Mrs. Mattie Louise Hardy, 87, of 2012 Starnes St., died Wednesday, June 3, 1998, at University Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. Rodger Murchison officiating.
Mrs. Hardy, a native of Dearing, was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Augusta, where she was a member of the Gleaner's Bible Class.
Survivors include two sons, Henry F. Hardy and Robert E. Hardy, both of Augusta; one daughter, Clair Hardy Goen, Grovetown; and 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

DANIELSVILLE, Ga. -- Mrs. Clyde Anthony Burroughs Mealor, 98, of Route 1, died Monday, June 1, 1998.
The funeral was Wednesday at Danielsville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Cheryl Maxfield officiated. Burial was in Friendship Baptist Church cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.
Mrs. Mealor, a native of Madison County, was a retired teacher with the Madison County Board of Education and was involved in various community activities. She was a 1918 graduate of Georgia College of Milledgeville and was a member of Danielsville United Methodist Church, Georgia Education Association, Womens Society of Christian Service and a lifetime honorary member of the Women's Missionary Society.
Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Christine Gordon Burroughs, Danielsville; one granddaughter, Jan Burroughs Loftis, North Augusta; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dan Patillo, David Burroughs, Spratt Bullock, George Strickland, Jack Hardman and Stiles Hopkins.
