Mrs. Deal, a native of Greenwood, was a retired buying supervisor with Sears Roebuck and Co. and a member of First Southern Methodist, Augusta.
Survivors include her husband, David Arnold Deal; two brothers, Fletcher Harrison and Bobby Harrison; and three grandchildren.

Mr. Hendrix, a native of Metter, was retired from the Marine Corps and was a member of Primitive Grove Primitive Baptist Church.

He was the recipient of many commendations and medals including the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Air Medal, Army Commendation, Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Unit Citation, Army Good Conduct, Navy Good Conduct, National Defense Service and World War II Victory.
