guild and the Flower Guild.
Survivors include her husband, John P. Stilwell II; a daughter, Annie C. Bush, Orlando; her stepmother, Miriam Angel, Martinez; and two sisters, Verna Boswell and Polly Allison, both of Martinez.

Mrs. Rhodes, a native of Greene County, had retired from Greene County schools as a teacher after more than 40 years of service. She was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Lillian Aiken Women's Missionary Society.
Survivors include a son, W.H. Rhodes Jr., Union Point; two brothers, Macon Overton Sr., Dunwoody, and W.M. Overton Sr., Greensboro; two sisters, Mamie Delle Maxwell, Danville, and Vesta Newton, Greensboro; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Mumford, a lifelong resident of North Augusta, was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union Number 150.
He had earned a bachelors degree in business administration from Augusta College and an associates degree in heating and air conditioning from Southern Technical Institute.
Other survivors include sons, James P. Mumford Jr., William Banks Mumford; daughter, Margaret Cathryn Mumford; grandsons, James P. Mumford III and Nolan Hardy Mumford.
