Mrs. Brown, a native of Old Abbeville County, had retired as an attendance teacher with McCormick schools and was a member of McCormick United Methodist Church. She was a member of McCormick Garden Club and a graduate of Greenville Woman's College.
Survivors include one brother, T.Leonard Britt, Greenwood; and one sister, T.S. ``Alice" Carpenter, Greenville.
Pallbearers will be her great nephews.
Memorials may be made to McCormick Methodist Church or Buffalo Baptist Church.

Mr. Brown was a native of Burke County.
