RENTZ, Ga. -- Mr. Gregory Neil Alligood, 43, died Friday, April 24, 1998, at Fairview Park Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Antioch Baptist Church cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery with Aaron Johnson and the Rev. W.E. Flanders officiating.
Mr. Alligood, a native of Laurens County, was city manager of Dexter and owner of Alligood Pump Service.
Survivors include his wife, Janice B. Alligood; two sons, Chan Alligood and Dustin Alligood, both of Rentz; one brother, Royce Alligood, Dexter; two sisters, Rita Smith and Shirley W. Warren, both of Dexter; and one grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Maddos, Brian Alligood, Chuck Brown, Toby Alligood, Joel Warren and Jeff Smith.

JOHNSTON, S.C. -- Mr. Leroy Blocker, 74, of 301 Bland St., died Wednesday, April 22, 1998, at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Rosa Spring Baptist Church with the Rev. Winston Oliphant officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park.
Mr. Blocker, a native of Edgefield County, was retired and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Rosa Spring Baptist Church, where he served as a trustee.
Survivors include one son, Levoid A. Blocker, Johnston; two daughters, JoAnn Blocker, Johnston, and Eleanor L. Bolden, Greenwood; two brothers, Johnny Blocker Sr. and Avery Blocker Jr., both of Waterbury, Conn.; and two grandchildren.

Mr. Grady Lee Burris, 86, of 2725 Edwards Drive, died Friday, April 24, 1998, at St. Joseph Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Revs. Cecil Myrick and Charles Koons officiating.
Mr. Burris, a native of Stanley County, N.C., was retired as owner of Red Pig BBQ. He served in the Army and was a member of Love Grove Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eva M. Burris; three daughters, Joyce Simmons, Anniston, Ala., Iris Ferguson, Grenada, Miss., and Debbie Kyzer, Augusta; and nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Donald Simmons, Keith Simmons, Lee Ferguson, Travis Ferguson, Brian Kyzer, Sam Kyzer and Dean Ferguson.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Mrs. Shirley Eileen Dimenna, 72, of Larkspur Court, died Monday, April 20, 1998.
The funeral was Thursday at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Andy Latsko officiating. Burial was in Mountain View Memorial Park.
Mrs. Dimenna, a native of Chicago, was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and the St. Margaret Mary Altar Guild.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Dimenna; three sons, Richard A. Dimenna, Evans, Michael Dimenna, Black Mountain, and Grey J. Dimenna, Lambertville, N.J.; two daughters, Florie S. Dimenna, Houston, and Cathy D. Way, Lancaster, Pa.; one brother, Bernard Weitzman, Chicago; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Harville, a native of Laurens County, was a retired security officer with the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He was a member of Buckhorn Methodist Church, the Masons, and the Eastern Star. He served in the Marine Corps and the Army.
Survivors include his wife, Jettys Harville; one son, Jerald Harville, Jasper, Ind.; two stepsons, Al Lewis and Ricky Lewis, both of Dublin; one daughter, Paula Loveall, Jasper; two stepdaughters, Shelia Sirmons, Dudley, and Vicky Lewis, Dublin; his mother, Virginia Harville, Dublin; and five grandchildren.

Ms. Holman, a native of Great Falls, was a homemaker and a member of Barnwell United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school, served as a trustee and was a member of the Jennie Bates Hagood Circle and official board. She received a bachelor of science degree from Winthrop College and was a member of the Cherokee Club, Winston Assembly and the Wednesday Bridge Club.
Survivors include one son, Douglas Holman, Litchfield; one daughter, Ellen Holman, Barnwell; one sister, Ruth W. Pittman, Great Falls; and one grandchild.

Mr. Kinard, a native of Allendale, was a grocery store manager and a member of Fairfax First Baptist Church, Crocketville Masonic Lodge, where he had been Master of the Lodge. He was a graduate of Orangeburg Calhoun Tech School.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Miller Kinard; his mother, Selena Smith Tomlin; his stepfather, Billy E. Tomlin; two sisters, Tracy K. Tuten and Shaneki Ann Tomlin; and one stepsister, Mannie T. Rochette.
