HEPHZIBAH -- Ms. Teresa Ann Corley, 39, died Sunday, Feb. 22, 1998, at University Hospital.

A memorial service will be at noon Saturday at the residence of Jane George, 1928 Brown Road.

Ms. Corley, a native of Dothan, Ala., was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, LaRon Reginald Rashaun Corley; and one brother, Brady Corley.

Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Columbia Road, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lelor Daniels

Retired cook

Mrs. Lelor Mae Daniels, of 201 Dan Bowles Road, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 1998, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Live River Baptist Church, Gracewood, with the Rev. Isaac Kirkland officiating. Burial will be in Southview cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.

Mrs. Daniels, a native of Springfield, S.C., was retired from Bush Field Airport Restaurant as a cook. She was a member of Live River Baptist Church.

Survivors include one adopted son, Donald D. Scott, Augusta; one daughter, Alice Marie Thomas, Augusta; two stepdaughters, Sally Kimble, Augusta, and Rosella Cox, New York; one brother, Woodrow O'Neal, Hephzibah; one sister, Gertrude Walker, Augusta; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Donald Scott, Joshua Toran, Ronnie Brown, Wyman Green, Willie James Evans, Zeke Kelly and Bill Barksdale.

Friends may call at the residence.

Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Louis Draten

Cabinet maker

AIKEN -- Mr. Louis Draten, 66, of 155 Williamsburg St., died Saturday, Feb. 21, 1998, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Montmorenci Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Timothy Williams officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.

Mr. Draten, a native of Allendale, was a cabinet maker and a member of Montmorenci Baptist Church, where he was a member of the gospel choir.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Drayton; one son, Vernal Hoyte, Aiken; three daughters, Gloria Bright and Gwendolyn Freeman, both of New York, and Tishina Draten, North Carolina; two brothers, Jerry Eidtson, St. Albans, N.Y., and William Eidtson, Florida; one sister, Reva Green, New York; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the residence of Patricia Drayton, 270 Butler Road, Montmorenci, or after 2 p.m. today at G.L. Brightharp and Sons Mortuary.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ruth Ford

King Mill retiree

BURNETTOWN -- Mrs. Ruth Creed Ford, 87, of 11 Leonard St., died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 1998, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Midland Valley First Church of the Nazarene, Clearwater, with the Revs. Alan Foster and John Faircloth officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens, Langley.

Mrs. Ford, a native of Burnettown, was retired from King Mill and had worked at Bath Mill and Langley Mill. She was a member of Midland Valley First Church of the Nazarene, where she was a member of the ladies Bible class. She was the oldest charter member of the Langley Church of the Nazarene, which was renamed Midland Valley First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Blackmon and June E. Ford, both of Burnettown; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Billy Creed, Jerry Brown, Ray Sexton, James Abear, Talbot Creed, James A. Creed and Billy Ford.

Memorials may be made to Midland Valley First Church of the Nazarene, P.O. Box 645, Clearwater, SC 29822.

Friends may call at the residence.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hatcher Funeral Home, Langley.

Mrs. Harryette Garrison

PENN LAIRD, Va. -- Mrs. Harryette Jones Garrison, 75, of Sunset Ridge, Route 1, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1998, at Camelot Health and Rehabilitation Center.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephen's United Church of Christ, Harrisonburg, with the Rev. Richard Schiemann officiating. Burial will be in Woodbine cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.

Mrs. Garrison, a native of Augusta, was a volunteer employee at Camp Gordon during World War II. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and St. Stephen's United Church of Christ.

Survivors include one sister, Ruth Windsor, Augusta.

Memorials may be made to St. Stephen's United Church of Christ Organ Fund, c/o Richard Schiemann, P.O. Box 109, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lindsey Funeral Home, Harrisonburg.

Mrs. Alice Gillespie

Homemaker

Mrs. Alice Thompson Gillespie, 92, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 1998, at Kentwood Personal Care Facility.

Graveside services will be at a later date in Minnesota.

Mrs. Gillespie, a native of Elgin, Minn., was a homemaker and had been the owner of a hardware business in Hallock, Minn., and Cambridge, Minn. She was a member of St. John's Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, James Frank Gillespie and Edward Gillespie; one daughter, Patricia Gillespie Leer; and 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the residence of Edward Gillespie, 12 Indian Creek Road.

Mr. Thomas Gullette

Retired sales manager

AIKEN -- Mr. Thomas P. Gullette, 81, of 12 Spyglass Drive, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 1998, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Mr. Gullette, a native of Pittsburgh, was a retired regional sales manager with Owen Illinois Glass Co. and a member of Houndslake Country Club. He was Episcopalian.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia R. Gullette; two sons, Charles Elliott Gullette III, Amarillo, Texas, and Thomas Pratt Gullette Jr., Denver; and two grandchildren.

George Funeral Homes, Park Avenue, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ruby Heaton

FARMVILLE, Va. -- Mrs. Ruby S. Heaton died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1998.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Westover Memorial Park, Augusta, with the Rev. Fred Gunter officiating.

Survivors include one son, Samuel A. Heaton; one daughter, Margaret H. Hargrove; and five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Lula Jester

Nantex Co. retiree

SALUDA, S.C. -- Mrs. Lula Mae Smith Jester, 75, of Route 2, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1998, at Self Memorial Hospital, Greenwood.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Good Hope Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.

Mrs. Jester, a native of Saluda County, was retired from Nantex Co. and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Earl O. Jester; one daughter, Sandra Jean Jester Bryan, Saluda; four sisters, Vinetta Nicholson, Jessie Werts, and Sara Crawford, all of Saluda, and Doris Jay, Johnston; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Good Hope Baptist Church, Route 2, Saluda, SC 29138 or to Lupus Foundation of America, South Carolina Chapter, 1038 Center St. W., Columbia, SC 29169.

Mr. Herbert Jordan Jr.

CARTERSVILLE, Ga. -- Mr. Herbert F. Jordan Jr., 53, of 134 Leake St., died Monday, Feb. 23, 1998, at Rome Medical Center, Rome.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta, with the Rev. Hosea Serrano officiating. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Ted Smith officiating.

Mr. Jordan was a native of Augusta.

Survivors include two cousins, Norma H. Rowe, Augusta, and Velda Schirhart, Martinez.

Memorials may be made to Three Rivers Behavioral Health Services-MR Service, 43 Chateau Court, Rome, GA 30161.

BLACKVILLE, S.C. -- Dakota Vaughn Carrico Martin, of Hampton Avenue, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1998, at University Hospital.

The funeral will be at 5 p.m. Friday at Reedy Branch Baptist Church, Barnwell, with the Revs. Harry Warren and Larry Hutto officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.

Dakota was a native of Augusta.

Survivors include his parents, Michael Vaughn Martin and Faith E. Martin, both of Blackville; one brother, Ryan Blankenship, Blackville; his paternal grandparents, Michael C. Martin, Barnwell, and Doris H. Lewis, Cummings; and his maternal grandparents, Frankie Hair, Cordova, and Juanita Still Hair, Barnwell.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Folk Funeral Home, Williston.
