McCORMICK, S.C. -- Mrs. Agnes Brown Seigler, 94, of Oaks Apartments, died Sunday, April 12, 1998, in Augusta.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Plum Branch Baptist Church, Plum Branch, with the Revs. C.B. Love and Jack Hiott officiating. Burial will be in Plum Branch cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.
Mrs. Seigler, a native of Edgefield County, was a homemaker and a member of Plum Branch Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Marvin Seigler, Pete Seigler and Jimmy Seigler, all of Plum Branch, and Myrel A. Seigler, Augusta; four daughters, Mary Lou McDaniel, Billie Jean Bertzfield and Joanne S. Wates, all of Plum Branch, and Jane S. Franklin, McCormick; three sisters, Dollie McDaniel, Beech Island, Ruth McDaniel, Gastonia, N.C., and Janie Pearl Heyward, Wagener; and 28 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mamie Smith
FAIRFAX, S.C. -- Mrs. Mamie Smith, 98, died Sunday, April 12, 1998, at John E. Harter Nursing Center.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Smith-Rhoden Funeral Home, Allendale. Burial will be in Fairfax cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Bellinger Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Ed D. Smith Jr., Fairfax; two daughters, Evelyn S. Blanton, Mount Pleasant, and Mildred S. Hammond, Summerdale, Ala.; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Otis Turner

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Mr. Otis Maybin Turner, 96, of 2232 Country Club Road, died Sunday, April 12, 1998, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Allen Senn officiating.
Mr. Turner, a native of Spartanburg, had retired from the piano business after working with Case Brothers, Spartanburg, and Turner Keyboards, Augusta.
Survivors include three sons, Joe H. Turner and Gerald F. Turner, both of Spartanburg, and William M. Turner, Aiken; a sister, Mary E. Taylor, Mount Pleasant; and 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Willie D. Wilkes, 80, of 2526 Elderberry Drive, died Monday, April 13, 1998, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Revs. H.B. Johnston and Roger Stone officiating.
Mr. Wilkes, a native of Laurens County, was a foreman and supervisor for Augusta American Builders Construction. He was an Air Force veteran. He was a member of Laurens Masonic Lodge, Dublin, and Mann Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Arnold Wilkes; two sons, F.S. ``Ricky" Wilkes, Martinez, and Laurie David Wilkes, Grovetown; two daughters, Sue Zee Hildreth, Trussville, Ala., and Ann Dee Templeton, Hephzibah; a brother, David B. Wilkes, Augusta; a sister, Sybil Simmons, Augusta; and 11 grandchildren.

NORTH AUGUSTA -- Mr. Larry ``Boogie" O'Neal Yonce, 54, of 400 Mealing Road, died Saturday, April 11, 1998, at University Hospital, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Christ Episcopal Church, Augusta, with the Rev. Theodore O. Atwood Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park, Augusta.
Mr. Yonce, a native of Aiken County, was a supervisor for Modern Welding.
His family said he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Williamson Yonce; two sons, Larry O'Neal Yonce Jr., Aiken, and Patrick Ryan Yonce, North Augusta; his mother, Thelma Yonce, Trenton; four brothers, Coy W. Yonce Jr., Charles N. Yonce and Michael L. Yonce, all of Belvedere, and Eddie A. Yonce, Graniteville; a sister, Grace G. Mills, Trenton; and one grandchild.

JACKSON -- Mr. LaVerne F. Zirkle, 65, of 101 Pioneer Plantation Road, died Sunday, April 12, 1998, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
The funeral will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at George Funeral Home, Park Avenue, Aiken, with the Revs. Don Prosser and Don Shires officiating. Burial will be private.
Mr. Zirkle, a native of Saginaw, Mich., had lived in Jackson for 18 years. He had retired as a journeyman electrician, and he was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers No. 498. He was a member and past officer of Jamil Shrine Temple, Scottish Rite, York Rite, Aiken Blue Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include three sons, Steven Henry Zirkle, Roy T. Luna and Leslie Edward Luna, all of Bradford, Pa.; three daughters, Hazel I. Ward, Jackson, Georgina L. Zirkle, McCormick, and Bernice Oysti, Saginaw; two sisters, Marjorie Eldrid, Chicago, and Phyllis Laupher, Saginaw; and 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be members of the Potentates Guard.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Jamil Shrine Temple, Scottish Rite, York Rite, Aiken Blue Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Bethany was a native of Augusta.

Baggott III and Penny Freeman Baggott, Warrenville; two brothers, Blake Baggott and Brandon Baggott, both of Warrenville; her paternal grandparents, Wade and Jean Baggott, Warrenville; her maternal grandparents, Buddy and Eugenia Freeman, Lincolnton, Ga.; her paternal great-grandmother, Mildred Clerc, Aiken; her paternal step-great-grandfather, Ed Clerc, Aiken; and her maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Reese, Lincolnton.

Mr. Elmer Bollenberg

Mr. Elmer Frederick Bollenberg, 76, died Tuesday, April 14, 1998.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Columbia Road, with the Rev. Don Railey officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.
Mr. Bollenberg, a native of Cleveland, was retired as a lieutenant with the Navy, where he was a veteran of World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He received the Bronze Star with Combat ``V" Air Medal, Navy Commendation Medal with Combat ``V", Good Conduct Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Services Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, the Philippine Liberation Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with seven stars, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation, the World War II Victory Medal and the Navy Occupation Service Medal. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3200 and was active in VFW Posts 649 and 6445. He served as membership chairman with the VFW and was voted outstanding VFW member for 1996. He worked as a Department of Veterans Affairs service officer and was a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Taylor Bollenberg, Valrico, Fla.; two sons, Michael Bollenberg, Valrico, and David Bollenberg, North Hollywood, Calif.; one daughter, Diane Pesano, Sarasota, Fla.; one sister, Katherine Bollenberg, Augusta; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michael Bollenberg, Jim Graham, Charles Griffin, Tim Thigpen, Norman Dubbs, Pat Murphy and Jim Weathers.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of VFW Posts 3200, 649 and 6445.

NORTH AUGUSTA -- Mr. Nathan Richard Butterworth, 19, of 7 Indian Rock Court, died Tuesday, April 14, 1998, in Hilton Head.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church with the Rev. David F.O. Thompson officiating. Burial will be private.
Mr. Butterworth, a native of Augusta, was a stonecutter with Stoneworks, Hilton Head, and was a member of St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church.
The family said spending time with his family and friends was the most important thing to him. He enjoyed traveling, music and the outdoors.
Survivors include his parents, Bob and Fran Butterworth, North Augusta; three brothers, Oscar Ceron and Bobby Butterworth, both of North Augusta, and Donnie Howard, Marietta, Ga.; and three sisters, Debbie Stankus, North Augusta, Becky Smith, Richmond Hill, Ga., and Brooke Butterworth, Charleston.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Butterworth, Donnie Howard, Oscar Ceron, Paul Stankus, Adrian Smith, Dylan Stankus and Haynes Gibbs.
