EDGEFIELD, S.C. -- Mrs. Lena Ouzts Turner, 77, of 1006 Circle St., died Thursday, April 23, 1998, in Saluda County.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Eastview cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Chrisco officiating.
Mrs. Turner, a native of Edgefield County, was a retired textile worker and attended Edgefield Church of God.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Enlow, Trenton, and Gail Combs, Johnston; three brothers, Jack Ouzts, John Ouzts and David Ouzts, all of Edgefield; and one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Bertha Boles
PHILADELPHIA -- Mrs. Bertha Smith Boles, 85, died Tuesday, April 21, 1998, at Penna Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Furse Mill cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery, Millette, S.C., with the Rev. Eddie C. Williams officiating.
Mrs. Boles, a native of Old Barnwell County, S.C., was a member of Gospel Temple Baptist Church, Philadelphia.
Survivors include a sister, Pinkey S. Johnson, Martin, S.C.

Mr. Rudolph Bredow

Mr. Rudolph ``Rudy" Bredow, 67, of 3341 Elegans Drive, died Friday, April 24, 1998, at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Poteet Funeral Home, Peach Orchard Road, with a military chaplain officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Bredow, a native of Saginaw, Mich., had retired from Piggly Wiggly as a store manager after 18 years and was a former employee of Lowes Building Supply. He was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict, and had retired with the rank of sergeant first class after 22 years. He was a Lutheran.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley E. Bredow, Augusta; four brothers, Gordon Bredow, Grand Rapids, Mich., Fred Bredow, Louiston, Mich., Gilbert Bredow, Santee, Calif., and Kenneth Bredow, Durand, Mich.; and four sisters, Millie Johnston, Grand Blanc, Mich., Shirley Huntoon, Henderson, Mich., Marie Zuck, Pontiac, Mich., and Janet Nott, Gregory, Mich.
Pallbearers will be members of an Army honor guard.

Mrs. Caldwell, a native of Franklin County, was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Union Point.

Mrs. Cribbs, a native of Orangeburg, S.C., was a homemaker and a member of Keysville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jordan Cribbs; four sons, Jimmy Cribbs and Robbie Cribbs, both of Hephzibah, Charlie DeLoach, Harlem, and James Cribbs, Blythe; a daughter, Sandra Hollinsworth, Savannah; three brothers, John Oglesby, Macon, Robert Oglesby, Symra, Fla., and Belver Oglesby, Atlanta; and nine grandchildren.

Mrs. Garner, a native of Randolph County, N.C., had lived in Augusta for 57 years. She had retired from A & P Grocery Stores as a cashier. She was a member of Lumpkin Road Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Lenard Chavis, Augusta, and Lenzo H. Chavis, Norfolk, Va.; a brother, William Gains, New York; a sister, Helen Buckner, Dallas; and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

AIKEN -- Mrs. Frances Cmerek Hochel, 80, of 830 Laurens St. N., died Friday, April 24, 1998, at Mattie C. Hall Health Care Center.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church with the Rev. Ed Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.
Mrs. Hochel, a native of Georgetown, Texas, had lived in Aiken since 1981. She had retired from Sherman Hospital as a nursing aide. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies' Auxiliary and St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Paul Hochel, Algonquin, Ill., and Robert C. ``Bob" Hochel, Aiken; a brother, August Cmerek, Miles, Texas; a sister, Angeline Sladicek, Grainger, Texas; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be members of Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus.

ELIZABETH, N.J. -- Mr. Willie Jones, 75, died Monday, April 20, 1998, at his residence.

Mr. Jones, a native of Barbour County, had worked for Elizabeth Heating and Plumbing for 35 years. He was a member of Pleasant View Church.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Jones; two stepdaughters, Sandy Boles, Early Branch, S.C., and Sharon Carroll Franklin, Elizabeth; two brothers, David Jones and Leroy Jones, both of Mount Dora, Fla.; four sisters, Elizabeth Jones and Catherine Taylor, both of Mount Dora, Johnnie Mae Jones, Apopka, Fla., and Elaine Cannady, Florida; and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
