WRIGHTSVILLE, Ga. -- Mr. Hilton Lyles Sr., 69, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 1998, at Fairview Park Hospital, Dublin.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Piney Mount Methodist Church with the Revs. Wayne Veal and Christi Bandy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.
Mr. Lyles, a native of Johnson County, was a longtime Florida resident. He was an assistant manager for National Linen Service. He was a member, lay reader, carpenter and Sunday school teacher at Piney Mount Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary G. Lyles; three sons, Hilton Lyles Jr., Brandon, Fla., Kevin Lyles, Bentonville, Ark., and Timmy Lyles, Wrightsville; a daughter, Teresa Earhart, Merritt Island, Fla.; three brothers, Tillman Lyles, Troy Lyles and Roy Lyles, all of Wrightsville; a sister, Bernice Smith, Wrightsville; and 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.

WRIGHTSVILLE, Ga. -- Mr. Charles Thomas McMichael, 66, died Friday, Feb. 27, 1998, at Washington County Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Westview cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Osborn officiating.
Mr. McMichael, a native of Washington County, was a longtime Johnson County resident. He was president of Electro-Mech Scoreboard Co., and he was a former editor and publisher of the Sandersville Progress and the Wrightsville Headlight. He was a charter director of Swainsboro Tech. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lucy McMichael; two sons, Allen McMichael, Dublin, and Chap McMichael, Wrightsville; two sisters, Virginia M. Critz, Savannah, and Holly M. Bleakley, St. Simons Island; and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Marilu Mills

WAYNESBORO, Ga. -- Mrs. Marilu F. Mills, 98, of 201 E. 11th St., died Thursday, Feb. 26, 1998, at Union General Hospital, Blairsville.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at DeLoach Funeral Home with the Rev. Loy Veal officiating. Burial will be in Burke Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Mills, a native of Putnam County, had retired as a schoolteacher. She was a member of the Waynesboro Home Improvement Club and the Sunshine Club. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Waynesboro, where she was a member of the McFerrin Bible Class.
Survivors include two granddaughters, Deborah Shearouse, Waynesboro, and Dianne Lance, Morgantown.
Pallbearers will be nephews.

AIKEN -- Mr. Jessie Paige, 84, of 427 Candlewood Road, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1998, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Old Rosemary Baptist Church, Montmorenci, with the Rev. Henry Curry officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.
Mr. Paige, a native of Aiken County, was a farmer. He was a member of Montmorenci Masonic Lodge No. 267, the Aiken Benevolent Society's Young Men of Honor and Old Rosemary Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, John Paige and James Paige, both of Aiken, and Clarence Paige, Barnwell; three daughters, Mary Miller and Judith Johnson, both of Aiken, and Dorothy Paige, Brooklyn, N.Y.; and 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be members of Montmorenci Masonic Lodge No. 267.

Mrs. Sconyers, a native of Emanuel County, was a homemaker and a member of Canoochee Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Tommy Sconyers, Adrian; four daughters, Evelyn S. Patrick, Betty Jean S. Andrews and Glenda S. Riner, all of Swainsboro, and Joann S. Lane, Canoochee; a brother, R.L. Johnson, Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Maggie Lois Kenyon, Millen, and Margie Spain, Canoochee; and 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Smith, a native of Taliaferro County, was a longtime Thomson resident. She had retired from a dry-cleaning business, and she was a member of Thomson First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. White, a native of Orme, Tenn., had retired from civil service. She was a member of Fleming Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Fleming Baptist Church Homemaker Sunday School Class.
