Mrs. Sharon Faulkner Walker, 51, of 12 Indian Cove, died Sunday, April 19, 1998, at University Hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church with the Rev. Allan J. McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.
Mrs. Walker, a native of Augusta, was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Charles B. Walker; two sons, Charles B. Walker Jr., Augusta, and Joseph M. Walker, Savannah; three daughters, Tracy W. Carswell and Dana M. Meeler, both of Augusta, and Leslie Klattig, Hamburg, Germany; her parents, Irving R. Faulkner Jr. and Willie Mae Faulkner, Augusta; a brother, Douglas Alan Faulkner, Augusta; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Steve Huffman, Pick Pinnell, Al Moore, Gene Skelton, Magruder Page and William Keenan.

Mr. Marvin Grady Yelton, 82, of 3468 Ray-Owens Road, died Sunday, April 19, 1998, at University Hospital, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Damascus Baptist Church, Leah Community, Appling, with the Rev. Leon Anthony officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.
Mr. Yelton, a native of Rutherfordton, N.C., had retired from the State Highway Department. He was an Army veteran of World War II, where he received the Purple Heart, and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6445. He was a member of Harlem Masonic Lodge No. 276. He was a member of Damascus Baptist Church, where he was a member of Damascus Men's Bible Class.
Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Barfield, Jonesboro, Ga.; a brother, Howard Yelton, Roducah, N.C.; a sister, Addie Mae Peacock, East Point, Ga.; and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wallace, Bill Lee, Irvin Partridge, Bobby Partridge, Mack Bartles and Robert Tankersley.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Damascus Men's Bible Class.

Mrs. Allen, a native of Lincolnton, was a homemaker and a member of Newberry Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir.

BARNWELL, S.C. -- Mrs. Christine Folk Brown, 63, died Tuesday, April 21, 1998, in Aiken.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Barnwell First Baptist Church with the Revs. Steve Burnette and Posey Belcher officiating. Burial will be in Barnwell County Memory Gardens cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown, a native of Denmark, was a retired teacher with Guinyard Butler Middle School and a member of Barnwell First Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Winthrop University and received her masters degree from the University of South Carolina.
Survivors include her husband, John W. Brown Jr.; one son, Victor R. Brown, Lugoff; her mother, Olivia Welch Folk, Orangeburg; one brother, Jessie Folk Jr., Denmark; and one grandchild.

COLUMBUS, Ga. -- Mrs. Janice Badger Carter, 40, of 545 Fifth Ave., died Friday, April 17, 1998, at the Medical Center of Columbus.

Mrs. Carter, a native of Jacksonville, Fla., was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and St. Luke Baptist Church, Fairfax, S.C.
Survivors include her husband, Peter Tony Carter, Fairfax; her mother, Phebia Garvin Badger, Columbus; one brother, John A. Badger Jr., Jacksonville; and three sisters, Stephanie Badger and Beverly Williams, both of Jacksonville, and Joyce B. Carter, Allendale, S.C.

Mr. Fred W. Foster, 71, died Monday, April 20, 1998, at St. Joseph Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. Ted Miller officiating.
Mr. Foster, a native of Union, S.C., was a mechanic and a Baptist. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Hattie Mae Foster; one stepson, Donald Briggs, Grovetown; two stepdaughters, Patricia Miller, Grovetown, and Eva Mae Drew, Eutis, Fla.; one sister, Mildred Berry, Enoree, S.C.; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Miss Hillman, a native of McDuffie County, was a homemaker and attended Reedy Creek Baptist Church.

Mrs. Inman, a native of Quitman, Ga., was a homemaker and a Jehovah's Witness.

Mr. J. Donald Johnson Jr., 52, of 3720 Westlake Drive, died Tuesday, April 21, 1998, at Columbia Augusta Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m Thursday at The Church of the Good Shepherd with the Revs. Robert Fain and Daniel Brown officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.
Mr. Johnson, a native of Richmond, Va., was a senior location manager with IBM, Augusta office, and was a member of The Church of the Good Shepherd. He was a board member of the American Red Cross, Augusta chapter, the Salvation Army, the Greater Augusta Community Foundation, the University Health Care Foundation and a member of the Augusta State University School Business Advisory Board and the Rotary Club of Augusta. He had been United Way Campaign Chair and second vice chairman of the American Red Cross, Augusta Chapter, board of directors, executive committee. He was a graduate of Virginia Polytechnical Institute, Blackburg, Va., with a bachelor of arts degree and received his master's of business administration from Appalachian State University, Boone, N.C. He was the chairman of the Olympic Torch Run through Augusta and was the recipient of the 1997 WJBF Channel 6 Giving Your Best Award.
Survivors include his wife, Penny Johnson; two sons, James D. Johnson III, Birmingham, Ala., and Michael L. Johnson, Greensboro, N.C.; one daughter, Katharine W. Johnson, Augusta; his mother, Marjorie Johnson, Richmond, Va.; and one sister, Elizabeth Woodall, Richmond.

Mrs. Johnson was a native of Claxton, Ga.
